Tom Moore Explains All Tom Brady Talks About

February 18th, 2021

Offensive guru Tom Moore

Bucco Bruce Arians’ mentor and sounding board, 82 year old Bucs offensive consultant Tom Moore, is super hands-on with the Tampa Bay offense and Tom Brady.

Moore even works his own gameplan each week and turns it over for offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich to review.

Many NFL fans are aware that Moore was once Peyton Manning’s playcaller with the Colts, and Moore was asked to compare Brady and Manning this week on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

It was an easy call for Moore, whose answer referenced a Brady obsession.

“I always hear that story about you don’t want to start kids too early [in football because] you’ll burn them out,” Moore begain. “You won’t burn them out if they truly love the game. And nobody loves it more than [Brady and Manning]. You know, here’s Tom. He’s 43 years old, but he still wants to get better, and that’s all he talks about is getting better. And that’s what Peyton did, too.”

It’s interesting to hear Moore talk about Brady being so hungry to improve personally — as so many Bucs and team officials talk about how hungry Brady is to make everyone around him better and bring them football glory. He really is football’s Superman.

I was skeptical when we first made the deal to go with Brady. I was excited but concerned it might not work out well. Damn was this year a fun ride. I watched a YouTube 2 hour video last night recapping the season with highlights as well as talking heads before and during the season into the playoffs doubting the Bucs and Tom Brady. Was so cool to watch them eat crow. Do yourselves a favor and watch it. As a Bucs fan I can’t get enough of this stuff and that video was excellent.

Coach was on the herd today. He said people saying they’re not running the same offense don’t know what the talking about. He said put on the film it’s the same plays all the way back to when he coached in Pittsburgh.

He’s the GOAT on many levels. I’m so glad he chose to come to Tampa. We were primed for the glory. It’s like Tom said. Listen Bucs fans you’ve suffered long enough. Nearly 2 decades. Lets go win the Super Bowl! LFG!

Bucs defense ended up winning the SB. How come it’s all this Brady hot air, over and over again? Football ain’t a one guy deal, last time I looked.

How was Cabo? Hotels, were they mostly empty? Restaurants?
I’m asking because of a biz op and any firsthand bucs fan knowledge is helpful.

    Thanks, glad you had fun.

  16. Bird Says:

I love the posters that dont like brady getting credit for the bucs super bowl!
Of course the team balled out this year and in the playoffs. We have a ton of studs on this team :godwin , evAns , marpet , wirfs , jensen, suhy, shaq , jpp, vea, gronk , brady, lavonte , white , winfield and davis.

And guess what every single one of those players listed above said….they credited brady with giving team their swag…they began to believe they would win games. Even when down by 17 at half.

Every coaches said the same thing…even the defensive coaches

Yet we got guys on here who dont think that. You know the internet warriors on here.

The bucs were the losing (est) franchise in all 4 major sports. In one year under brady ,he goes to his 10 th super bowl and bucs win. His 7th ring. More then any franchise. More then double any qb. He is the goat

Even lebron and ex nfl greats call him the goat

And guess what …without brady , there is no AB , fournette, gronk ,shady and guess what. No jpp and no suh. Shaq was not a fan of the former qb either. Almost every point scored in super bowl were by guys here cause of brady. And we cant sign all our studs. But guess what , they will be replaced with other studs cause of what other players just witnesses this season. The boat parade was lit. Other players at home in 3 feet of snow watching bucs living it up in sunny tAmpa

Keep calling him a cheater , overrated , not worthy of praise. Ifs hilarious
The messiah cult is strong on here.
And i was not a brady fan before bucs …only because him and pats won everything. But i knew , when we got him that they would make playoffs. I never thought super bowl until end of season when things started clicking
But how could he not take this team to another level

So again to the haters. Its awesome. Most are the same people who only wanted to talk strictly about jameis- one player. A guy who didnt win half his games. But he threw for big yards. And he turned it over 35 times last year. He sat out a year , and i think he still leads the league in turnovers since the year of his draft
    😂

  17. Oneilbucs Says:

Youngbucs lol lol lol 😁😁😆🤣 you mad because I don’t kiss Brady behind . Are is it because I look at the hold team and I give credit to the defense and the kicker and the running game ?? Brady played well this year but they still changed the playbook for him just like they should . Bruce Arians couldn’t tell Brady at 43 to gain 20 pounds because he was going to get hit a lot . But when you said Colin Cowherd that let me know how much really know football and the sheep you are . Because his main job is to push the quarterback position. This is the same guy who said all you need is a quarterback and a coach and you can win the superbowl . Lol lol lol 😁😆😅🤣 . This is the same guy who said Sam Donald was great lol lol 😁😆😅!!!

  18. Executive Concerts & Management Inc. Says:

Tom Brady is the GOAT. Look he won in outside cold weather. Are you serious. Weather normal people call in sick and stay at home. Cold weather football and winning. No doubt he is truly deserving of title GOAT!!!

  19. Tina Says:

    @tampabaybucfan
Can’t win without the 31 points offense scored. Defense was great but it takes both. Listen to the players…they know Brady was a huge part. If you really understand football you get that! Don’t fight it! Its much more fun to love Brady too! It’s been 15 years for me. So awesome!

  20. geno711 Says:

Too bad, this week the trolls are back. (:)

Supposedly, they know how bad BA is. They know how bad others are. They have all the answers now after the season and they will limit the success to some and not the whole organization. So they think you can win a Super Bowl without all areas being good.

    So sad.

  21. BillMFL Says:

It was team win. And Brady led the way. He got the guys to believe in themselves. Never would have happened with Winston. I believed Tom would set a standard that would improve the Bucs. But man he pulled them together. Best sports story in years!

  22. Oneilbucs Says:

BillMF ain’t no player in the league need anybody to help them believe in their selfs. They wouldn’t have made it to the NFL . I know yall love Brady but I love the bucs .

  23. BUCFAN4LIFE Says:

Brady brought way more than just knowledge and skills to our tem , he also brought a winning attitude and a winning mentality .
