“This Is What You Should Do As A Super Bowl Champ”

March 16th, 2021

Applauds Bucs’ moves.

It says something to Joe that a Chiefs honk is giving the Bucs props.

And that would be FS1 personality Nick Wright. A notorious Chiefs homer, Wright took to his hollering show “First Things First,” seen weekday mornings on FS1, to give the Bucs major props for keeping the Band of Bucs together (so far).

This, Wright said, is the first step in the Bucs returning to the Super Bowl.

“The Bucs are doing exactly what the Chiefs did last year,” Wright said. “They brought everyone back. … This is what you should do as a Super Bowl champ. Try to bring as many people back as you possibly can.”

Wright said the Bucs, if they knew now, that they would repeat the same 2020 regular season as the Chiefs had for 2021, the champaign bottles would be uncorked today at One Buc Palace.

The Chiefs last year were 14-1 with home field advantage locked up in the AFC playoffs before they sat their key starters in the final game to finish 14-2.

You can see Wright’s full take in the FS1 video below. It seems Wright is slightly irked that Arians doesn’t like the Chiefs’ term “run it back.”

Kelce said on Pat McAfee Show yesterday that Chiefs didn’t come to play in Superbowl & that’s why they lost

  3. Coburn Says:

Can’t possibly give the other team any credit right?

  4. TampaTown Says:

    Go for 2 sounds better

  5. Drunkinybor Says:

Didn’t come to play? Then what the hell were they doing there. That’s right up there as the weakest excuse ever. Those idiots really believed they were ordained to be a dynasty. What they thought just showing up and saying we’re the Chiefs. The Bucs would bend the knee and accept their new Lord’s. Hell naw!! Go Bucs, Chiefs got beat down, shut down, destroyed, embarrassed and they lost to a better team.

  6. Casual Observer Says:

The DL chasing Mahomes all over the field on nearly every play had something to do with it. Methinks.

  7. Kobe Faker Says:

    “Belicheck vs Brady

    LOL

Belicheck spending and going nuts like my girlfriend relapse on Meth

Brady made Belicheck look bad last year

all that spending and Belicheck still doesnt have a QB to throw the ball”

    Kobe Faker

  8. Rayjay1122 Says:

Well, if they do not come to play in SB LVI, we will destroy them 62 -3

  9. Chris Thomas from Heaven Says:

@Drunkinybor…exactly correct. Kelce came off bad yesterday & said he only became motivated to start learning how to block bcuz he was tired of people ripping on him

  10. Youngbucs Says:

I agree with Kobe faker no QB everything else is fluff.

  11. August 1976 Buc Says:

It is so funny how Nick Wright has been beaten into submission after his Chiefs got a “Curb Stompin-seal clubbin- nasty beatdown” by our beloved Bucs lol. All the negative points for years have been washed out of Nick’s mouth for now, lol He has been talking with a brain since the Super Bowl for the most part. Travis did admit about the loss that “it is what it is” really no way around it. So he knows that the world saw the Chiefs got an old fashioned whoopin. GO BUCS and DOMINATE 2021 NFL Season!!!!!

  12. geno711 Says:

Kobe Faker with a positive Buc post!
    WOW!

  13. Mort Says:

Still don’t care what Nick Wrong thinks about anything. He’s wrong about almost everything. He. Sucks.

  14. Bucsfanman Says:

“Chiefs ‘honk'”?! I see what you did there Joe!

  15. Winny Testaverde Says:

Nick Wrong ( nice Mort ) is still beating the drum for his Chiefs in a backdoor way…he’s more tired than Rip Van Winkle. As for Kelce…he “batted down” a key 3rd down pass early and only had garbage/fantasy yards after that. He aged 2-3 seasons in the Super Bowl.

  16. Curse of Gruden Says:

    Well said Winny….

  17. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

My woman friend can’t stand Nick Wright or Colin Cowherd. She does think Cowherd is kind of good looking, but she thinks Nick Wright is not only terrible, but ugly as fuk too.
Kelce is full of it. His team got their butts kicked.

  18. Jason Says:

I think the real reason the Chiefs lost is because they didn’t score as many points as we did. Of course I could be wrong. Lol.

  19. Buxszntkt Says:

Careful what you say about Nick Wright, I think he’s Osama Bin Laden’s cousin.

  20. BigMacAttack Says:

The Chiefs were ready. They tried their hardest. They were outplayed and outclassed but a tight hungry group that wanted it more. The Bucs peaked at the right time. That is how you fo it. Take notes Travis.

  21. Shecky Says:

Lesson to be learned about being too overconfident and optimistic. The Chiefs had a 14-1 record and were healthy and rested going into the postseason. They took care of business in the AFC then inexplicably got waxed in the SB. Much of that had to do with the Bucs of course but it was certainly a well-deserved “chickens before they’re hatched” moment for their fans.
