How Far The Bucs Have Come

August 26th, 2021

“Tom, you believe just a handful of years ago the Bucs had a coach so awful they couldn’t win a home game?”

A guy that goes by the Twitter handle of “I am only 3 years older than Tom Brady” unearthed a jarring fact about the Bucs that just a few years ago was absolutely unthinkable.

In fact, if you tried to push the following as legitimate as recently as last summer, people would try to have you institutionalized. It demonstrates just how far the Bucs have come from being the pooper scooper of the NFL to elite damn near overnight.

The Bucs, per the famed Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas, are favored in all but one regular season game.

Remember, this team couldn’t even find its way to a winning record at home before last year, and that was with weather allegedly a major homefield advantage — which some really bad Bucs coaches tried to use as a natural weapon but instead got punched in the mouth by visiting teams.

The Bucs are favored by the Vegas wiseguys in all but one game, at the Rams? These are truly drunken times to be a Bucs fan.

That “overnight” reference Joe made? Think about it: It came on March 17, 2020. The day a leprechaun found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow in park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

Why are World Champions an underdog to a team with a QB that that has not played a down with the Rams? Sorry do not buy it.
    GO BUCS!!!

Why is it that not one supposed NFL expert has mentioned that Matthew Stafford hasn’t finished a season in the passed 2 years. The man broke his back 2 years ago and they just gloss over that. Stafford is likely to look really good and then get injured in about week 4.

Rams just traded for Sony Michel

They are a really good football team. They have stafford. Dude can ball. He just struggles to stay healthy. They are biggest threat to bucs in NFC in my opinion.

With Fragile Stafford? And that head case Head Coach? I’d bet the house on the Bucs. They are still wincing from D.Smith knocking Marcus Peters into the next week.

So many years where we wore white during Sept and Oct, only to have teams wearing dark jerseys come in and kick our a$$e$. Hmmm, maybe it’s more about the quality of the team?

    I love Montana

It’s something hard I think for many Bucs fans to accept. Bad for so long then such a quick turnaround and championship. Hard to believe, but all Bucs fans have to accept the fact that we’re in position to be a great football team for a long time, even post Brady. Fantastic days being a Bucs fan!!!
