“They Do Have A Real Good Chemistry”

Interesting take on Antonio Brown from Bucco Bruce Arians

Chemistry on a football field is a relative term.

Bucs fans have heard a lot about chemistry this season with coaches and players publicly saying lost spring practices and other restrictions because of The Sickness have hurt the offense.

What does it take for a quarterback and a receiver to build chemistry?

Joe brings this up because Bucco Bruce Arians was on SiriusXM NFL Radio this week and was asked about furniture-hurling, bicycle-tossing Antonio Brown, who joined the Bucs just six weeks ago.

Co-host Bill Polian, the Hall of Fame GM, told Arians that he believes Brown had a strong game against the Chiefs and it appears Brown’s time with Brady in New England is showing up on the field.

“They do have a real good chemistry,” Arians said.

“A.B.’s got the game speed back now,” Arians added, noting that he expects a bigger things from Brown over the final four games.

Considering Brown only spent two weeks with the Patriots and Brady last season before getting suspended, Brown has actually spent less time with Brady than any other Bucs receiver.Β So Joe wonders, is Brown’s chemistry with his quarterback better than Brady has with other receivers? If so, why is that the case?

Joe asked Brady earlier this year if he spent time working out with Brown before the Bucs reported to work in July. Brady didn’t answer the question.

Joe is very curious to see what the Bucs have planned for Brown this month and how he responds. Remember, Brown has big incentives in his contract, and is playing for a fat paycheck somewhere in 2021.

He was used as a runningback vs Chiefs, would like to see more of that, we could probably get Tyler Johnson on the field more if we do that.

Has anyone else noticed that the week we started brown instead of miller our offense has looked much worse?

Sometimes this team makes me want to shove forks deep into my ears and drink until my 80 year old neighbor looks like Gisele. Why can drunken fans understand what’s wrong with this team but not the coaches? FEED ROJO.

Pewter- we do not need another person stealing carries and snaps away from ronald jones.

Give jones 15-20 carries a game, build play action off of that. In 2 min offense, let Brady dink and dunk to open recievers underneath.

Hard for me of all people to type this since I grew up a fan of the old AFL bombs away football.

When was the last time an NFL team went really wild throwing bombs? The Greatest Show on Turf?

At any rate we have TB12 who has been an accurate passer and has been good this year at times putting the ball into receivers hands where they can get some YAC. With ME…CG and AB along with Gronk and Brate…how do DB’s cover these guys? One or more of them should be open literally every play.

Use slice and dice short passes to cut up a D and expose it’s open wounds to be gashed by an effective run game.
