“Dangerous Offense”

January 8th, 2021

Break down.

For much of the season, Bucs fans were grumbling about the Bucs offense because with the high-level star power up and down the lineup, there was no way the Bucs should have had a ho-hum offense.

Fingers were pointed at many. Bucco Bruce Arians is the wrong coach for park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking Bucs quarterback Tom Brady. Brady was the wrong quarterback for Arians. Offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich was just wrong. Brady was too old. There were too many cooks in the kitchen. Antonio Brown ruined the offense. You name it.

All of that seems like a whole lot of sports radio noise as we sit today just hours away from the Bucs’ first playoff game in 13 years tomorrow night in Landover, Md.

Former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson, the co-host of “Good Morning Football” takes a deep film-based study as to why the Bucs offense is now clicking the way we all envisioned it to move.

As Burleson said in the NFL Network video below, NFC playoff teams should be very afraid.

“The Bucs offense might be the most dangerous in the postseason.”

This team is unguardable if Brady has time and the gameplan is right. A complete dream team at wr and te. If the bucs get a 2 score lead this week at any point, its over.

Very exciting to watch. Let’s hope it’s come to fruition at the right time as it seems it has.

Awesome, awesome video. I do not expect a whole game of this type of domination tomorrow, WFT’s D is too good. But, we will see enough of the talented Bucs offense to make us play again next week. So excited!!!!

I love to watch folks break down plays like this. Really gives you insight as to why some things work and some don’t. What I love is Brady’s progressions. He’s not predisposed to throw it to a particular player. Throw the damn thing to the man that’s open. And, with this crew there are a lot of targets to choose from. I’m really feeling good about things right now.

on a side note. Wirfs is ranked Top 5 rookie and Winfield Top 10 rookie. NICE!

  11. Jeffbuc Says:

All pro team came out. David and white made second team all pro and that’s it from the team. No Wirfs

  12. TOM Says:

I believe Wirfs can handle Young but not Mr. Lazy ass Smith

This offense should stack a minimum of 5 TD on WFT.

The Washington Whatevers beat literally 1 good team this year (Steelers) and IIRC they had a bunch of injuries that caught up to them, i.e. Dupree and Bush.
They fattened their stats against the rest of the division and other weak teams like the Bengals and the Lions.

Unless Young completely mulches DSmith they’ll lay the People’s Elbow on this bunch of pretenders.

Burleson is right, we are the last team anyone wants to face in the playoffs.
We are peaking as a team, at exactly the right time.

The Redskins make good adjustments during halftime. Coaching has to stay on top of it.

Not worried about oline. Bucs recent success starts there. Big deal move Gronk over and double team. Let Gronk go off in GB. Smith can’t take inside guy and let Young blow right by him. I am sure they have been watching D-line film all week. Washington beat Steelers so did Cincy. Our losses were early to all PO teams.

As a Patriot fan for all of Brady’s career, and a guy who has been watching and supporting Brady (and the Bucs) this year, here’s my message to all you Buccaneer fans: Sit back and enjoy the Playoff Tom Brady Show. You are going have a the ride of your lives!

  18. GOATWatcher Says:

New England fan for years, now living about 20 miles from FedEx in Landover. Washington is heading for a beat down I’m afraid.

  19. David Says:

That was an excellent break down.
And he did not even show the speed of Miller and Gronk looking better and better and of course Rowe Joe running the ball.

It’s all about the O line and D line.
