Report: Tom Brady Played With Serious Injury

July 15th, 2021

Another chapter.

The legend of Tom Brady grows.

It seems the Bucs quarterback put the team on his back and carried them to a Super Bowl win. On one leg.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Brady, 43, played the entire 2020 championship season on a fully torn MCL.

The belief is Brady injured his knee in a non-contact drill away from One Buc Palace.

What blows Joe away is Brady did this without ever waking around with a noticeable limp. This blows Joe’s mind.

Oh, and now Brady is healthy. Watch out NFL!

  1. Medicated Pete Says:

    I played w/ a sprained gizzard once

  2. Buc50 Says:

If you have the acceleration of a Mack Truck and the lateral movement of a turtle, the MCL doesn’t get much of a work. He’s definitely not Cadillac Williams. He throws a great ball and reads defenses though.

  3. mg Says:

pulled a groin, it was career ending…

  4. PassingThru Says:

Crazy, a complete tear of the MCL and yet he played through the season and postseason. There was obviously both pain and instability.

  5. mark2001 Says:

Brady’s plant leg, wasn’t it? Maybe that explains a couple of those passes against Green Bay.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I guess “non contact drill” leaves interaction with Giselle out….

  7. Bucnjim Says:

Well just another example of in the field leadership! I can remember several ex players who would have been crying in front of the camera with the same injury but hey they always dressed well and smiled!

Every time I stub my pinky toe I’m done for at least a week

I broke the little toe on my left foot playing barefoot sandlot football 64 years ago. I still walk with a limp. Good bet that lot next to Madison Jr high isn’t vacant anymore.

Nothing like typing out a thoughtful and lucid comment here on Joebucsfan only to have it disappear after I hit submit comment.

  14. Stanglassman Says:

At least he didn’t have a broken thumb on his throwing hand too.

  15. Kentucky Buc Says:

  17. Youngbucs Says:

Like I’ve said all players play with injury’s and have surgeries we might not ever hear about. Some people here tried to use injury as another 1 of the excuses for you know who. If you’re that injured don’t play other wise produce!!! The 🐐Tom Brady don’t need your excuses win or lose!
