FOX Sports: No Doubter — Bucs Win

November 13th, 2020

“Don’t frown, Lavonte. Gamblers like us Sunday.”

If you haven’t figured this out yet over the years, Joe’s a worrywart.

Joe knows all too well about the history of the Bucs in the post-Chucky era, and seeing how they barfed all over themselves the past two weeks, Joe is scared as hell about the Stinking Panthers.

Joe’s good friend Jason McIntyre of FOX Sports joined his co-host, former NFL offensive linemen Geoff Schwartz, on something called “FOXBet.” In the video below, the two discuss the Bucs-Stinking Panthers game extensively. Both believe the Bucs bounce back Sunday.

“Look, Tampa Bay got embarrassed on national television last week against the Saints,” Schwartz said. “They are a veteran team. They are going to come back out this week and play a lot better. Teams that lose by 35 points or more — it is very rare — they come back the next week and cover 6 out of 10 times.

“I think tom Brady is going to be able to move the ball and be comfortable in the pocket, something he wasn’t last week against the Saints.”

McIntyre doesn’t believe there is any reason for Bucs fans like Joe to lose a wink of sleep over the Stinking Panthers.

Schwartz, a former starting right guard for Carolina, also adds quality information on Carolina’s defense that those who enjoy wagering may be very interested in.

the panthers almost beat the chiefs last week!!!!!

    sorry…….bucs lose

  2. Defense Rules Says:

I’d much rather see us be the underdog.

  3. Rayjay1122 Says:

What is concerning is that they played lousy vs the Giants and that did not wake them up to have a good gameplan nor to execute worth a damn against the Saints. I hate being down on them because I had such high hopes but many fans act like the Saints game was a fluke. I know our record is 6-3 but many of our wins have not been based on strong performances. In fact, if you add up all of the quarters we have played from all of the games and mark down which ones were good vs bad ones. But hey, let’s just excuse bad football and stay eternally optimistic. Lol

  4. bojim Says:

Bad luck when ‘should win’ or ‘supposed to win’.
    are used.

  5. Alanbucsfan Says:

This will be a close game.
Teddy Bridgewater is 23-4 against the spread when his team is underdog.
    Bucs are favored by 5.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

No such thing as a “no doubter” generally in the NFL and specifically with the Bucs….

Should we win?…..Yes……will we win…..likely, maybe, possibly, hopefully>

  7. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

mcintyre is always so wrong. This is a great week to bet the bucs thoug; buy low sell high

  8. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

    BFS = Bucs Fan Syndrome

When we start losing we worry because we have seen it implode before, too many times.

What gives me more hope this week is that Carolina is horrible at getting to the QB, if Marpet is Back, means clean pocket.

  9. ModHairKen Says:

From Jason McIntyre’s lips to God’s ears or otherwise, the suicide watch is on for the “fans.” You know who you are.

  10. ruggyup Says:

Bookmark that opinion and let’s revisit it Sun. Night. Hope you are right but not holding my breath nor betting.

  11. ClodHopper Says:

    “Embarrassed on national television”

So? Since when has this team cared about being embarrassed on national television?

  12. Rob Says:

Every commentator on the pregame show leading to the Bucs vs Saints picked the Bucs to win. They know next to nothing. I wouldn’t bet a big gulp that the Bucs beat the Panthers this week. I watched the Panthers play the Chiefs. The Panthers do not suck, even with four consecutive losses and believe me, they would love to beat the inconsistent Buccaneers. Even as a 40 year Buc fan, I don’t see the Bucs doing anything in the playoffs, even if we manage a wild card entry. The Saints game was THAT important and we $hit the bed for absolutely no reason, on national tv to boot. I don’t know how you can play that badly in a pivotal, division game and just bounce back like nothing happened. Real doubts about my Bucs right now and they should be ashamed of how they played last week. Disgraceful. Go Bucs!

  13. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I view the game as a MUST Win for us, because I fear if we lose, the Bucs may implode.
I try not to buy into conspiracy theories, but some of the guys at the Sports Bar think there are BIG Problems on the Bucs.

  14. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    @ Chris

There is a big problem inside the Bucs Organization……………this team looked lost and unmotivated……….so something is going on inside that locker room and coaches know it but cannot publicly address it.

I personally feel like Antonio Brown is a distraction the Bucs really don’t need right now.

  15. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

    @TheBucsAnthem
You may be right that Antonio Brown is a distraction the Bucs really don’t need right now.
I also sense something is going on in that locker room.
