Antonio Brown On COVID List

September 22nd, 2021

The Sickness hits hard.

Sobering news as the Bucs prepare to play perhaps their most important game of the regular season.

Per Adam Schefter of BSPN, the Bucs today placed furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing receiver Antonio Brown on the COVID list.

This, however, doesn’t mean Brown is out for Sunday’s game at the Rams. Here is a breakdown on what Brown has to accomplish in order to be active, per SB Nation:

If a vaccinated player tests positive for COVID-19

That player must isolate immediately but is eligible to rejoin the team if he remains symptom free AND has two negative tests 24 hours apart. In other words, they could theoretically rejoin the team as soon as 48 hours after testing positive.

However, if experiencing symptoms, the player must remain in isolation until he returns two negative tests AND is asymptomatic for 48 hours.

If a vaccinated player has a close contact with a COVID-19 positive person

That player will be tested for COVID-19, but will not be forced to isolate, as long as their test comes back negative and they are not displaying any symptoms. This is the case even if the contact is considered “high risk.” For the next five days, though, they will have to test daily and wear a mask at the facility.

Cross your fingers, Bucs fans. The Bucs will need Brown Sunday.

Joe is confident Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians will have something to say about this transaction when he is scheduled to speak with the local pen and mic club at 1 p.m.

    God Dammitt

  2. WalkdaPlank Says:

Next man up! Scotty Miller! Lol

  3. Buc50 Says:

Scotty Miller ain’t Antonio Brown. This will hurt the WR group.

  4. 163doubleplay Says:

Get some rest AB, drink a lot of water, take your multi-vitamins, sleep early and see you back on sunday. GO BUCS!! 🙂

  5. WalkdaPlank Says:

    Buc50

    It was a joke

  6. Chuckstutz Says:

I was worried before this. Damn.

  7. Medicated Pete Says:

Jalen Ramsey will shut down Mike Evans. We’re in trouble

  8. Robert Says:

    We’ll be fine.

They should have him playing CB at this point anyway.

Let Scotty get his reps, ME will get his stats, CG will be CG and we still have Gronk, OJ and TJ….TB has plenty of weapons.

If anything maybe ME will show up again.

  9. Mike Says:

As good as AB is, Bucs can still get it done without him. Perhaps an opportunity for one of the other young WR’s like Darden or Johnson to get some looks.

  10. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Let’s hope Godwin doesn’t get the dropsies again

  11. fern Says:

    Everyone needs to calm down
The rams are susceptible to the run.
Maybe we slow the game down a bit.

  12. Bella R Moore Says:

he should take the drug that won the noble prize in 2015

  13. crazyBucs_CL Says:

this is so discouraging. C-19 is treated as “concussion protocol”. What is next, you getting disability if you get C-19??
You tell them to get vaccinated, they go 100% YES, and now they don’t even fill sick, you test them anyway, and there you go….. isolation. So sad, so messed up.
Where this is going to end up, no one knows.

  14. Youngbucs Says:

    Miller Time!!!

  15. @MidAtlanticBucsFan Says:

I think the Bucs will be fine… This will provide Scotty Miller, Tyler Johnson, and OJ Howard more opportunities to make plays (if AB is in fact ruled out due to Reserve/COVID designation). We can also count on a rebound game from Fournette/Rojo/Bernard, since the Rams have a terrible run defense. Plus – I think the Bucs are counting on pill-popping, Natty-Boh-binge-drinking, incessant-commenting, Rojo-peeved Medicated Pete to lace the Rams locker-room with sleeping pills early Sunday morning.

Stay tuned and get your popcorn ready, Joe!

  16. Brandon Says:

He’ll be fine and he probably isn’t even sick. CDC recently released info showing that of all deaths, AVERAGE comorbidities was FOUR! Only FIVE percent of all deaths had ZERO comorbidities… that’s about 30k in nearly two years… factor in age and Brown will probably have ZERO effects from this and be ready to go next week at the latest and has a good shot for Sunday.

  17. SlyPirate Says:

Worry when it’s time to worry.

AB could be cleared Friday or Saturday.

