Enjoying The Fruits Of A Championship?

June 11th, 2021

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

So the Bucs, players and coaches, are done for offseason work. They left One Buc Palace yesterday and won’t be seen again until July 24 when training camp is expected to open.

Yes, Joe already covered the element where Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians said some Bucs players must show commitment to be in better shape.

This really stuck in Joe’s head and it made Joe wonder if Bucs coaches are realizing their worst fear: Some players have become complacent with being champions.

Arians has already spoken publicly about this and to his team, as well: Last season is over. They haven’t won a damn thing in 2021.

Even Arians confessed yesterday after underwear football that he hopes after the Bucs receive their Super Bowl rings late next month, that they will lock up their memories of the Super Bowl along with their rings — and lock in on the 2021 season.

So Joe wonders if the players Arians was sending a message to via the Fourth Estate know who they are? So much for summer vacation, men. Get your tails back in the gym.

BA seems to have the Midas touch. It’s a refreshing change from all of the facepalm-worthy actions of our previous FOUR head coaches.🍻

Of course they know who they are…..a player who hasn’t put in the work will be out of shape….and they know it….

It really depends on who these players are……and some players show up out of shape whether they won a superbowl or not.

Players show up out of shape every year. That’s part of the the reason for the mandatory minicamp: To remind them the season is around the corner.

These are professional athletes. They are freaks of nature physically. They can get in shape.
