Age Is Just A Number For Tom Brady

October 26th, 2021

Crazy numbers for an old man.

Every once in a while, Joe will see a story comment complaining that too much is made of Tom Brady’s age.

Too much? Joe thinks it’s not enough!

What Brady is doing as a middle-aged man in a sport for young men is mindblowing. Five years ago if you said a guy on the wrong side of 44 is among the statistical leaders for NFL quarterbacks, people would have been checking you for a fever.

Joe had to look twice at this tweet sent out by Andrew Holman of the Bucs’ media relations staff. This is absolutely groundbreaking territory.

The way Brady is throwing the ball, there is no doubt the Bucs should want to extend his contract beyond the 2022 season when it expires.

This guy is an alien, man.

TB12 was great w/ the Mannings last night. 40min on-air time

  2. Bird Says:

    Google or you tube :

Middle aged man and mike myers. Thats what article made me think of . Back when SNL was funny.

Anyway , those stats are ridiculous
Brady has weapons like he has never had before. Even that pats randy moss team , you could argue bucs have more weapons

Now just hope we have all (gronk and AB) back for saints cause we will need them. Lattimore will handle evans and they will double (safety) godwin so need AB to blow up. Wasnt AB ‘s first game as buc vs saints at home last year and then he missed playoffs game ? Of course AB not in opener against saints last year as not on team.

That throw to Evans was a thing of beauty….

  4. ocala Says:

It is incredible what he is doing, but I think the subject of his age is talked about ad nauseam.

  5. orlbucfan Says:

Sean Payton will have plenty of tricks and the refs in his pocket. Bank on it as all long-time Bucs fans know. Sure wish I could listen to the rap between Sherman, Bowles, and the Defense this week. Offense will be ready. Game is in NOLA on Halloween. How ironic is that? HooDoo city, here we come.

  6. Listnfrmafar Says:

Guys Payton is going to watch the Patriots game 50 times to slow down the offense. FYI, Adam’s for GB on covid list, so much for knocking AZ off.

  7. AMI_Chris Says:

And the best stat of all: 6-1.

  8. Youngbucs Says:

And you still have fools who deny his greatness bunch of losers.

  9. Hawk Says:

While the rest of us are parked in Goofy and Minnie, Brady is parked in Roswell.

  10. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Even WITH Adams, no way is Green Bay about to knock off Arizona, especially with Arizona at home.
The Saints just are not the same team w/o Drew Brees. They barely beat Seattle last night.

  11. Darin Says:

Ocala. Dont get too nauseous he’s not getting younger. Gona be talked about way more in years to come

  12. Beeej Says:

If we hadn’t done that stupid hail Mary before halftime, he would have the BEST TD to interception ratio

  13. Pigsueybucsfan Says:

Jameis looked terrible last night but Geno Smith looked even worse. Deer in the head lights look, couldn’t even get a play called without a delay of game called at least twice. TB will not let that happen . Look for Buc s to roll !

  14. Bucsfanman Says:

He just keeps playing at a HOF level. Right now, there is no record safe. Who will come near this?

His age DOES matter!! I played football from 8 years old all the way through college… I tore my acl and icl and was never the same… I am 44 now and although I work a “normal” job now and don’t work out daily or have million dollar staff to keep me in shape, I can say with certainty that there’s no flipping way I could take hits from a 290 pound lineman these days and pop right back up to do it again!! … Brady does play QB and is excellent at not getting hit a lot but still it’s truly a feat to behold!! I’m starting to see a little decline and his passes are starting to sail on him a little sometimes and I would be screaming not to have him throwing the ball 45 times a game if I had any say in it… But all in all dude is unreal how well he’s still playing!! I have no problem admitting that I’m 99.9% sure I couldn’t do it anymore!!
