Donovan McNabb Talks Bucs Playoffs & Questions

November 12th, 2020

Joe was impressed listening to former hated Bucs rival quarterback Donovan McNabb recently on radio. The dude was extremely well versed on all things Tampa Bay.

Just a handful of months older than Tom Brady, McNabb had plenty to say.

First, McNabb sees the Bucs as a playoff team and a team too talented not to have a strong regular season. Joe is acutely aware that talent usually wins out, and that’s why Joe has little concern about some sort of Bucs collapse of historic proportions. Heck, the Bucs are quite healthy, too.

However, McNabb doesn’t see the Bucs as a very dangerous playoff team. He sees Seattle as a bigger beast, and he doesn’t like how the Bucs compare to other contenders when January comes.

“Remember, they’ve been kind of an up and down organization,” McNabb said. “A lot of those players have never had experience playing in the playoffs.

McNabb had a stunning 9-7 record in the playoffs, so Joe gives him plenty of credibility, plus he’s always been one of Joe’s favorite Xs and Os analysts.

As for Antonio Brown, McNabb seemed a bit perplexed by his addition, primarily because he said the Brady’s strength had been spreading the ball around so well and to so many targets. And now the Bucs added Brown and it’s likely they will try to force the issue with him. The challenge will be to resist that, McNabb continued on CBS Sports Radio.

The Bucs defense, despite its hiccups, is what impresses McNabb most, along with The Goat, who he believes will keep the Bucs ship on track.

if they play under the national spotlight in the playoffs the way they did last week, we are toast. let’s get it against carolina and take down a good team in the rams on monday night!

It is LONG season, and for the Bucs this is like the NBA, the good teams use the regular season to get ready to make a run in the playoffs, and then possibly play in the finals. Well that is exactly how I see the Bucs. Brady did not even know where the Bathroom was a one Buc palace until July. So again they are focused on building for the playoffs and last Sunday was a dosie of a hiccup but again it was only 1 game in a season of prep for the playoffs and the big dance. GO BUCS!!!KEEP TOM ALIVE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP DRIVE!!!!

You’ve never seen TBBF talk about SB…….let’s just make the playoffs and then anything can happen…..maybe it will, maybe it won’t….

But this I do know….it’s been 13 years…..so can’t we simply be happy with that for now?

We need to be concerned mostly about these teams….

Arizona, Bears, Rams………Rams & Arizona play each other and the Seahawks twice…..Bears play Packers

We need to take care of business vs Rams & we should get in.

    “What’s so hard to understand

Brady wants and demands great route running

Hammy Evans is a sloppy inconsistent route runner

Brady cannot build any consistency and timing with Hammy because every route he runs is different

Hammy is a 1 trick pony and only runs the go route effectively”

Then throw to him on the go route
