Battle For Leg Up In NFC South Supremacy

October 26th, 2021

Hosts his old team.

With a strong defensive effort last night, the slimy Saints have set up an NFC South showdown on Halloween with the Bucs.

The Bucs face the Saints on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. with a lot up for grabs. That’s because the slimy Saints beat the Seahawks 13-10 last night to up their record to 4-2. The Bucs are 6-1.

If the slimy Saints win, not only would they be tied in the loss column with the Bucs, they would (temporarily) hold a tiebreaker edge over the Bucs in the division race (though the Bucs would still have a half-game lead).

A loss to the slimy Saints would make the Bucs’ quest for a postseason home-field advantage and a first-round bye all the more challenging.

The Bucs are currently on a five-game regular-season losing streak to the slimy Saints.

No W will be eaten by Winston next week

  2. Brad Says:

Should beat them handily. They aren’t good and are scared to let Jameis throw to the nobodys they have. Watch out for trick plays if Hill is back.

i can’t believe halloween for the kids starts around halftime of the bucs game…what is that???

if the saints dropped the game tonight, to go to 3-3, this weekend’s game would really put the dagger in them for the division…

we could have potentially come out of there 7-1, while the saints would have been 3-4…at that point i’d say we all but wrapped up the division if things remain status quo…

no worries we will pull away – maybe a little later than sooner, but we shall pull away…

the 6-1 bucs vs the 4-2 saints, with jameis, makes for a very interesting game now…

initially i said this is one of the games we drop…having a lull and sleepwalking into the bye…

now hopefully we get this win…if not, the aints will be hot on our tails (bucs 6-2) (saints 5-2)…

let’s not give the saints any reason to believe…

also their good linebacker interrupted jameis’ post game interview on mnf, to take over the talk, and yap away…

i’m sure many bucs were watching the game – 13 points certain aint gonna do it vs. the tampa bay buccaneers

  4. BigPoppaBuc Says:

Biggest game of the season so far. I hope they show up knowing that fact. The Saints defense is good enough to slow us down a little and Winston will be looking for the big play. I friggin hate the Saints. Common, Bucs… Put the dagger in these guys and put yourselves in the division driver seat!

  5. adam from ny Says:

if we lose to the saints, and then the saints win during our bye week, then the saints are technically in first place in the division…

yeah a lot has to go wrong for that to happen…

just thinking of scenarios over here

  6. Patrianakos Says:

Warning: That defense is for real.
On the bright side: Aside from Kamara and Callaway, it doesn’t look like anybody there can catch a football.

  7. Snail Says:

I wanted to root for Jameis wherever he went, but we went to the Aints. I hope he embarrasses himself and his team like he did so many times when he played for us.

  8. Rod Munch Says:

Saints are a 4th quarter defensive collapse away from being 5-1. Anyone who takes this game lighty is what is referred to as an ‘idiot’.

Watching the last few minutes of the game tonight, it just reinforces what I’ve seen when I’ve watched the Saints. First, they’re telling Jameis to only throw to guys who are wide open. Two, no one is wide open except for Karama, because his WR’s are awful.

With that said I can not imagine that Payton is going to try to play that conservatively against the Bucs. Then again, he’s owned Arians outside of the playoff game when his QB couldn’t throw more than 11 yards downfield. That Saints defense gives the Bucs offense an insanely difficult time, so hopefully Arians and Leftwich are going to Brady and asking him what he wants to do since the Bucs played the Saints three times last year.

On the Bucs defense vs Winston, I have no idea what is going to happen. Again, the Saints WRs are pretty awful, but they do have speed. Meanwhile our 9th string corners are pretty awful, and slow. Even if the Bucs get up in the game do we really trust this defense to hold? For all the bullcrap nonsense the anti-Winston idiots bring up, when he last started for a year he lead the league in passing and was 2nd in TDs. He got Perriman like $8m/year by making him look like a stud after Evans and Godwin went down at the end of the year. Like Winston or not, he doesn’t ever quit, and you know this game is bigger to him than anyone else on earth. Maybe that emotion goes sour on him, like Brady returning to Boston and overthrowing everyone all night, but if the Bucs get up, and Payton takes off the reigns, I could see him throwing them back into the game. It’s why on offense the Bucs have to make sure they get any and all points they can.

With all that said, the Bucs are the better team and they should win. But that’s been said many a times about the Bucs when facing the Saints in the regular season.

I was, and still am, a Winston fan. To be clear, I 100% supported, from day 1, signing Brady – but because Brady came here does not mean I hope Winston does well…. when not playing a game that impacts the Bucs future.

  9. bucschamps Says:

cam still thinks they are the best. lets lay him on the grass

  10. Youngbucs Says:

The aints are trash they got lucky last night I’m not impressed by them.

  11. Youngbucs Says:

Refs were horrible by the way hope we get a decent crew.

  12. Defense Rules Says:

Bucs right now are playing with 2 hands tied behind our back. Offensively we’re currently missing Gronk & AB, two BIG threats. Defensively we’re currently missing LVD, Davis, SMB, Sherman & now possibly Dean & Delaney. Still, we’ve compensated very nicely on both sides of the ball, and the guys filling in have stepped up to the plate big-time to get us to 6-1.

The Saints’ defense matches up nicely against our offense, but over half of their starters are new since last year. They’re ranked high (#4 allowing only 15 PPG), but I’m not sure they’re really THAT good (Panthers & Giants laid 26 & 27 pts on them in their 2 losses, and neither are offensive powerhouses).

The Saints’ offense also has a number of new starters, but their OLine remains solid. Jameis looks to be having a meh year, completing an average of slightly less than 12 passes per game, with only a 60% completion rate. Saints’ run game is obviously their strength, but that’s also our defense’s strength. Kamara’s still their big dog, but his numbers are well down from last year at this point (averaged 5.0 yds/rush last year, but is only 3.9 yds/rush this year; averaged 77.6% catch rate last year with Brees but only 68.2% this year with Jameis).

I’d expect Bucs to be favored, but it should be a good test of how well our high-powered offense does against a stout defense.

  13. Medicated Pete Says:

Devin White is gonna have to cover Alvin Kamara a lot. Put his track shoes on

  14. Bucsfanman Says:

It’s time to end the streak. Throw out the statistics and the numbers.
    Just win.

  15. SB~LV Says:

    Jameis is still Jameis
Take Kamara out of the game, easier said than done for most teams, and Jameis’s blankie is gone.
Jameis has improved some under Payton but still doesn’t know what to do when what he is looking for does not appear in the passing game.
Key to the win is to keep Jameis “thinking “
Something he is not very good at 🧐

  16. 74 Bucs Fan Says:

Frustrating game last night as the Seahawks couldn’t get out of their own way, and the play calling was horrid. Seattle is not good.

  17. Buc4evr Says:

Take away the screen passes, play man on the Kamara, let JTS spy on Jameis and the Saints are going to have a rough day. Not too worried about their D, think we can run on them and expect our O-line to protect Brady. I expect Payton to go after our CB’s and Bowles to throw in a lot of blitz packages and try to confuse Jameis. Hopefully we can get a few fumbles and Int’s. This is a game that we have to finish and not miss any scoring opportunities.

  18. mark2001 Says:

Who played QB for the Seahawks? Oh..nevermind. Not that a QB makes any difference in the scheme of things…LOL.

  19. B-Bro Says:

    Kick their ass good Bucs

  20. Roy T. Buford Says:

QB Geno Hayes, his O line, and an offside penalty beat the Seahawks last night, not Winston. Winston made a couple of great throws that weren’t caught, and Kamara helped hide a lackluster Saints offense led by Winston, who also made some pretty poor throws. If Michael Thomas and Taysom Hill stay out and the Bucs get even a couple starters back Sunday, the Bucs should win handily.

  21. Roy T. Buford Says:

Seeing Geno Hayes last night did offer some comfort that there is a backup QB in the NFL who is worse than Blaine Gabbert.

  22. SufferingSince76 Says:

Geno Smith was QB for Seattle.

  23. BuddhaBuc Says:

    @ Roy
Did you mean Geno Smith? Yes, I wasn’t impressed with a Saints win over a Wilson-less team. I think the Bucs are going to surprise a lot of people in the next game with a big win and no question of who the division leader is.

  24. BA4President Says:

Kamara is a beast and should be feared. Unfortunately they purposefully don’t have JW throwing much so there are less interceptions.

  25. DBS Says:

Put pressure on Winston and we known what he will do. Toss it up in the air and you know the rest of the story. But watch for the trick play as always. We never seem to be for it when everyone in the world knows it is the next play.

  26. Craig Says:

I don’t see anything to be afraid of with the current Saints offense. It is all about one guy, and that guy is not the QB.

Their current QB still cannot sustain drives, can’t put opposing teams away, or make first downs very often.

Controlling Kamara is not easy, but it is easier when no one else on the team is capable.

