Antonio Brown Activated

November 3rd, 2020

It’s on!

So it is now official. Furniture-tossing wide receiver Antonio Brown is a Bucs receiver.

The Bucs activated mercurial Antonio Brown this afternoon as he is now eligible to play after serving an eight-game sentence handed down by NFL strongman Roger Goodell.

Joe is going to love to see how Arians’ creative mind works in Brown. Yeah, Arians said it looked like Brown was in shape. What did you expect, Arians to say he looked like a dog on a high school track?

With Brown, with Mike Evans, with Chris Godwin, with foot-rubbing, car-littering Rob Gronkowski, with Scotty Miller, might there be too many cooks in the kitchen?

Only time will tell.

How awesome would it be if Brown caught a 70-yard touchdown on the first drive Sunday night from park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting Bucs quarterback and Brown’s roomie, Tom Brady?

This off ense looks flat without Godwin and a healthy Mike Evan’s. Unfortunately we need AB if we are going to beat other good teams. We barely just beat the Giants… Yikes.

  2. Bird Says:

Brady throws to the open man

Brady could care less who gets the fantasy stats

Where does brady rank in being sacked? Just curious?

I sometimes struggle to get through the garbage that I just automatically give up and move to the comment section.

I always respected Jimmy Johnson takes.

Last year Jimmy said – I wouldn’t touch him – this year, next year or ever.

    Hope he is wrong!

    MAGA “MAKE ANTONIO GREAT AGAIN”

For those who think we didn’t need him……HOW DO YOU KNOW?

Both Edwards & Godwin could go down and then where would we be.

I suspect that Mike’s game will improve with AB on the field……

    Can’t double all of them……

  6. BigMacAttack Says:

I read that AB is chiseled up and been working out long and hard to be in top physical condition. Let’s get ready to rumble!!

  7. Frankinthe813 Says:

Scotty Miller needs to fight for the ball and stick his head in there near the first down markers

  8. #1bucfan Says:

So there’s n shape and then there football shape he’s hasn’t played in a long while the nice thing is we can ease him in and he will help take some attention off ME13. Defenses sent going to know what to do lol

  9. Joe in Michigan Says:

Bird: Brady’s been sacked 10 times in 8 games. I think there’s 4 teams that have less sacks, but they’ve only played 7 games (they already had their bye week).

  10. Soggy Says:

Jimmy admits to tanking to set up a draft that helped him get to a SB win. Don’t let Jimmy fool ya he would take AB if it helped them get to the SB..

  11. Soggy Says:

    for jeno711^^^^

  12. Jonathan Limpchimpi Says:

Last night proved that he will be needed…what better game than vs the Saints?

  13. Soggy Says:

Sorry for the typo ^^^ geno711..^^^

  14. SlyPirate Says:

    QUIZ
You’re the Defensive Coordinator for the Saints. Which lineup do you fear the most?
    A) Evans, Godwin, Miller, Brown, Gronk
    B) Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk, Brate
    C) Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk, Fournette
    D) Evans, Godwin, Gronk, Brate, Fournette

  15. Soggy Says:

all good but I think B

  16. OneBuc55 Says:

This is a win win for everyone…

Wished we could have gotten Bell too…honestly

  17. Rod Munch Says:

Bucs don’t lose in Chicago if they weren’t having to start Scotty Miller — and last night they almost lost again having to start Scotty. Nothing against him, but he can’t get open vs starting corners and he’s killing the offense because of it. With AB, even an AB who has not played in 13 months, that isn’t going to be an issue. As a bonus, if Godwin and Evans can stay healthy, wow! Finally Scotty now becomes a weapon against since teams can’t just shut him down one-on-one. It’s a win, win, win, win, win for everyone.

  18. ArmchairGM Says:

    @SlyPirate
C except in the red zone. B within the 25. Also going to throw this secondary nightmare out there:
    E) Evans, Miller, Gronk on one side and AB, Godwin on the other

    _______

Bucs are number one in the league in lowest sack percentage at 3%

  20. ClwJB Says:

We look night and day different on O without Godwin- we NEED AB – once they are all healthy, watch out NFL

Until then, AB gives a A+ slot and another deep option to go with Miller

The drag, cross, and dig in space – watch AB go

    Can’t wait for Sunday night!

  22. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Last nights game was all the proof anyone needs why we need AB!
We are gonna need him, to beat the Saints.

  23. rrsrq Says:

I think the signing of AB had everything to do with last year when Evans and Godwin went down and we really only had Perriman, it’s gonna be nice

  24. Sesteprenelicus Says:

oh COOKS, I read that as something else

  25. Mike Johnson Says:

To hell with AB. I’m more worried about the saints finding ways to win close games. That’s the sign of a very good team. Bucs are gonna really need to bring it hard come Sun night. especially the defense. Stoping Kamara and pressuring Drew. If not it’s gonna be a long night. We go down 0-2 to the Saints and it’s no way we can say we are the better team.

  26. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

    ARB

  27. Rico 210 Says:

Man I wouldn’t want to be on the other side of this offense. It’s our defense that has to play huge for us imo. Btw can’t forget special teams unit. Must bring it. We’ll score points, not worried about that.
    Go Bucs