  18. Joe in Michigan Says:

Not-Medicated-Enough-Pete is having a hissy fit. Crying will do you no good. This is why the Bucs have a deep receiving group.
Stop with the “AB to play CB” nonsense. Not happening.

  19. Rick Says:

I thought there was a vaccine for this. So confusing.

  20. Ocala Says:

AB was doing a pool workout yesterday.
I’m surprised he tested positive for the virus from China

  21. Medicated Pete Says:

Bucs are SCREWED b/c Mike Evans can’t get open vs a half way decent Cornerback

  22. SOEbuc Says:

Are you ppl out of your minds talking about Scotty? Have you ever seen him break off a decent route? Me neither. I love the one trick he does down field, but that’s it. TJ all day if AB is out.

  23. HeyItsAdam Says:

    “Vaccinated.”

  24. Darin Says:

Buc50. They’ll be fine. He might not make it through the season anyway his fuse is burning down. Brady will be fine with whoever plays

  25. All lives matter Says:

I’m more worried about our secondary than missing Brown for a game.

  26. SufferingSince76 Says:

Okay, Pete. Now you’re just writing nonsense.

  27. zzbuc Says:

Scotty Miller is an extraordinary replacement!!! Thg god is a WR, where we have plenty of depth…….We would have been in much more trouble if it was on other positions……..And I don´t wanna even say in wich position is the scariest!!!

  28. Robert Says:

    you got it Brandon!

my family got the jab, because they’ll make it mandatory, followed up by the bill gates chip implant so we won’t need a vaccine card. Combined with those and the IRS having access to all bank accounts we will need to live like Ted Bundy to not be controlled by THE MAN.

and THE MAN is already in bed with the globalists. the end is nigh.

carry on about your day….it can’t be stopped. REPENT!

  29. Robert Says:

live like John Kaczynski—–guess I have my crazies confused…

  30. David Says:

Relax people. They still have Evans, Godwin, Johnson, Miller… Maybe we will see Darden get a WR screen pass.
And let’s not count out Gronk, Brate, and OJ.

Losing any of the big names hurts, but The receiving car is the deepest one of the team, they will be fine.

I’m not worried about the offense, they will get over 30.
I want to see pressure and tight coverage on the defensive side.
Stafford is not mobile but he can be deadly

  31. Buc50 Says:

Sorry @WalkdaPlank not meant to be rude. I just want us to be at full strength facing the Rams. I think they may be the biggest test in the NFC for us right now. Maybe Darden gets activated this Sunday if AB can’t make the trip. At least BA gave us an extra day to figure it out.

  32. mark2001 Says:

Pete…it is called “breakthrough infection”….this Delta variant is more problematic that the original. The vaccination will likely only keep him out of the hospital and increase his chance of clearing it in time for the game.

  33. mark2001 Says:

Sorry Pete.. the explanation was for Rick, who seems to not be keeping up with the recent Covid news. So I got him up to speed.

  34. Rotten Amiigo Says:

I feel like this actually works In tampas favor. I feel like we see this team again in the playoffs. Next time with a healthy AB

  35. Bucshot Says:

    Run Lenny Run………………..

  36. Cobraboy Says:

Actually, Loyal Comrade Mark, the EGT is ONLY effective against the alpha because that was the DNA code it was designed for. No go against Delta as the world has seen…so these are not “breakthroughs” at all, but a new strain altogether.

Additionally, the delta “variant” while supposedly “more transmittable” is far less virulent, so it is a false statement to say the vaxxx for alpha does anything to reduce the nature of any variant…especially since Delta has far fewer negative consequences than the alpha.

No virus on the planet has ever varied into a more virulent variant. That is contrary to how viruses evolve.

In the meantime, Israel—one of the most EGT’d closed societies on the planet—is now mandating a FOURTH clot shot in the face of a huge “spike” in “cases.” Just like Vermont, the most EGT’d state in the US is having a huge spike in “cases”…but no clot shot #4.

All this from the first world while poor Uttar Pradesh province in India, pop. 241 MILLION including Mumbai, with only 5% of the population EGT’s, recently implemented a comprehensive, required protocol if that “horse dewormer” and vitamin/zinc supplements, and wiped out 97% of their covid “cases.”