Their defense is better than the Bears, but not by a lot, Brady will be able to carve them up.

  27. Youngbucs Says:

Rod munch spare me they could also easily be 1-5.

  28. TJ Says:

    Betta getcho sheets ready!

  29. Bobby M. Says:

Dink and dunk won’t work….which is what Payton is relying on to keep Winston in check and control the clock to keep our offense off the field. I think Winfield or Edwards will be locked in on Winston’s eyes down the field and will have opportunities to pick him off.

  30. Medicated Pete Says:

The playcalling by the Seahawks was almost as bad as the Tony Dungy Bucs. So conservative

  31. TJ Says:

So…SufferingSince78’s comment “Gino Smith was QB for Seattle” gets cleared but my comment “Betta getcho sheets ready” is locked up “waiting for moderation”?!?! What are you so afraid of Joe?

  32. Listnfrmafar Says:

C’mon did anybody watch that game? Both teams were horrible. Seattle wouldn’t let Geno Smith throw the ball and Winston stinks. Seattle gave him 4 to 5 seconds to throw the ball. I will give him this he did throw two bombs that should of been caught, defend that and all they have is Kamara. Saints ain’t this season.

  33. orlbucfan Says:

Don’t forget, Richard Sherman was an All-Pro DB under Seattle in their heyday. What has happened to them?? Sherman still knows folks there. I would love to be a fly on the wall when he huddles with his fellow DBs and coaches and gives them his input today and this week. This will be a real test. Winston always plays with a lot of heart. Payton will have the refs in his pocket and they are playing in NOLA. Happy Halloween.

  34. Bird Says:

Didnt watch game but saw stats in 3rd

Kamara had like 120 yards receiving of jameis total 170 pass yards. Thats crazy
Kamara did not rush for much.

So the key is shutting down screen game / shutting down kamara
Cause lets face it, peyton is the best offensive mind in the game
He can win with jameis , bridgewater and hill as qb

Heck a gimmick qb like taysome hill went 4-0 last year. Bridgewater 3-1 two years ago.
And jameis will want to-win game bad so he will be given 2-3 big plays. most highlights i see from saints games are hail mary jump balls or dude is open by 10 yards . Saints defense is sick. And lattimore has evans number. Saints at home on halloween. Gonna be a close one

  35. Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

@Rod: “…Like Winston or not, … you know this game is bigger to him than anyone else on earth…”

And how does JW play when he is amped? Lots of INTs. Holds the ball too long, throws into double coverage, etc.

I say, double Kamara; take him out of the game. Saints don’t have the WRs, or anyone else to beat us. Also, lets remember that the Seahawks are not that good this year, Gino is playing QB. And the Saints barely beat them

  36. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Take Kamara out…..put LVD & White on him the entire game…..that takes the run & short pass away…….Force Jameis to throw to his receivers…..

We need Gronk because they will shut Evans down…..It would be helpful if AB is able to return.

  37. DoooshLaRue Says:

Lattimore was being his usual bitch ass punk self last night, be careful ME13.
JayMiss plays scared now. Get pressure and watch him meltdown.
Kamara is all they have on offense.
Spy Kamara and give TB protection Donnie.

    ….and we should win.

  38. Francisco Guzman Says:

Need to play 60 minutes against the saints. Defense has to show up in this game as well. All these games are big right now.

  39. Ed Says:

Bucs should spread out the Saints and run when they are expecting pass and pass when they are expecting run. Dennis Allen has a very good defense with exceptional run defense. Brady can get the ball out quick and Saints can’t cover all of the Bucs weapons as long as they win the battle in trenches. I love the way our lines are playing so much more physical than the first 3 games.

We have seen how quarterbacks that get the ball out quickly can carve up the Buc defense except Winston doesn’t get the ball out quickly and can be indecisive. If the Bucs play the same defense they did vs Philadelphia and Chicago they will be fine. No reason to change because the Saints are one dimensional with Kamara. Keep tight coverage on him, he is going to get the touches so limit his yards after catch.

  40. D-Rome Says:

This is a huge game for the Bucs. I said for years that Jameis is not a franchise QB. Sean Payton figured this out. Right now Jameis is a game manager. A game manager that averages 185 yards a game and only has 3 INTs on the season. It’s really remarkable when you think about it that he’s currently on pace for 37 TDs and 9 INTs.

