McCaffrey Likely Won’t Play

November 11th, 2020

Carolina RB Christian McCaffrey.

While this is good news for the Bucs, it doesn’t change Joe’s mind that unless the Bucs wake up Sunday, they are in for a dogfight.

The Stinking Panthers have one superstar, and he’s been banged up. That’s all-everything running back Christian McCaffrey. About the only thing this guy doesn’t do is troll fans on the sideline with his girlfriend.

Well, it seems McCaffrey’s girlfriend won’t be watching her squeeze in person Sunday against the Bucs because McCaffrey likely won’t be there. Adam Schefter of BSPN claims the Stinking Panthers are not expected to have McCaffrey suit up.

Of course, as always with injuries, the final word if a player plays or not usually comes 90 minutes prior to kickoff when the game’s inactives are released.

Joe thinks the Stinking Panthers are a smart, tough team. One less weapon to worry about can’t hurt the defense, still bruised over that seal-clubbing last Sunday night.

Jimmy “Burn My Sausages All Night” Dean and Sean “I’m Caught Sleeping 4 or 5 Big Plays Per Game” Murphy-Bed are TERRIBLE NFL defensive backs.

They are what will keep this team from a deep playoff run IF we even make the playoffs at this point.

  2. TOM Says:

I hope McCaffrey plays because I don’t want the Bucs bragging how they beat the Panthers without McCaffrey.

    Brady,

    They’re terrible in zone coverage.

Lets play man coverage……use the youth & speed……rely less on communication……what’s the worst that can happen?……time to get very aggressive.

    i hope CMAC doesnt play!!

panthers have him and curtis samuel….both play out of the backfield and both can exploit DW in pass coverage….

bucs have to come out like they want it because the panthers really wanted it vs KC….im sure they’ll play like that again sunday….

    GO BUCS!!!!

JUST WIN, BABY! IN BA WE TRUST!

What this means, of course, is that McCafferey will play. It happens all the time. Players from other teams miraculously get better when they are about to play us and have great games (see Michael Thomas). On the other hand, our players suffer “mysterious” injuries, which utterly ruin our game plan. It’s a Bucs life!