In fact, the Indian Bar Association has sued the WHO Chief Scientist Mucky-Muck on May 25, accusing her in a 71-point brief of causing the deaths of Indian citizens by misleading them about Ivermectin.

Fact is, that “horse dewormer” saved that province from massive unneeded health destruction.

All that said, I am sure you, as the #1 all-in consumer of MSM state-directed official narrative news, know that based on the Uttar Pradesh Ivermectin Miracle, El Salvador is now implementing the same policy, giving EVERY person in the country a “kit” in a bag that consists of ivermectin, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D3 and magnesium. Wanna bet in a month or so their “cases” also drop 97%?

Or is actual science and concern of people over Big Pharma and Big Gubmint Health now inop in the progosphere?

  37. Cobraboy Says:

Interesting stat: more children have been shot in Chicago this year (302) than kids under 17 have died from the WuFlu nationally (214).

I read a study that showed that 12% of Republicans think a covid diagnosis based on the PCR leads to hospitalization and death, while 75% of Democrats think the same.

The actual number is less than 1%.

    Enjoy the fear pron.

  38. adam from ny Says:

what do we have all this receiver depth for???

    we will soon find out…

maybe cam has a breakout game…

    people are sleeping on cam

  39. Rod Munch Says:

Every COVID story comments I’m reminded of the Internet’s first meme, from 1996 or so…

Arguing on the internet is like the special Olympics.
Even if you win, you’re still….

It’s a complete waste of time. The pro-vax fascists are going never going to give up their power, because that’s what drives them, they’re the same people that were hall monitors in school, they want to be able to yell at random people and control their behavior. They don’t care if people live or die, they just want control. It’s why they never talk about natural immunity, because that is outside of their control – but forcing you to get a new vaccine every 6 weeks, now that IS control. Getting you fired from your job, that IS control. Saying the unvaxxed should be denied healthcare, that IS control, and that’s all fascists, who by the way were socialists, are all about.

Meanwhile the anti-vax nutjobs are going to repeatedly quote from every random Twitter video they run across if they think it makes a point that vaccines are bad – regardless of if it’s true or not. They’re also going to say you’re free to do what you want, while constantly harassing anyone who does get the vaccine and actively cheering anyone that doesn’t. The dummies will also repeatedly quote the VAERS database, while knowing for a fact that it doesn’t show deaths from the vaccine – but they’ll repeat that number anyways (btw, even if the number was true it would still mean the vaccine is saving about 1000 lives per fake news death).

To be clear, I hate the anti-vaxxers a lot less since while they may be annoying, they’re not actually attempting to control my life like the pro-vax fascists.

Fact is, the Trump vaccine saved millions of lives worldwide. Fact is, the Trump vaccine should be one of many solutions with the virus, and anyone excluding natural immunity is a fake news hack (that means Fauci, to be clear). COVID is real, it almost certainly leaked from a Chinese lab, funded in part by Fauci, and if that can be proved, everyone involved should face trial. IF it’s true and can be proved – that is important, I say almost certainly – that does not mean it IS a fact.

Personally I got the Trump vaccine, and NO, I’m not showing my papers because some fascist demands it, and NO I’m not wearing a mask, because the vaccine works and I don’t need to wear a mask because of that.

If you’re double vaxxed, on the waiting list for your triple vaxxed, wear 10 masks when you go out and still scared, then you’re an idiot. If you’re quoting some ‘doctor’ on Twitter telling you the vaccine is killing tens of thousands and you believe that, then you’re an idiot.

The moral of the story, is that you’re an idiot. Not me, YOU. Yes, YOU!

  40. Pewter941 Says:

I guess we’ll probably see Darden this week finally.

  41. Capt.Tim Says:

    Damn it.
    Ramsey is great.
Leaves a CB and Safety on Godwin.
Nobody can cover all 3. Brown is the best WR. Hes the guy the Falcons focused on.
We will have to over work Gronk. Hate that. We need to keep him right for the playoffs.
Brate and our RBs really need to do their part.

    Damn it

  42. JimmyJack Says:

This is just ridicilous. Theres a vaccine avialable to all, there is no reason to not be back to normal. Its gone beyond overboard……..and if you are scared to go back to normal theres more then one solution that doesnt involve controlling others.