The mouth-breathing supporters need to slow down though. He’s having a good year by *NOT* being what you all wanted him to be. He’s still only passing at a 60% clip and he doesn’t have good enough accuracy to throw it deep. He was never a guy that can air it out. The goofs out there thought he was some gun slinging franchise QB similar to Brett Favre or Big Ben. He’s closer to Brad Johnson and Jeff Garcia as game managers and you can win with a guy like that, but not here. He never had the ball skills that Koetter or Arians needed.

  41. Coburn Says:

Neither Seahawks or saints looked like very good teams last night, but people are right that saints do have a good defense and still need to put our best foot forward

  42. AMI_Chris Says:

Saints do have a very good defense but Geno Smith is not an NFL starter. There were series when the Seahawks wouldn’t let him throw the ball, as they kept going backwards. Huge bonus for the Saints to play Seattle without DangeRuss.

  43. Coburn Says:

Yeah you’re right Chris. They were running into the teeth of the saints and they knew it was coming because they didn’t trust geno. Winston didn’t look too hot either with him missing open targets

  44. crazyBucs_CL Says:

Seahawks last night = Bucs without TB12. I got chills.
That’s our future, lets enjoy the present.
We going to beat Saints, cause we are going for SB right? How can you let that team beat you???!!!

  45. DoooshLaRue Says:

    D-Rome,

If you watch JayMiss now you can tell he wants to do something big/stupid but catches himself.
I don’t know what Payton threatened him with, but it’s worked so far.

    However,
If we get a big lead and JayMiss has to press and try to make things happen, then I fully expect to see the JayMiss we all know.

  46. Bucs&Bolts Says:

No way we lose this game we gonna eat the Aints alive ! Wish I could go to the dome to watch it

  47. Oxycodoms Says:

Bucs struggle against smart play callers might be closer than one will like. Hopefully gronk and or brown will be back with lattimore covering evans

  48. webster Says:

D Rome everything about your statement is wrong. 1st of all, people like you poo pooed Jameis passing yards when he would throw for 300-400 yards saying you would rather see him throw for 180 yards etc and win. Now that he does, you poo poo that too? He can’t win for losing with you haters. 2nd, Jameis supporters never cared if Jameis threw for 400 yards or 180 yards but they understood he had to throw for 400 yards most games because your kicker sucked, your run game sucked, your oline sucked and your defense sucked for 4 1/2 years. All Jameis supporters said is give this man a competent team and he wont have to throw it 50 times a game. See Russell wilson’s or brady’s attempts early in their career. They leaned on running and defense. Jameis has not even played half a season with another team now and he is already proving the Jameis supporters RIGHT!!!! Why? because he has a defense, a running game, a kicking game and oline. Most things all winning qbs have and need. Funny how the great patrick mahomes sucks all of a sudden. The national talking heads and regular joes on twitter etc are saying well its because Mahomes oline sucks, his defense sucks and he does not have a running game. They say he is forcing plays because he knows he has to win shoot outs. Where have we heard that before? Oh thats right. We heard that right here but the Jameis supporters were making excuses but these are the same “excuses” being made for the QB universally considered by far and away the BEST qb in the league the past 3 years. BTW, he is making the same dangerous passes today that he was making the past 3 years.

And last point, to your brad johnson comment, stop it. The Saints are missing their top 2 WRs and Payton is a smart coach. He is not going to air it out like a dumb @$$ when his WRs are substandard at this time. That would be stupid coaching. Kind of like when Godwin and Evans goes down, but the bucs continued to throw 50 times to Justin Watson, Cyril Grayson, Breshard Perriman, Ishmael Hyman. What could possibly go wrong?

  49. Mike C Says:

I have watched very little of Jay Miss this year, the two times I did his coach was chewing him out after a TD pass in both games….. you can’t make this stuff up smh.

  50. Mike Johnson Says:

Weather elements have a lot to do with a game. It was cold, windy and light rain last night in Seattle. Jameis played decent but not great. We should beat the Saints but on any given Sunday folks,,,,,,,,,

  51. Cobraboy Says:

One wonders if Russell Wilson would have made a difference.

Is not Thomas set to return vs. the Bucs? That could fix their WR issues.

This will be a difficult, close game. Saints are out for revenge from the playoffs.

Seahawks last night = Bucs without TB12. I got chills
    ___________

Probably true, but I saw some really bad play calling from the Seahawks last night and we have THE MASTERMIND on our sideline!
    So there’s that.

Just a heads-up guys……lil’ webster is patrolling this thread in defense of his man crush, the Soiled Messiah, JayMiss. Some lives are just meant to endure.
One of the few remaining Nuthuggers.

…….and he still gets a Christmas card from ndog.

  53. Keith Says:

That game last night was a Sh!t show. N.O. was not impressive in any way. Jameis and Geno
Look like the same trashy back up QBs. SAINTS Def. Was not impressive either

  54. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

All the Winston jock sniffers should just move to New Orleans. Bye bye.

  55. Tye Says:

Watching the game last night, the Seahawks in the 2nd half doubled team Kamara any time he came out of the back field forcing JW to go to other options…
several times he missed wide open receivers down field…

Hill and Kamara are all the Saints have and it is losing its effectiveness…
The Bucs shut down Kamara, pressure JW all game to make him frantic and watch the game be won by half time, much like against the Bears!

  56. Keith Says:

Webster. Jameis has not proven anything. You do understand. A lot and mean A LOT of Winston’s Glory yardage was late game garbage yards. You can watch every saints game this season and can tell Payton does not trust Winston at all. I’m a fan of every player that wears Pewter regardless. Jameis is a good person just not a starting QB.

  57. D-Rome Says:

Webster, your post made me laugh. I’m not poo-pooing on Jameis. I don’t care if he wins or loses. He’s not my quarterback (Thank God). He’s not a franchise QB. He’s a game manager and DooshLaRue is right, when you watch him play you can see him struggling to not go fullretard with passes. He still has accuracy issues. Even with his play chopped off at the knees he still can’t do better than 60%. That’s not good enough in today’s NFL. He’s near the bottom of the list.

  58. Buczilla Says:

Typical game from the decent version of Jameis. Some great throws mixed in with some bad ones, some nice runs and a handful of ‘wtf is he doing plays”. As much as I despise Payton, his decision to run Kamara on third and ten with the game very much in doubt, took balls.

Watching last night’s game brought up five years worth of rollercoaster like memories, but it also made me appreciate even more what it means to have the best football player to ever play the game on your team. If we get decent or “wtf” Jameis, we’ll hand the saints their a$$es. If good Jameis shows up, it’s gonna be a tight game. Either way, good riddance to Jameis and I hope that we curb stomp him and his new d-bag team into oblivion. 😛

  59. Jmarkbuc Says:

I didn’t see much difference in Jaboo, other than Payton has him on a really short leash.

Granted the weather wasn’t awesome, but it all looked pretty pedestrian. Without AK they ain’t got much

  60. webster Says:

Keith you are full of crap. The bucs had leads a lot of times in the 4th qtr and the defense couldn’t hold the lead or had a chance to win and the kicker miss the kick. All this garbage yard crap is just that crap. Heck inn 2019 the bucs went into the 4th qtr with leads 11 times alone. That does not sound like garbage yards. Also, there are a lot of sorry teams/qbs who are losing every game and never throw for a lot of yards so again, garbage yards is just lies. And yes keith, Jameis has proven something. That when you play well around him or any qb, you can win with him ala ryan tannerhill. Remember tannerhill “sucked” and was the problem in Miami too. Put a competent team around him and he could be successful. Thats all jameis supporters ever said and he is doing it. And coaching goes a long way too. New orleans lost a lot of high end talent in free agency due to salary cap and have lost a lot of good talent to injury and payton still has them playing at a high level. I didnt expect them to be this good or even be in playoff discussion.

D-Rome you are poo pooing his yardage as if he is not capable of putting up more. You and posters like you were screaming for the bucs to sign teddy checkdown and his numbers were less impressive yet you again poo poo jameis in the same vein. You were saying yards mean nothing and it is all about wins. Winston does what you and others were screaming for and he does that and you yahoos are still trashing him. Yea Im sure it was/is not personal. And Jameis is the only player I have ever seen get criticized of what you “think it looks like or it could have been more ints etc”. Its so funny because you and doosh say it looks like something so then it must be true. Yea cause you and doosh are the fountain of facts and have the ability to read minds and dont have a personal agenda against Jameis.

  61. GoatWatcher Says:

That game was hard to watch last night. Geno Smith and some clowns who couldn’t get out of their own way and the Saints squeak out a win because of two idiotic 4th down penalties. The Bucks will be locked in, guaranteed. Tampa Bay has a bad history with NE, but Brady doesn’t. Not worried about this one.

  62. TJ Says:

My man Webster! The most intelligent post I’ve seen on her in a while…straight facts!

