    Dammmmmitt!!!

  2. KnoxvilleBuc Says:

This one hurts. I’ve got faith in Edwards to make some plays!

  3. bojim Says:

    Argh!!

  4. Listnfrmafar Says:

You mean the Edward’s that game up the TD back shoulder pass to Smith. Oh boy he is the only one that comes up and puts a hit on receivers. Not good for Bucs! Edward’s is average at best.

  5. firethecannons Says:

honestly Edwards is capable and subbing in and out like they do with him may not be the best option, staying in the game and playing may end up being a good thing. We don’t need Winfield to end up with a permanently injured ankle. Personally I am not sure of a big drop off between Edwards and Winfield but after that there is NO depth.

  6. Buckin ayee Says:

    Edwards is a ball hawk

  7. Buc1987 Says:

    This sucks…lets hope he’s a go.

  8. Bangkok Buc Says:

    Hes gonna play.
Mind games a few hours before.

  9. SOEbuc Says:

    F#CK!!!

  10. Roy T. Buford Says:

Mike Edwards, the guy who got the INT last week that sealed the game? Next man up!

  11. Kentucky Buc Says:

Edwards is under rated. The best cover safety of the bunch.

  12. Buc Believer Says:

Could be that Bruce just wants to keep Reed guessing.

  13. TexasBucFan Says:

Edwards is above average in coverage, no too much of a drop off from 31 there. Edwards is quite subpar in run support…HUGE drop off there. Ouch.

Winfield is our best player in the secondary – hopefully the cortisone takes and he feels spry!

  14. Roy T. Buford Says:

Some good news…the snow had stopped in GB. Time to remove the tarp. The field is heated. By gametime it’s partly cloudy, and clear by end of game. Wind under 8 mph. Yeah, it’s cold, but not much worse than in WAS, and actually it’s probably going to be dryer on the field. Go Bucs@

  15. ATrain Says:

    BUT VEA VITA is BACK…..

    Watch out AARON

  16. Infomeplease Says:

Edwards needs more playing time anyway! All the snaps or just more than usual,. He’ll make some plays!! GO BUCS!!!!

  17. The Red Mirage Says:

    I agree with SOEbuc.

  18. DaBux Says:

    Just fuggggggggggggggggggg

  19. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Time for one of those 3 interception games from Adams….

  20. TampaTown Says:

This poor kid is probably hurting bad. Shows how important he is to us and the team. We have other Safeties that can make plays so come on Mike Edwards and Andrew Adams it’s next man up!

  21. Another J Says:

Edwards is capable, and He’s got good hands.
    No worries here!

  22. Allbuccedup Says:

He will be fine the cold weather will keep the swelling down.

  23. Dewey Selmon Says:

Can we suit up his father?

  24. Listnfrmafar Says:

Anyone see Brady walking every inch of Lambeau while Roger’s is still in his boxers sipping on his capachino? Brady is laser focused, his teammates must feel the tension off this guy. It’s almost GO TIME!

  25. NaplesBucsFan Says:

Whatever happens, gotta play who have out there and trust they step up!!! Edwards ain’t no slouch for he’s been playing really well! If Winfield ain’t at least 80% without too much risk to further injury then you don’t lay him. He could be a liability instead of an asset, if he can’t perform at a high level. Got faith in the D overall and I still expect a 40+ point performance by Brady and the O!! At least 3 passing TDs and at least 2 rushing TDs, possibly a D TD on a TO!!!
    GO BUCS!!

  26. Pewter Power Says:

If he’s not 💯 then don’t play him. He’s our best safety but if it was serious enough to make him a game time decision, this ain’t the quarterback to play against if your ability to change direction or react is limited. I hope he’s ok because he is necessary to avoid the pack putting up 40

  27. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Not big news. It was a game time decision mid week. Mike Edwards would be a starter on most teams. He’ll be fine filling in for the rookie.

  28. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Smoke screen

  29. BucEmUp Says:

They have two weeks to rest after today if they win.He needs to play!

  30. Wesley Says:

    Can’t win without him.

  31. Seemore Bucs Says:

Winfield would be missed but we can definitely win without him. I expect us to. Our offense went against two better defenses in Washington and New Orleans and should have scored 40 plus in both games. I think we get there or very close today. Gronk is going to get at least one Red Zone TD today, too. Bucs disappoint anyone hoping for a close game and/or a GB win by thumping the Pack comfortably today.

  32. Bucfan81 Says:

    Winfield official out…

  33. GMoney Says:

@Listnfrmafar Cockrell gave up the back shoulder TD

  34. BrandonBucFan Says:

Just confirmed. Winfield is out! Damn.

  35. Bucsfan1988 Says:

Just announced that Winfield is OUT …
    Crrrrrrap!!!!!

  36. SOEbuc Says:

Bummer. It’s all good. I got faith in Edwards like the rest of the pumped up Bucs. VITA!!!

  37. Seemore Bucs Says:

Next man up. No excuses. We are better than the Packers. We know it. They know it. Edwards will play well but we get a boost from Vita Vea on defense. We put Discount Double Check on his back and get out in front on the scoreboard, missing Winfield won’t be a problem. Rodgers will throw us the ball and the game and expect Edwards (and others) to get some interceptions to complete the Bucs victory.

  38. Wesley Says:

We’re screwed, God hates the Bucs.

  39. gp Says:

1st play from scrimmage for Green Bay, Winfield and Vea meet at designated point AR. Resulting strip sack has the football rolling into the end zone where Vea falls on it. The ball is unusable for the rest of the game but TOUCHDOWN!!!

    I’ve had a vision

  40. gp Says:

    Maybe it was White

    Kinda fuzzy, these visions

  41. Tackleblockwin Says:

    Edwards’s is a baller too. He’s ready! Let’s go!

  42. DaBux Says:

Just hear on 620, he’s out. Damn.

  43. Mitch Says:

Jordan Whitehead can tackle and Blitz. Mike Edwards better have the game of his life in coverage!

  44. Zwak Says:

    This really hurts!

  45. NaplesBucsFan Says:

Y’all need to relax! Every team has people who are out due to injury. Gotta play with who you have. Edwards has had a strong season in relief. I think he steps up real big and fills in nicely. We don’t need a 4 take away game like last week…GB is not NO on defense and our O will move the ball and score!

  46. Bucshot Says:

    Next man up!

  47. Wesley Says:

And we’re already down by 10.

  48. NaplesBucsFan Says:

    Chill Wesley

  49. All lives matter Says:

How do you miss suiting up for a win or go home game like this? Between Brown and Winnfield unless somethings broken should do what they can to get out there and play. So many prima donna’s anymore.

  50. Chris Boyd Says:

its okay. if vea plays like vea, the coverage on the back end wont have to be as strong

  51. Will Says:

    That sucks!

  52. Ericb Says:

This really sucks and were out AB also…were still capable of winning this game TAMPA BAY ALL THE WAY

  53. No Risk It No Biscuit Says:

He will be ready for the Super Bowl like D.White was ready for the Saints.

Edwards is a ball hawk! Chin up Bucs Fans!!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!

  54. JimmyJack Says:

Terrible terrible loss. We lost one of our key playmakers……and we are likely gonna need at least one big play to beat the Packers.

Good news is that Edwards has been getting better and better since his career started. He can make some plays too.

Not sure if Andrew Adams is still a backup for the Bucs or not. I hope he is. Solid player who is great to have when a guy like Winfield goes down.

    GO BUCS!!!!

  55. gofortheface30 Says:

It is exceptionally lame for one of your key guys to get hurt during PRACTICE of all things. Selfishly I am really really annoyed right now. SMB smarting a little bit too, we simply cannot afford to miss any more guys on the back end or it’s lights out. Shaq Barrett, JPP: we need them to have monster games
