Eli Manning Texts Tom Brady Props

April 3rd, 2021

Wasn’t making faces watching Bucs in 2020.

If park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, Bucs-Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady has a walking piece of kryptonite, its name is Eli Manning.

In the brilliant career of Brady, he has two dark blemishes on his otherwise sterling resume. And that is being 0-2 when he and the Belicheats faced Manning and the Giants in the Super Bowl.

So while the second-youngest of the passing Mannings — here comes Arch! — is retired from football, it doesn’t mean he isn’t watching.

And to see what Brady did with and for the Bucs blew Manning away, so he told Madelyn Burke of Sports Illustrated.

So after Brady and the Bucs pounded the Chiefs to win the Bucs’ second Super Bowl, Manning made sure to reach out and give his understudy props.

“Yeah, I sent Tom a text, just congratulating him and really just saying how not surprised, but impressed with what he was able to do this year with Tampa,” Manning said. “Changing teams, shortened season, lock out and pandemic and everything going on and to still learn a brand new offense and make those adjustments and go win a championship is pretty spectacular.”

Manning added that he wanted to make sure Brady knew how impressed he was with his job and that the rest of the quarterback community was equally moved by Brady’s job last season.

Joe doesn’t know if Brady can get a higher compliment. If a member of the Manning quarterback clan thinks his work in 2020 was “spectacular,” it doesn’t get much better than that.

If anyone doesn’t have respect for what Brady has accomplished, they’re ignorant. BTW, Does anybody know what “the realist”s new name is on this site?

The highest and most informed praise you can get, and should listen to, is from QB’s in this league who know the difficulty and work that it takes to go through everything Brady overcame to help us win. Not an Eli fan, but he’s not wrong.

I still find it hard to believe that Eli beat Brady in two Super Bowls.

OK fans this is where we separate on praise. I’ve been a Brady fan since his freshman yr at Mi. I wouldn’t get too horny listening to the rumbling bumbling stumbling Eli Manning. If you want to know how the giants, (not Eli) beat the Pats, you need to watch SB 55 and see what our defense did ti Mahomeboy. That’s what the Giants did to Tompa. He spent most of the game on his butt. Their offense? The Giants receivers looked like they were being attacked by a sworm of killer bees. The bees being the football. They had no choice but to catch the ball. they were being raped by the football. hahhahaha So please don’t put Eli in the same conversation with Tommy Boy. JMO

Dumbest move of the NFL this decade was the Patriots and Bill Belichick not resigning Brady.

There is so much contempt coming from the Manning clan, including Archie. They all think they’re better. Whatever. #EyesOn8
