Where Is Tom Brady Ranked?

June 8th, 2021

Bucs QB Tom Brady.

So recently, prickly Pete Prisco of CBS Sports detailed his annual list that makes him a marked man.

Each summer Prisco publishes a Top-100 players list. Naturally, when you publish a list like that it’s bound to hack off a lot of people, as evidenced by Prisco’s Twitter feed. Prisco enjoys mixing it up with readers and this annual column gives him plenty of firewood to go after fans who critique his list, including coaches.

The third-best quarterback in the NFL, Prisco believes, is park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

The way Prisco weights quarterbacks, he has Brady ranked as his No. 4 player overall.

Those who doubt him learned another lesson last season: Stop it. He had some rough moments in November, but he was outstanding down the stretch and throughout the playoffs on the way to another Super Bowl victory. He’s the GOAT.

Prisco’s No. 1 player is Pat Mahomes, who the Bucs throttled in the Super Bowl. Joe is convinced Mahomes still wakes up in the middle of the night with the shivers from memories of Bucs sack king Shaq Barrett.

Either that, or Mahomes is having cold sweats remembering he bought a piece of the Kansas City Royals about a year ago.

August, I literally just skip that paragraph every time. I am indifferent to it, and find it funny how many people get bent out of shape about it lol. This website is my favorite source of Bucs info! People need to chill and if it really bothers them that much, learn to speed read lol.

I just wish the Joe’s would mark the moniker in red like they do Peter King’s long one as it is easier on my eyes to go down to the end of the moniker.

Anyone who gets excited or upset over this list needs to develop some perspective.

  7. Pete I Says:

I’ll take #4 on the list and the Lombardi Trophy thanks, and it isn’t just Barrett Mahomes should have night sweats over… both the starters and the backups were chasing him… It was Gholston who tripped him up on his famous horizontal throw.

  8. Bird Says:

But agree. This is hands down the best bucs site on the planet
    Not even close!

  9. Chesapeake Bay Bucco Says:

Pete Prisco? Who the hell is he and why do we care?

  10. Eddie Marz Says:

These rankings really mean nothing, like the fan said” I’ll take the fourth best ranking and a SUPER BOWL ring anyday. GO BUCS!

  11. Bucsfanman Says:

#4 on the list, #1 ALL TIME in the ‘win’ column!

  12. steve gaudreau Says:

Lol these people will never learn. In all the years Brady has been in the league I’ve never bet against him. Sure he’s lost a few but those 7 rings are proof enough for me. And truth be told when he took over for Drew Bledsoe, I was very very VERY skeptical about him and I was wrong but so was John Madden back in the Superbowl against the Rams greatest show on turf. D’oh!