And theres no way people who dint want vaccine are going to trust it if they cant live normal after getting it.

  43. SteelStudBuc Says:

    🤡 🌎

This is getting ridiculous and makes no sense

  44. Marine Buc Says:

But I heard the Bucs were 100% vaccinated… What happened?

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  45. jerk04 Says:

Cobraboy is my new favorite person on this site!!!

  46. Cobraboy Says:

@Rod: quoting accurate numbers and studies is NOT being an “anti-vaxxx nutjob.”

It’s part of being an infomaniac with a well-earned, healthy distrust of official gubmint narratives.

Go ask the citizens of Israel and Vermont—to name just two—how well the clot shots worked for “getting back to normal.” Go ask the citizens of Uttar Pradesh about “horse dewormers.”

  47. Listnfrmafar Says:

Relax, did we really think Bucs would be at full strength all season. If he plays he plays if he doesn’t, Mark2001 let’s see what the awesome coaching staff can do.

  49. BradentuckeyBuc Says:

This whole thread needs to be “dewormed!”

  50. ClodHopper Says:

Testing vaccinating people is stupid. When 100% of the team is vaccinated, the probability of someone having even moderate complication’s is almost zero. Spreading it amongst vaccinated people is ideal anyways. Stop The Madness!!

  51. ClodHopper Says:

    Steven

Don’t forget the Clod hopper lol.

  52. Steven007 Says:

Clod, My sincerest apologies! You may well be my favorite Cobra fan, haha.

  53. Cobraboy Says:

Remember when the Garden Gnome wanted the college football season canceled, or at least only attended by The Noble Vaxxxinated™, because you know, “superspreader” or something dire…

    Well, according to Clay Travis:

In the two weeks since college football kicked off & Fauci said packed stadiums would be superspreaders cases are down 44% in Florida, 43% in Tennessee, 35% in Georgia, 32% in South Carolina, 30% in Mississippi, 22% in Arkansas, 23% in Bama, & 9% in Texas. Every SEC state is down

Has the Gnome ever been correct about ANYTHING…but Big Profits for Big Pharma?

  58. Lets Roll Says:

    @gp, excellent observations

    Touché?????

  59. gp Says:

    @Lets Roll
Some people have a need to compensate.
Telling stories about themselves in an anonymous blog such as how many degree’s they hold, or how much their house is worth, or baldly stating that they are an expert in the subject at hand, are all forms of ‘compensation’.
Much like the 5’9” dude with pale skin and a pot belly driving a King Ranch with horns on the hood and a sack hanging from the hitch.
Such people are incapable of handling a Cobra which means that the driver of said Cobra is rarely one who needs to “compensate”

  62. Cobraboy Says:

@gp: once you get snake bit, there is nothing that can get you unbit.

There is something very primordial about massive ohv V-8 pure grunt in a tiny light chassis that will change a guy’s reason for living forever. Stereo high compression explosions 3 feet from one ear and 6 feet from another causes massive afrenalin-like testosterone injection into your bloodstream and causes panties in the shotgun seat to vanish into the wind.

My Neanderthal forebears tried to domesticate mastodons. Today we try domesicating a big block Cobra. With similar results.

Not for everybody. But neither is a Prius.

  63. gp Says:

    What’sa prius? LOL

Riding the bike is a close second. Especially when your lady knows how to hold the saddle horn to stay on the back.

  64. Cobraboy Says:

@gp: yeah, to the bikes. I’ve been scootin’ for 53 years now since Dad CB brought home that 1967 Yamaha YDS-3 and said “Son, no more borrowing the family sled for your babely shenanigans.” I think he was going I’d die on that thing, and on a few occasions, he almost got that wish. Back then there were no innerweb tutorials or MSF. Just Darwin, and he can be an unforgiving instructor.

I recently had the pleasure of riding for four days with Claudio von Planta here in the DR. Hardcore’s know who that is from the Long Way Round/Down’Up series. Claudio is going to shoot and direct our moto adventure documentary. Great guy and a smooth rider. 100,000 miles in 44 countries will do that to you.
