Report: Bucs Fans Won’t See Leonard Fournette Until First Playoff (Lenny) Game

December 21st, 2021

See you in January.

A dreary Tuesday continues as more bad Bucs information surfaces.

Adam Schefter of BSPN reports that Playoff Lenny is out until the playoffs. He blew out his hamstring in the slimy Saints loss and is now lost for the regular season.

Joe only hopes this is the worst of the report. Yesterday it was first reported that Chris Godwin will only miss the regular season. Then Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach said Godwin was done for the year. Then Joe learned Lavonte David is done until at least Week 2 of the playoffs.

The key thing here is the Bucs need Playoff Lenny for the playoffs. So if this is the team shutting him down to make sure his hamstring is 100 percent for playoff football, good!

  1. PanhandleBuc Says:

    Just signed Bell! Wow

The saints really did a number on our squad and a huge dent in our SB repeat hopes!

  2. Francisco Guzman Says:

Too many injuries. I keep saying it they could be one and done if they draw the rams in the wildcard. Gotta stay away from that team.

  3. BucsLife Says:

Another shot, but we still are reining SB champs and it’s been a great couple of years.. I just hope we can win 1 out of 3 after losing key pieces ? Lastly the coaching is a joke and after rewatching the first half the play calling was horrible and we couldn’t score a TD ? Minus Sucs miss, but can tell how the game is going to go by looking at Bradys eyes after a series or two and he didn’t look right again

  4. Steven007 Says:

Apparently they’re signing, or have signed Le’Veon Bell. Interesting choice. Great receiver. Or he was once upon a time anyways. Might work.

  5. Bucfan Says:

Leveon Bell is in the house.

  6. Stone crab sam Says:

    Torn hamstring~ 8-10 weeks + imo.
Turn out the lights. His party’s over

  7. Francisco Guzman Says:

They need to start focusing on running the ball more. If teams are gonna play those two deep safeties.

  8. Gofortheface30 Says:

But, but Ke’Shawn Vaughn tho! Guys, wanna know how much confidence the Bucs have in Vaughn? There’s your answer. Signing a washed RB off the street (who laughably/embarrassingly called out Jake Paul For a fight) to be Ronald Jones backup. Hil-ar-I-ous.

  9. unbelievable Says:

I imagine the Saints are still celebrating all the kills they had Sunday night…

  10. Francisco Guzman Says:

Stone crab it’s not torn you 🤡. Where are you getting this?

  11. Francisco Guzman Says:

Anyway we can get Luke Kuechly out of retirement? 🤦‍♂️ Do the panthers still have his rights?

  12. Youngbucs Says:

The saints were targeting ever single tackle in the game was to the legs. No it’s not illegal but it was deliberate.

  13. Winny Testaverde Says:

Agreed Youngbucs…pile on after pile onto Fournette ( they could only blow up Godwin’s knee once of course ). The refs could have called one Unsportsmanlike penalty and likely curbed it. NFL & fans in general are sick of the Bucs success under Brady…there will be no sympathy forthcoming.

  14. Defense Rules Says:

Just read elsewhere that Fournette’s been put on IR. Makes sense to open up a spot for Bell, but kinda wondering now if Lenny will even make it back for the playoffs at all. Hammy might be more serious than Bucs stated initially.

  15. Kentucky Buc Says:

    Dirty bastards.

  16. bucschamp Says:

    Rojo will save us.

    oh good Lord….

  17. Jerry Says:

We knocked the Saints out of the playoffs last year. They were determined to do it to us this year, one way or another.

  18. unbelievable Says:

    ^ yup

    Bountygate never stopped.

  19. tampabayallday Says:

Should’ve ran the ball as much as we could and instead they let Brady and the rest of the team take a beating. Bad coaching.

  20. Swampbuc Says:

    This blows balloons.

  21. Coburn Says:

Well may just barely win the division, but I think it’s a good opportunity to see what we have I. Rojo. It’s sad to say he needs a kick in the rear to stay in shape, but could lay dividends in playoffs..

  22. DBS Says:

I can’t help but wonder if Brady thought they were going to target him. Is that the reason he went off on the Saints coach on the sidelines?

  23. BucsFan81 Says:

Damn with so many injuries it’s going to be damn hard to win the division. The only chance we might have is against the Jets.

  24. Im not tired anymore we Super Bowl Champs!! Says:

Saints can keep the change you filthy animals!

  25. BradyBucs Says:

Bucs already had the odds stacked against them to get back to the Super Bowl even with our healthy LIABILITY of a secondary.

But now with all these injuries, especially losing Godwin, it will be all but impossible to get back to the Super Bowl unless they have a FLAWLESS playoff run.

    Don’t see it happening.

  26. Im not tired anymore we Super Bowl Champs!! Says:

Anything is possible…you just have to believe. ;). Go Bucs!
