A Good Pattern

November 15th, 2020

“The past will tell you the future, my son.”

Will history repeat itself? If so, look for a Bucs win today.

Who wrote that? Well, it would be Clark Judge of SI.com.

Judge noted that the last time the Bucs played the slimy Saints before last week’s seal-clubbing, the Bucs lost. After the game, Bucco Bruce Arians made no secret that park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, jet ski-losing Bucs quarterback Tom Brady played awfully.

And how did Brady respond? With a win over the Stinking Panthers.

So naturally Arians wasn’t all that kind to Brady’s play in the fresh seal-clubbing. Judge smells a pattern.

Also, Judge points out Brady lost a game by 20 or more points eight times with the Belicheats. In the next game, Brady only lost once. And in those seven wins, Brady played lights out.

Additionally, Brady this season has won every game immediately following a loss.

Joe sure hopes these patterns continue this afternoon.

So Judge smells a pattern, eh? Sure, Brady was off. But, does judge smell a LT that is nothing but a turnstyle and an O line that stinks on the left side for sure, without Marpet nailing that side down?

Tom Brady has never lost on Thursday Night Football, until the Bucs. That’s all I’ll say.

Stop with the superstitious. The panthers key to victory is to game plan for DSmith only. He is our weakest link on offense n has been inconsistent since entering the league.

  4. B.D Says:

better stick a tight end on left side to help block and have the back help protect before he goes out

I think the last Bucs team to go 6-4 was under Schiano, and that is as good as it got that year. Uneventful, a mediocre to bad team. Last team to go 7-3? Surely something under Gruden. Which will it be today?

  6. UKbuccaneer Says:

    Freeman’s 2010 bucs last went 7-3

We forget that Brady isn’t the only guy on this team. In pro football these guys need something to fire them up and it seems here in Tampa that desire isn’t there much of the time. Fire these men up coach. Do YOUR job.

  8. John Sinclear Says:

If you only win after a loss, then you are an 8-8 team. That, unless you are in the NFC East, won’t get you in the play-offs.
