The best receiver in Buccaneers history was among the featured speakers on the glorious America’s Game feature by NFL Films on the 2020 Buccaneers. It debuted Wednesday on NFL Network.
Of course, that’s Mike Evans, who in a reflective chat said of Buccaneers savior linebacker Devin White: “He loves football more than anyone I’ve seen.”
Think about that gem of a statement from Evans and who he has played with in Tampa, forgetting for a moment his trips to the Pro Bowl and elite opponents.
Joe will spit out some names: Tom Brady, Antonio Brown, Jameis Winston, Kwon Alexander, Gerald McCoy, Chris Godwin, Josh McCown, Lavonte David, Chris Conte and so many members of the 2020 Bucs, as well as Austin Seferian-Jackwagon. (Yeah, Joe had a little fun in there.)
But in all seriousness, that was quite a take from Evans about a guy who just finished his second season.

The football gods have finally blessed this team. Nothing better than hearing that about a player. Vea, White and Winfield make for a bright future on defense. Brady’s playing till 50. So all is good 😁

A play easily missed in the Dallas game (because of all the others) was when Devin White took down Zeke just short of a first down in the open field…….a true grizzly tackle……totally manhandled him.
Now, that is loving football!!!

IMO, Devin White is the best inside LB in the NFL. I love watching him play with so much energy and passion. I also lkve his smack talk to opponents. Due is a stud!!!

Did anyone notice that White missed a tackle on the Cowboys last pass play before the late FG that gave them the lead? Made it 5 years close for Zeurlein.

The defense needs work starting with Todd Bowles and film study–my bet is they are on it and turn it around. It may take some time–may not be a quick fix. Wish JL could get us another corner free agency? is Sherman available? worth it?

No one loves football more than Brady. Come on, but this is good to hear.Buc fan since the beginning. Born and raised in Sulpher Springs and this is finally the best it could be. The best it could be.
