Tom Brady’s Accuracy Or Computer Trickery

July 26th, 2021

Trick shots or con job?

At first this looked insane. But after watching this video a couple of times, it sure seems doctored.

Park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, Bucs-Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady was showing off his famed accuracy in a video he pumped out on Twitter and other social media platforms.

It is impressive. Brady throws at a JUGS gun and the ball lands right between the tires used to launch the ball. Then the machine rifles the ball right back to Brady a few times.

What tipped Joe off is that Brady supposedly knocked the JUGS gun down with one of his passes. Joe’s not even sure that would happen with a pass from John Elway or Brett Favre. Those things are damn sturdy and from the angle Brady hit (?) the machine, well, Joe has never seen one of those things fall that easily.

Joe has a very strong hunch this is computer-generated imagery. But man, is it getting a lot of run on social media.

Remember, just before he signed with the Bucs last year, Brady launched his own Hollywood film production company.

totally real. you can see that it moves a bit in every throw. third one caught some wind.

  2. Tom Says:

He got 7 rings to prove it. Mr. Winner.

  3. Tom Says:

    Wow.

  4. Rod Munch Says:

The thing is moving on the 2nd throw – I think they just set it up off balance, like when you setup a tripod with the legs too close and it makes it easy to tip. That would be my guess if it’s real.

But as a 25+ year internet veteran, I will always fall back on what was common knowledge back in the mid-90s… never believe anything you read or see on the internet. Always assume everything, and everyone, is fake until it’s proven true.

  5. Buczilla Says:

I’m not putting nothing past this dude.

  6. James Says:

It is real, the machine is top heavy. Might have taken a few takes though.

  7. PSL Bob Says:

It’s likely doctored. As per Sports Illustrated (posted yesterday), “Brady tagged Ari Fararooy, a videographer, on Instagram with the post…” and Fararooy credited himself as director and responsible for video effects. Fararooy credited Warm & Fuzzy for the CGI and tagged Shadow Lion, Brady’s off-the-field media org as the producer. Nevertheless, very impressive.

Yeah, it’s definitely doctored. He had a vid awhile back where he throws the ball up to the moon…

  13. SlyPirate Says:

    It’s fun. Don’t overthink it.

  14. Bucsfanman Says:

If Uncle Rico can “throw a football over them mountains”, Brady can throw passes to feed the JUGS machine! 🙂

  15. TheShaz Says:

If it were Jameis. The ball would have gone thru one of the windows.

  16. Kentucky Buc Says:

It’s real. Next vid Brady throws at a floating juggs machine while walking on water.
