“Everybody In The NFC Should Be Worried”

November 26th, 2021

Should NFC teams be frightened?

A former Cowboy defensive end and an admitted Cowboys fan is scared.

Marcus Spears of BSPN appeared on “Stay in Bed” and was asked about the Bucs this week. The rest of the NFC ought to be having sleepless nights, Spears said, because the Bucs are showing signs of morphing into the same team that hit overdrive in December and ran the table to win the Super Bowl.

“You saw that offense,” Spears began speaking of how the Bucs were a machine against the Giants. “It looked a lot like it looked in that title run last year. When you think about what transpired, it was 10 dudes who caught passes for this offense.

“Listen man, as a Dallas Cowboys fan, this makes me ‘hella’ nervous. More nervous than losing to the Kansas City Chiefs. Because when you see Tom Brady operate at this level, it is very rare that he loses a football game. And don’t look now but this defense is getting healthy. They are starting to fly around.”

Joe pretty much agrees with Spears, but one element very concerning to Joe and that is Devin White being dinged up. He partially participated in practice on Thanksgiving morning. Today, Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians is expected to speak and update White’s status for Sunday. Yeah, Vita Vea’s too.

Yeah, the Bucs looked more like last year’s team on Monday night — the best they’ve looked since curb-stomping the Bears. A win Sunday on the road against a hot team sure would be another great sign.

You can watch Spears’ full take in the BSPN video below.

    Oh yes, that’s right.
    We beat the Giants.
    We’re on fire.

We should have scored 3 more TDs.

  2. Zwak Says:

It was the Giants, do the same thing to the Colts Sunday and I’ll feel much better!

  3. SB~LV Says:

    Show me !
The sloppy football went on WAY too long…
They are going to have to prove it to themselves and every team they play….
The Bucs have established a lot of poor football on film this year
    Show me !

  4. Swampbuc Says:

I enjoy Marcus Spears’ takes. Always good substance and an entertaining flair.

  5. SOEbuc Says:

When we can get this laundry list of injuries where every time one comes back, multiple go down, I’ll say be scared. But the NYG did fire their OC after losing to the world champs. That’s an explanation of how bad they are. Not because we’re so good it’s because they suck that bad.

  6. Listnfrmafar Says:

It must be the Bucs great coaching. I’m sure Lefluer & McVay are shaking in their boots after that win.

  7. Youngbucs Says:

People you guys are hilarious the Bucs are so bad their sitting in 3rd place lol. Those others teams you guys praise have some stinkers under their belt also. Get a grip sky always falling smh.

  8. Cobraboy Says:

    I’m with LV~SB: Show me.

This team has been sloppy in all but 2-3 games this season.

    Show me some consistency.

  9. Craig Says:

Get back to me is 7 weeks, and I’ll have an answer.

  10. GoatWatcher Says:

If they pay 4 full quarters they should put up 50 pts.

  11. Listnfrmafar Says:

Bucs have yet to play a 60 minute game yet.

  12. Listnfrmafar Says:

The coaches Bucs have lost to, McVay, Payton, Rivera and dodged a bullet to Belichick with a rookie QB. Do you see the common thread here? Better coaching and bad news fans, Frank Reich is a good coach.

  13. Joe in Michigan Says:

Youngbucs: Agreed. Some Bucs “fans” act like they should’ve played a better team than the Giants, even though the Giants were on their schedule for that night.

  14. Mike Johnson Says:

I wanna see how we do against the Colts first before I start the go all the way chants. The Colts are not the Giants. Bucs must be ready.

  15. unbelievable Says:

    Agreed SB!

They have played sloppy in every single game except against Chicago. That simply won’t cut it in the playoffs.

  16. Buccos Says:

Anyone who would criticize the Bucs coaching must be brain dead. IMO we have the best coaches in the league. We are lucky to still have our coordinators. And our HC has proven himself long before he won a Super Bowl with us.

  17. Listnfrmafar Says:

Buccos, really how did he prove himself pre SB. Make no mistake Brady’s influence and passion took this team to SB. He got everyone to buy in, all BA did was kiss Brady’s ass to get him to Tampa which I guess indirectly got team to SB so maybe you’re right, great coaching.

  18. Dmc Says:

As a Pats fan, I cannot imagine a better end of the season than a Super Bowl featuring the Bucs and the Pats so, yeah, go Bucs and go Pats.

  19. Listnfrmafar Says:

Dmc, not sure Bucs want that, then BA would really get exposed.

  20. Wild Bill Says:

Two bad losses followed by a win against a weak team. Ya that sounds like a juggernaut to be feared.
