Tom Brady Friend Claims Brady Wants To Ring Up The Scoreboard

October 3rd, 2021

More than one reason to score.

Since Bucs quarterback Tom Brady doesn’t exactly wear all his emotions on his sleeve, he’s a tough cookie to crack.

But a former teammate and friend of Brady’s when he played for the Belicheats, receiver Julian Edelman, claims Brady wants to make sure the Bucs have a big enough lead that his former coach Bill Belicheat calls off the dogs early.

In speaking on Ryen Russillo’s podcast hosted by The Ringer, Edelman said Brady wants people to realize what the Belicheats gave up on.

“He definitely wants to go out there and put some points up,” Edelman said. “That’s the kind of guy he is. You know, he is very competitive.

“And we’d all be a little ignorant to say there isn’t a little extra on this game.”

Well, the way that the Bucs defense has been giving up the booty in the first three games, the Bucs are so desperate for cornerback help that Richard Sherman, with all of three practices under his belt since last fall, may be pressed into service today.

So Brady might have other motivation to put points up aside from trying to show up the grouch across the field tonight.

I don’t think Brady wants to rub his prior teammates nose in it. Sure score the average 30 plus points but he’s not going to embarrassed them. Why would he want to come off as a ahole to all his fans and ex teammates? Bucs also don’t want their QB getting hurt in the 4th game of the season. What concerns me is the shot from Belichick about Bucs using his offense, I don’t want BA to wake up and revamp the O to prove a point.

  2. Bojim Says:

He better run up the score as our defense isn’t doing it for whatever reasons.

  3. Buc50 Says:

Of course he wants to run up the score. He’s playing the the team who wanted to trade him and keep “That MFer”

  4. BigMacAttack Says:

I hope he throws 10 TDs just because he can and BB is the number one pos in the NFL next to Roger “thinks he’s king” Goofball.

Not going to happen, this team will be lucky to get out of NE with a win. Our defense is in the tank. I expect to see our secondary get owned. Delaney and Cockrell again? White looks terrible in coverage, Shaq is a joke and Tryon looks like a kid playing pros, the guy gets owned on every play. Seriously this defense is one of the worst in the NFL, no push upfront, no sacks, no pressure.
It might be very bad tonight.. I hope not but I would not be surprised.

Buc4eva, relax Jones has only thrown 2 td passes so far this season, they were relying on the run and underneath stuff to James White who is out for the season. I would feel better if Gronk were playing but I don’t see Pat’s scoring a lot of points. They are 2nd in pass def which on paper seems good except the QB’s they faced were Tua, Zack Wilson and Mr. Excitement himself that threw 2 pics not exactly Dak, Ryan, Stafford.

@Buc4evr I use to pick out all the negatives to help prepare emotions for a lost as well. Thing is we had jameis & other castoffs . TB12 here so there’s always a chance . Let’s get this W

    GoBucs!

Bucs will need 35+ points to win. Bucs defense is old and washed up. D line up a completely average. Pats have been disrespected all week. Pats have superior coaching, home field advantage, and will win the game. 24-21 Pats. Mark the tape, unfortunately.

Of course. Who wouldn’t want to make this point to his ex-boss.

Maybe when Brady said, “you’re keeping that MFer?!” it was the Pats!!! LMAO

  13. Buxszntkt Says:

How did Edelman catchmall those balls up the middle, you can blindfold that dude with dental floss. Surprised he could see all those balls.

  16. Listnfrmafar Says:

Brady has the best record in the NFL after a regular season loss 51-14

  17. M. Steelman Says:

My boy Tom wants to hang a hundred on their asses. Pats do not have superior coaching. Big Bill has a losing record without Tom. His rings have come from riding Tom coattail and LT’s. Big win tonight ! They find the defense tonight after Tod and Tom has put a boot in their butts. There not to old, they have gotten lazy. Score 48-21 Bucs win ,Tom -400+yards passing 5 tds maybe a pic but it’s not going to matter.

  18. M. Steelman Says:

I’m being really kind giving pats 21

  19. Ne+ bucs fan Says:
