Sean Payton Won’t Coach Slimy Saints Sunday

December 17th, 2021

Out.

When the Bucs host the slimy Saints Sunday night, a fixture on the slimy Saints’ sidelines won’t be there.

And that missing (former?) fixture will be New Orleans coach Sean Payton. Per Adam Schefter of BSPN, Payton, the pride of Eastern Illinois University, has tested positive for The Sickness (as he did in 2020) and will miss the game with the Bucs.

New Orleans defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, once a Raiders head coach, will assume head coaching duties.

  1. Dew Says:

AB decision discussed today but no decision yet. He was at the Bucs facility today working out. If we are so dumb to release him I’m sure several playoff teams woulsd want him & fans would go nuts. Won’t happen.

  2. Hodad Says:

Always hate playing the Saints for obvious reasons no matter who’s playing, or on the sideline. Either way, I hope we can take their division crown Sunday night, and put them in the rearview mirror.

  3. Chris Says:

I wanted him to be there to watch us kick their ass and win the division. Joe – post on your page to remind fans to wear red for the game for the red-out!

  4. SufferingSince76 Says:

Payton will be in Green’s ear. Bank on it.

  5. Mike C Says:

Makes me sad he won’t be in the building when we take back the Division, hope we pound them into oblivion.

  6. snookman Says:

Good Chance this game does not get played…………..stay tuned..

  7. VSyl Says:

We will win. My main concern in this game is someone named Tom Brady also getting the sickness or several others.

  8. cmurda Says:

The real question is will Sean Payton still outcoach us while not coaching.

  9. Bobby Buc Says:

from the avengers: “whatever it takes…”

  10. zzbuc Says:

    @Dew…

I agree It won´t happen, but if I am the Bucs GM, he is gone…

I love how he plays, I agree the Bucs are better with him, but I don´t like players who think they are above the team,he did very crazy thiong several times not only one……. I just let him go…..

And I am NOT AN AB HATER, is just my opinion on this matter, thats all….

  11. crazybucs_CL Says:

Sean Payton is a great HC and I hate him, cause is not ours.
He don’t care for the Sunday’s game…. all his concentration now is in one thing ONLY:
How to bring Aaron Rodgers to NO.

  12. STL-BucsFan Says:

No hugging or jersey swapping after the game and NOT because of covid but because its the Saints!!! show these fools who celebrated an October win like it was the Superbowl no mercy or respect!!! God i hate that team!!!!! LETS F’N GO BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Bird Says:

We may need an undercover private investigator making sure non of the saints coaches are wearing an earpiece during the game . 😂

  14. ModHairKen Says:

If this team cuts Edwards or AB, then they are stupid. And they are crapping on the fans.

  15. crazybucs_CL Says:

Tell that to BA, TBA vaxx promoter….He can start to promote boosters now….one per week….. are they(players) going to be safe then??? Tell us BA, or still players get quarantined.. no play…. and lose the game!!!!
Did SP got a real Vax Card??? Did the Card protected him??

  16. stpetebucsfan Says:

Here is Sean Payton’s best move!

He should hope Shad Khan is desperate to win and will open the vault to lure Payton from New Orleans. I mean elephant dollars to salve New Orleans wounds.

Payton would go from a failed #1 draft pick with a blown out knee to a brand new #1 draft pick. He would have great draft picks coming up. He would have money to spend.

In honesty is there anybody here who would bet against Payton turning the Jags into a winner. It’s the closest thing to a sure bet one could make. Khan should at least be flashing his huge wallet in front of Payton along with player control and whatever it takes to get one of the top five coaches in the league.

BTW I do not like Payton but I absolutely respect him.

  17. PSL Bob Says:

Playing at home and the Saints are without their starting QB and head coach. No way we lose this one. No way!

  18. SaintsFan59 Says:

Slimy Saints?? Grow up. The Buccaneers are running a Lebronesque all star team because you couldn’t put a team together the natural way, and the Saints are slimy? Only from wanna be TB.

  19. Joshua porter Says:

Slimy saints fan getting butt hurt what else is new. This is out page jack ass you don’t like it slime your way out lol all love

  20. SaintsFan59 Says:

Joshy porter… not butt hurt. this is out page… what? did you make it through sixth grade numb nuts?

  21. vabucsman Says:

Agreed, all love. Lets show love to everyone we meet, but also F$&@ the Aints

  22. vabucsman Says:

@SaintsFan59 So are you just casually wasting your time on another team’s fan page for fun? Or is your team so boring and lifeless that you have to come and check in on how the champs are doing? Either answer will suffice

  23. STL-BucsFan Says:

SaintFan59.. so building a team through the draft (entire O-Line) and free agency isn’t building a team? how did you get Brees again? oh and with all the division titles you won you only have 1 Superbowl to show for it?? TROLL

  24. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I thought it was Russell Wilson that was going to New Orleans, not Aaron Rodgers.
Green Bay is a serious contender, perhaps a player or 2 away from being one of the best teams in the NFL.
Rodgers would be stupid to leave.
Now Seattle, they are a trainwreck, and Russell Wilson wants out of there.

