“Game Mode”

Lavonte David glows

Antonio Brown is probably on Santa’s Naughty List (will Santa’s sleigh get past Brown’s condo security team?), but he’s also on his teammates’ appreciation list.

Buccaneers captain Lavonte David has seen a lot of talent flow through the gates of One Buc Palace through the years, but few arrived with the renowned reputation of practicing like a total beast every possible minute.

Brown has that reputation and David was asked about that during a visit this week to FS1.

David gushed: “When you see it after hear about it, and you actually see it, you’re like, Man, you understand why [Brown is] one of the great receivers in this game.”

The Bucs’ stud linebacker went on to explain that Brown practices in “game mode” at all times, including sideline energy and toe-tap work and more.

Yes, Brown is earning the respect of his teammates, and it’s why he’s still wearing Bucs colors despite being societal menace.

I’m happy for AB and the team. He’s doing well and just needs to keep pushing forward. Mental and illness is no joke. It’s a challenge to live with and to treat without creating other problems. At least he’s trying to be a better man and he’s obviously doing his job well. Go AB!!!

I have a Cousin with Bi Polar Illness, and I can tell you firsthand, Mental Illness is no joke. But it is treatable!
It took him years to get it under control, but now you would never know what kind of person he once WAS.

not all mental illness is treatable

Prescribing pills to people with mental illness is about as effective as using a garden house trying to extinguish a burning hose…………cause you may slow the fire down a little but eventually that mofo will burn the F down!

You really gotta got get down to what exactly is the problem for the mental illness

………………..and sadly: some mental illness is incurable.

    Anthem

Just curious. Which prestigious University did you attend to learn about diagnosis and treatment of mental illness?

Since you’re talking about meds we assume you have the training of a full blown Psychiatrist since simple Psychologists are not allowed to prescribe.

I didn’t know it was Doctor Anthem. 🙂

Winston got benched for Hill. The guy threw for 5K and 30 TDs and he can’t beat out a guy whose never been a starter in the NFL. How far he’s fallen.

In my younger years, I accidentally set my grandparents house (Lakeland) on fire, full blown too… I indeed put that out with a garden hose, I’d say it was pretty effective! LOL Insurance money fixed everything AND sent them to their homeland, New Zealand for half a year… Idiot grandson, GREAT garden hose!

Makes you wonder if the metal problems Brown does have came from hits during football or even amplified them because of it. Maybe that hit from the Bengals linebacker Burfict knocked it all loose.
