Tom Brady’s 2020 Numbers Vs. His Career

May 21st, 2021

Improvement on fabulous 2020?

There is a reason so many people are like Joe and very bullish on the Bucs’ 2021 offense.

That would be because of park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

Last year, at the age of 43, Brady had one of his best seasons.

Brady was a future Hall of Fame quarterback long before he arrived, but what he did last year put Brady into another stratosphere, if there even was another one for Brady to reach.

A new team in the middle of a pandemic, new coaches, new players, a foreign playbook he didn’t master until the 12th game of the year, Brady put up crazy numbers.

Consider last year Brady threw for the fifth-highest passing yards (4,633) of his career, second-highest touchdowns (50), sixth-highest completion percentage (65.7), second-highest completions (401 was one shy of his career-high of 402), fifth-most first downs (233) and sixth-highest yards per game (289).

Oh, and then there was the Super Bowl MVP trophy, as the Bucs clobbered the Chiefs.

So unless Father Time all of a sudden taps on Brady’s shoulders or he gets hurt, it’s difficult to see Brady not being better this season with his entire offense returning.

But but but we all know he only did that because he had a defense and a run gm . Cry more losers with your loser mentality’s (oneilbucs).

  2. August 1976 Buc Says:

They show Toms total TDs for the season-Reg/Post, but then not his Total yards for Reg/Post He was at 5694 when you add 1061 to the Reg season. I believe that is also his second most yards in a Complete season Reg/Post for Tom.

“GO BUCS GO MR 7 RING GOAT TOM BRADY”

  3. August 1976 Buc Says:

50TDS and 5694 yards Let that sink in Noodle arm screamers lol lol GO BUCS!!!!!!

  4. Youngbucs Says:

Brady should’ve won mvp not enough respect!!! I know that sounds crazy but he’s making history we might not ever see again he’s 43 years old!!!!

  5. Mitch Says:

Arians just said that he plans to coach out his entire 5 year contract with the bucs, and will not retire if Brady retires.

  6. D-Rome Says:

This is the same Joe that wanted the Bucs to re-sign Jay-Miss. As far as I know he has yet to admit that Tom Brady is the greatest Bucs QB of all time

  7. sgrd0q Says:

Not too shabby, but this Bucs team is probably the best Brady has been on, except, maybe for the 2007 Patriots.

  8. Bird Says:

    Joe

Can we get a list of posters by their original names and current nAmes (cause they are scared) who called brady a bust at beginning of year

Ill try to find some dead crowd in my area to send out to the group if possible
    😂

  9. Medicated Pete Says:

I suspect this season, TB12 will try to get #13’s 1000yds outta the way early then go back to how he really wants to throw

  10. TOM Says:

    BRADY=GOAT

  11. August 1976 Buc Says:

lol Brady is a 7 RING GOAT, for all the GOAT wannabe’s out there, like say Aaron Rodgers or any other wannabe. Yeah many good players but just not a 7 RING GOAT lol lol lol GO BUCS!!!!! 20-0!!!

  12. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Thank you Bill Belichek for letting Brady walk.

  13. Show Me the TDs Says:

A LOT of these articles trigger deja vue…over and over again.

  14. Ben green Says:

They’d better run the ball. My fear is, now that BA has a ring, he’ll revert to his idiotic offense.

  15. SlyPirate Says:

Look at Tom’s production compared to the rest of the league.

    TB12 2020 Rankings:
    Yards – 3
    Completions – 2
    TDs – 2

Only Rogers had a slightly better season statistically.

  16. August 1976 Buc Says:

Sly those numbers add up to Brady being the MVP far and away. They beat Aaron Rodgers and the Pack twice and then win the SB. GO BUCS!!!

  17. Youngbucs Says:

Slypirate exactly my point but unlike Rogers he was on a new team with no off season no pre season. And barely knew the plays or his teammates he’s the true mvp last year oh I forgot 43 years old!!!

  18. DoooshLaRue Says:

Now that’s a sheet worth checking yo.

  19. Keir Says:

We won the equivalent of an NFL lottery ( in my mind ) when he picked Tampa Bay. I never imagined it would turn out as good as it did. Thank you Glazers for having great nucleus in place for him. This year I will treat each game as its own special holiday. Heck, my 80 year old Mom is going over for every game…everyone has Bucs fever now. Hoping I can get to just 1 game in person this year!

  20. GOATWatcher Says:

Yet Brady wasn’t named to the Pro bowl (for a record breaking 15th time), losing out to Kyle? What’s his name?

  21. Beeej Says:

I remember Peyton’s first season in Denver, he was about the top quarterback in the NFL. He continued that in the second season, and after 6 or 7 games something happened to it, I think he messed up his neck again he was never effective. I hope Brady doesn’t go that way

  22. DoooshLaRue Says:

    ^^^^
Durable Donnie better not let that happen.

  23. SlyPirate Says:

    August/Youngbucs … I agree 100%.

Tom took the Bucs to their first playoff game in 13 years. Rogers was in the NFC Championship the year before.

TB12 absolutely earned the MVP. I think a lot of voters wish they had that one back.

  24. EEK Says:

    SO SO GOOD
Is this a dream or what?
    How can this be happening?
Tom Brady plays QB for the Bucs!
    Amazing!

  25. BillyBucoff Says:

    50TDs???
    What are you smoking???

    Lol
I was thinking more like 60.

  26. Buckaroo Boozie Says:

Butt, Butt, Butt… Famous Jamis didn’t get arrested 🤣

  27. Big Mike Says:
