Bruce Arians Applauds ”Perfect” Bye

Hopefully the Bucs score two bye weeks this season, the one assigned by the NFL and the weekend of January 16, Round 1 of the playoffs.
It seems Bucco Bruce Arians has found the best way to get to the latter. After rookie minicamp practice today, Arians said he is ecstatic about a Week 9 bye.
Last year, Arians talked about how burned out the Bucs were by the time their bye arrived in Week 13.
“I thought it was a really good schedule. I mean, I’m not concerned with the L.A. to New England travel. We’ve done that in the past. But it’s a good break – Week 9 Bye. I thought it was perfect for us,” Arians said.
Arians added that he liked the five night games, noting that’s what world champs deserve.
As for winning night games, Arians said he thinks the Bucs have turned that corner. ”Hopefully we broke that cycle last year halfway through the season on being shi**y at night and got a little better at it.”
Joe loves the Week 9 bye. It’s nice timing to work out major issues if they arrive and can’t get corrected in the first half of the new 17-game season. If veterans need rest later in the season, then pound the snot out of weaker opponents and cut their snap totals.

Super bowl started 2 hours earlier than the usual night games and brady had 2 weeks to adust. He definitely had less fire in some of those night games

God forbid the NFL have a half time break and give all the teams off half way through the season.

It is way better to watch prime time games live here in the Philippines. Watching LIVE at 1am and 4am here on NFL Game Pass is not that great, much rather watch LIVE 8am Monday and Tuesday mornings, it is way easier lol GO WORLD CHAMPION BUCS!!!! 20-0 BABY!!!!

I agree. Need to make the adjustments sooner than week 13 this time. The early byes are the ones that arent so good
