Antonio Brown Sprained His Ankle

October 20th, 2021

Antonio Brown

The Bucs’ superstar No. 3 receiver — as hard as that is to believe — sprained his ankle against the Eagles on Thursday and was held out of practice today, Bucco Bruce Arians said.

What does that mean? Hard answers will come Friday, or perhaps Sunday just before kickoff.

Antonio Brown is the #1 receiver.

  2. Show Me the TDs Says:

    Tyler Johnson. We loaded.

  3. Cannon Says:

Ankle sprains are understandable when you kick ass as hard as AB.

  4. Miller5252 Says:

He probably got hurt on the play where the eagle player wouldn’t let go of his ankle until he got up. The way he’s been playing we can’t lose him. Brady and Evans just don’t seem to get on the same page like AB and Brady. Maybe someone who watches Evans live can explain it, does Evans just not run as good of routes as AB and is that why Evans and Brady seem off on throws?

  5. Tampabaybucfan Says:

If Evans gets open….Brady will throw to him……Brady doesn’t like 50-50 odds.

  6. crazybucs_CL Says:

No AB, no Gronk, o boy we are in trouble in offense as well. That is what it means

  7. PSL Bob Says:

With ME13, it’s all about routes and timing. If the ball’s not where it’s supposed to be, or Evans isn’t where he’s supposed to be, it’s incomplete. However, AB has an uncanny knack of adjusting to the ball if it’s off target and will often break off routes when Brady moves out of the pocket. He will make the adjustments needed to complete the pass. He’s just more shifty than Evans. On the other hand if it’s a contested ball, more than likely Evans will outman the DB and come down with the ball.

  8. Marine Buc Says:

This sucks. Our offense is so hard to stop when Evans, Godwin and AB are on the field together. Taking AB out of the equation is not good…

This is also why they probably got Mickens back on the roster so quickly.

  9. TampabayDJ82 Says:

I’ve seen Evans running open at least 3 times a game. The other times he has 3 guys running with him

  10. Chris Says:

Damn we need u but gronk be back soon turn up

    FAKE NEWS

  12. Listnfrmafar Says:

I hope so Buckaroo, look for a lot of Gio this week. Defense needs to step up against the rookie QB. Didn’t do so well last time.

  13. DaBux Says:

Miller Time deserves one more shot. Preferably Jack Daniels.

  14. Eric Brierton Says:

AB is def our #1 keep feeding him the ball!!!

  15. Swampbuc Says:

AB will be on the field Sunday. He could hop on one leg and lose a DB.

  16. Purplepirate Says:

Sprained his ankle a week ago and they’re just now noticing it? Weird.

  17. Paint em up Says:

AB fits the offense because he is capable of being slot, wide out or even a runner on a smoke play from scrimmage. Remember TB has had this luxury before with Edlemen. AB is shifty to be sure but, he has a rare ability to improvise his routes…similar to Tyreek Hill, Tyler Locket, Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs and a handful of others. But for TB to have weapons like Evans, Godwin and Gronk to throw to ( if Gronk is back) will suit him just fine. He is the GOAT and AB will be back in the mix in no time….sprained ankle or not he’s a baller and he has the tools to get open in the meantime Coach AB will come up with a game plan ( with some help)…TB!!!

Ankles heal .. tape it up..

This one sounds minor enough for Guerrero and tom to manage it.. lol

Dont worry bucs need to have less team against the nfl opponento if they goin into game full strength no one will bet. Sports is about betting an odds making, since ab an gronk sideline an weak secondary other team have a shot to put up points. Nfl hates blow out game they prefer close game to generate revenue, when u blow out a team in the first 2 quarter no one enjoy this. Brady know how sell attraction he been in the league 22 years he know what sell. Chicago jhas a rookie qb if bucs has weak wr core an weak seconday the line for game bucs by 3 instead of 14.

  20. FlaminTacoBoi Says:

With Evans, Godwin and Miller, I’m not worried.