  25. Kentucky Buc Says:

SaintsFan59. I’d hazard to guess that the Bucs play more draft picks than most of the league.

  26. zzbuc Says:

@SaintsFan59…. Still hurts right? This is so great, a Saints fan on a Bucs forum, trying to see what happens…..What a waste!!!! Last playoff game? Still bleeding????

Keep on this pase, you will be sniffing on Lions and Jets pages…. Loosers!!!!

  27. BucsMinisiterFuller Says:

    The Sickness?
    WTF?
Jesus, we are almost 2 years into this at this point. Call it what it is COVID.

  28. zzbuc Says:

    @SaintsFan59
How many SB do the saints have? Because TB has 2….

    Slimmy Siants hahahahhahahah

  29. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

The NFL has postponed the game on Sunday against the Saints!

  30. zzbuc Says:

@Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa…where did you get that? Sorry to ask

  31. Bird Says:

    Saintsfan

Thats ndog you guys. Not a real saints fan
    He is a coward

Do any buc fans go on saints site? Not but the messiah cult maybe

  32. Cobraboy Says:

@Chris: not sure that is accurate based on the NFL’s website announcement.

  33. cmurda Says:

A Lebronesque team while everyone but a handful of players were drafted. Stop acting like you know anything about football little Saints fella and just keep your depression from your terrible team to the Golden Saints forums so you can cry together. We had our time for depression. Hey, that SuperBowl last year was some kind of fun though.

  34. '74 Bucs fan Says:

Hey SaintsFan59 – you know what my favorite part of kicking the Saints a$$ in the playoff game was? Listening to Brees yell “Alvin” as he through the pick to D White!! Classic!

What kind of troll joins another Team’s blog site? Circus clown

  35. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

Gosh what a shame. Hate for then not to be at full strength.

  36. crazybucs_CL Says:

@”…Gosh what a shame. Hate for then not to be at full strength…”
    ————–
When they are “full strength” or less, they beat our a$$es more then ones… so careful what u wishing for.

  37. cmurda Says:

I don’t know where the game has been postponed is coming from. Right on the NFL site it says Payton isn’t coaching and Allen is stepping in.

  38. Bird Says:

    Cmurda

Three games are being postponed until like monday for teams with a ton of guys out

Bucs are not one of those 3 games

  39. Jmarkbuc Says:

Three games have been moved.. but so far ours ain’t one of them.

  40. Ed Says:

Take your medicine, get better and don’t infect others. Common courtesy, if you know you are infected, only a piece of trash would be around others with a highly infectious disease. Don’t stop living your lives, don’t tell others what to do, just take care of yourselves and keep away from others until you are better.

I dislike Sean Payton greatly but I don’t wish anyone ill health. Hoping the Bucs play their best game of the year Sunday night and put a full 60 minute clinic on and dispose of the Saints once and for all in Tampa. I don’t know how many times I’ve sat in the stands and watched New Orleans outplay us. Its time to turn it on Sunday night!

  41. Zwak Says:

Hope he’s ok and wish him a fast recovery. We need to win this game..

  42. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Looks like a false alarm guys, sorry. WFLA went live and their headline said Tampa Bay Bucs- Saints postponed, but it was misleading. It looks like the game is still on for Sunday!

  43. Beeej Says:

NOW, it we beat the slimy Saints, they can point to coach being out as the cause

  44. Listnfrmafar Says:

Browns/Raiders moved to Monday, Wash/Philly & Rams/Seattle moved to Tuesday. It’s a shame Bucs kick Saints arse and Payton now has added * to it.

  45. FirstTimePoster Says:

The league has two options. Realize that the virus is NEVER going away or disband the league and live in fear. Period.

  46. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

They beat us with 3rd string Semian and guys who weren’t playing last year. He has smaller coaching staff but they are excellent coaches. Him not being there will not matter. After what Josh Allen did to us and they got 2 Gizmos that can kill us, so this game will have a lot of heart ache for us even THE GOAT plays poorly against them. We better pull out all the stops and if we’re up big better not go into turtle mode.

  47. Jerry Says:

As of right now, only Payton is testing positive. The game is not going to be moved unless an outbreak of players test positive as well.

  48. Pewter Power Says:

I’m not underestimating anyone this has been a very strange season plus Dennis Allen wants to be a head coach not a coordinator so I think the saints will be who they have been all season a pesky team when they play us. I still want a decisive win, blowout even

  49. Aceofaerospace Says:

I’m disappointed Kevin James isn’t filling in for Peyton.

  50. Merlin Says:

FTP, the case fatality rate for measles and chicken pox is less than 1%, but you wouldn’t be allowed to play if you were positive for either of those. Why is it so hard for you to figure out why a new highly contagious disease with a 0.1 to 1% fatality rate is cause to prevent someone from playing?

  51. adam from ny Says:

ehh, he’ll be talking into the headset of dennis allen from the burger king parking lot across from ray jay…

and watching the game on a big screen in an unmarked windowless rape van…

maybe they’ll tow his azz outta there

  52. CJ Says:

White slimy saints? They don’t sign thugs and cheaters like AB and others.
