How Bucs Help Tom Brady Find Wide Open Areas To Hit Receivers

September 25th, 2021

Easy pickings.

When you have a quarterback some refer to as a farm animal surrounded by some of the best talent in the NFL, an offense is bound to be good.

But what makes the Bucs (averaging 39 points a game) extra special for salad-bar-hating, park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady?

Adding talent to excellent play design for a downright lethal offense.

In the fantastic BSPN “NFL Matchup,” Matt Bowen demonstrates how the Bucs craft pass routes using so many talented skill position players as decoys to draw defenders all over the field. This gives receivers wide@ss open areas to exploit.

And for a guy like Brady, it’s shooting fish in barrel.

Enjoy this breakdown by Bowen.

Nice breakdown. Will be interesting to see if Ramsey shades Evans all game or if he pulls off to cover Godwin on occasion. And I wonder how that influences Brady or if he simply goes to the open man every time. Probably the latter.

Its like a video on how to create a Rembrant. Just a thing of beauty. What a time to be a Buc fan!!

108 words without Joe’s useless comments and 151 with, sad Joe needs this to fill in the blanks. Should be the best offense that ever played the game.

  4. Swampbuc Says:

Consonant boy, what are you babbling about? Did you use an abacus for those character counts?

  5. godlovesbucs Says:

I don’t think Ramsey will only cover Evans. I would expect them to have him cover gronk some too.

Swampbuc.. lmao that was nice 🤣.. people just gotta let it go. It’s Joe’s website, he can damn well do what he wants.

Hey just because it’s Joe’s website doesn’t mean he has to be a jerk. GO BUCS!

    useless commentary from you buddy

the only complaint I have about Joes site, is that me–who has never done anything wrong on this site–is in constant moderation.

Joe! love this breakdown–good stuff wish the NFL would have a show based on breaking down plays and schemes and coverages etc–would love that.

  10. CJBuc Says:

I must’ve missed the salad bar thing. Why does he hate them? Lol

  11. firethecannons Says:

CJ Buc he hates the fact that the stuff is not fresh and likely contaminated with germs from multiple different routes I don’t think that he would trust the vegetables are washed well and they do not use organic anything and have cheap salad dressing.

  12. ir8oldman Says:

You can always tell by these comments who’s stiff in all the wrong places.. It’s his website. You don’t hafta look, but you peek anyway. Why? Because it is better than watching the news.

    Less belly-aching, more football.

  13. Swampbuc Says:

Consonant Boy’s football knowledge is roughly on par with an overripe cantaloupe. But, yeah.

  14. David Says:

Beautiful execution. Although I would’ve liked to see Brown continue deep. If that safety goes quicker towards Godwin’s zone Brady would have Brown one on one deep

  15. Oneilbuc Says:

I told yall Brady don’t play defense !!!
