Bounceback Brady

November 15th, 2020

Scary stat.

Memo to Bucs opponents. If you are facing the Bucs after a blowout, be very, very afraid of Tom Brady.

The park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, jet ski-losing Bucs quarterback continued his domination of teams after getting drilled the previous week.

The Bucs were the victim of the Saints Seal-Clubbing last week. This week, it was the Bucs who did the swinging.

Now Brady wasn’t sharp. He missed long on at least two potential touchdowns, maybe three. He also made some sick throws to Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and furniture-tossing Antonio Brown.

Brady is now 8-1 in games after his team suffered a 20-points or more loss the previous game.

Per Bucs sideline reporter T.J. Rives of the Buccaneers Radio Network, Brady, in the game following a blowout loss, has 22 touchdowns and one pick.

That, friends, is a dangerous ratio. But let’s hope we never get to see Brady go for a 9th win in 10 games after losing by 20 or more.

The wind was very strong and not steady but gusting. It played with the guys at the Masters a little farther South and it obviously had some impact on the game when a player has to hold the ball on the kickoff.

Perhaps Brady was victimized by gusts….but then OTOH he made some passes we just aren’t used to seeing. Those feathery drops into receiver’s hands like the big first down play to ME13 that got their hookup going. JW’s game was putting somewhere near the receiver and letting the target use his athletic ability. And JW did have…does have a cannon…Tom Brady has a sniper’s rifle and awesome feel.

i like that they’re getting cam more into the passing game plan…

that 19 yard first down was a heck of a play…

    keep cam in the mixxx

  4. Leighroy Says:

You saw how much the after effects of Hurricane Delta really played some havoc out there eh?!

  5. Joe Says:

The wind was very strong and not steady but gusting.

Didn’t watch (nor ever will) The Munsters. However, in the second half when Succop went to kick a field goal did you see the goal posts swaying back and forth?

  6. Gbobucsfan Says:

Was at the game……winds were gusting very badly. 5 to 10 steady but gusting a ton

  7. stpetebucsfan Says:

I didn’t see that but am not surprised. Speaking of goalposts and that wind…

We should be giving it up to Succop bigtime. We didn’t NEED him today but he was there big time. And AGAIN…the Fup was on the ST blocking.

Who the heck coaches our ST’s?

  8. Bobby Says:

I just like going back and reading the open thread and seeing all the fans panicking every possession and then in the second half it’s BL is a genius and ROJO is a beast! 😂 Very entertaining read.

  9. SOEbuc Says:

    Succop the savior!

  10. SufferingSince76 Says:

Bobby, that’s because Buc fans are gun shy from 44 previous years of Buc football. Please forgive us. We’re trying to get better.

  11. Coburn Says:

Would like the final stat like for our third down success. Didn’t miss many

  12. orlbucfan Says:

Hey Bobby, you obviously aren’t a Bucs fan. Bucs got murdered last week by the Aints. That pattern feeds into a we-are-losers mindset that the team has had since its beginnings. Go look at its record/history. You’ll see what I’m talking about. Even in the 2001-2002 SB season, fans winced at losses. 7-3 is terrific but there are still 6 games left. They aren’t cupcakes, either.

  13. Greg Says:

Succop has been $ all season what a nice change!!!

  14. Oneilbuc Says:

Good game today but I got to see it against a good defense . I knew yall was going to make this about Brady he played good . But this was Rojo game to me.

  15. Oneilbuc Says:

Rojo is the starting runningback and I don’t want to hear about Fournett anymore . He only had 1 good game we don’t need him at all .

  16. Scot pederson Says:

Earth to Joe. Instead of negative attributes given to Brady when you intro him in an article why not just say The GOAT, multi pro bowler, multi s bowl winner and mvp, multi league mvp?

‘Seal Clubbing’ paints a bad picture.

    The park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, jet ski-losing, Six-time Super Bowl Champion Bucs qb wasn’t too shabby 2day.
Did anyone else notice this: at least two of hiss passes (one to the end zone to Godwin) catch an air pocket and sail up? Initially I thought it was tipped. The other was to Evans, I believe

  19. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

The bucs have been really good all year… They have not had one blow out since Arians arrived… And for some reason the saints can just crush them?? Winston has their playbook memorized I’m sure!! That is probably the only reason the saints even got him and probably the only reason that fake f*”* even signed with them for the LEAGUE MINIMUM instead of waiting till mid season when a QB got hurt!!!! Loser!!!

I loved watching Brady work against the Panther’s D, but am I wrong to feel like Brady is missing more long distance throws lately? Maybe I’m just having nervous thoughts of Peyton Manning barely able to push the football through the air when it mattered. Believe he had incredible stats that year too..

It would ease my brain if we continue to rely more on the run game and tighten up our defense. All in all we’re 7-3 and it’s been a hell of a lot of fun for a Bucs fan through the ups and downs this season, embrace it and enjoy the moments. We’re not talking draft already this year ladies and gentleman.