  63. Jim Says:

Webster, we’d cut Jameis some slack if only he’d got us to the play-offs, let alone won a Super Bowl. That’s where your Mahomes comparison falls flat…

  64. DoooshLaRue Says:

Gee, I wonder if JayMiss had any turnovers in any of those 11, 2019 4th quarter leads the lil’ Nuthugger referred to?

    Hmmmm…….. that’s a real mystery…..

  65. Roy T. Buford Says:

All…thanks for the catch. Yes, I did mean Geno Smith, not Hayes!

  66. TJ Says:

These “moderated/censored” screenshots are going to be worth gold at the conclusion of Jameis’ Hall of Fame career! My posterity thanks you for the Jameis hate, lol…now censor that!!!

  67. Anonymous Says:

I have watched the NO games vs NYG,NE,WFT and SEA. They still playing really good defense. On offense they are not taking many risks and trying to run the ball more. If you try to take away Kamara in the passing game (even double him some) and you tackle really solid then you have a nice chance to limit them and put pressure on them. Last night Kamara was almost half of their offense output if not more. Just contain and not let him run wild. Go Bucs

  68. TJ Says:

    Too late Joe…

  69. webster Says:

Jim. No your comphrehension falls flat. When mahomes was going to the playoffs and winning superbowls there were no stories of not having a running game ie kareem hunt was there. There was no story about a weak defense or poor oline play. Mahomes THIS year is suffering from not having those now and he looks exactly like jameis looked when jameis was here. Multiple ints and fumbles and trying to do to much NOW. Why? Because its a TEAM sport. Why isnt mahomes playing well now when alot of his team is in shambles? Did he forget how to play at a high level or is it his current surroundings not allowing his talents to shine through? Now can kc turn it around? Sure because its 10 games to go but they will have to run it better, block better and lord knows play better defense. If they do, then mahomes will look like the mahomes we came to know and not the jameis we saw here.

  70. webster Says:

Doosh he probably did but we throwing ints in the 4th doesnt mean you have to lose a lead. Did the goat not throw int in the 4th in the confernce championship? Sure but good thing the bucs had a defense to keep the pack from scoring. Btw….off the top of my head the giants, seattle, atlanta jameis did not throw an int in the 4th and the bucs lost. That would be 3 wins and a playoff birth. We did however have a defense that folded and missed kicks in the 4th though. So there ya go

  71. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Comparing JayMiss to Mahomes.
Not exactly an apples to apples comparison is it now?

But as the Patsy Cline song goes…….

🎶 Stand by your man 🎵

or in lil’ webster’s case…..in front of him and bent over.

  72. Tye Says:

The way the Saints are limiting Winston, its obvious Sean doesn’t trust his qb….
Unless JW miraculously becomes a good qb, Its likely a good bet that JW won’t be their starter come next season….

Especially if he keeps missing wide open receivers!… Peyton won’t put up with that…

  73. webster Says:

No doosh continue to show your ignorance. I did not compare winston to mahomes. I compared their situations which resulted in the same type of qb play. Not once did your ignotant @$$ answer the question why is mahomes who so great sucking now when he too THIS year has no running game, oline or defense? Answer that question or u can continue to live up too your name as a doosh. Btw…..isnt it funny how the narrative was brady arm is dead and he has fallen off the cliff etc. He comes to tampa with weapons and he looks like he is 30. Why? Because the talent around a qb means something. Even the goat looked like he was done when he had crap around him because its a TEAM game.

Tye payton knows he has no receivers. Again he is not going to air it out. The national media talks about the saints wr not being able to get seperation. Saint fans are killing trequan smith today for not knowing plays and cutting routes off. You think payton does not know he is not operating with a full deck of pass catchers? You think payton would not love to have emanuel sanders who has helped buffalo by putting a viable option on the other side of diggs but couldnt keep him due to salary cap?You think it was a coincedence payton blasted thomas publicly for waiting to get his ankle surgery? No payton is a great coach. But sure blame jameis for the poor wide outs of the saints and every thing else like this fan base did

The Bucs are on a revenge tour, and I love it! Even though they are the defending champions, they had a chip on their shoulder when they played the Bears (because of the last year’s loss). Devin White confirmed that with his comments. The Saints beat them twice last year, and I predict that the Bucs will want to send them a message.

    webster,

    You are a true idiot.
So you admit JayMiss HAD talent here at WR, that’s why Brady did well.
    So what’s Jaboo’s excuse again?

He’s a mental midget who also scored 42 points for opposing teams in 2019.

Keep trying to reason this out…..it’s beyond comical at this point!

    Damn Webster…

    Are you a Buc fan?
