Godwin, McCoy, Watson Out For Thursday

October 7th, 2020

No surprises here.

Pro Bowl receiver Chris Godwin (hamstring), Justin Watson (chest) and LeSean McCoy (ankle) will not play tomorrow in Chicago, per the Bucs’ official injury report.

Leonard Fournette (ankle) is listed as doubtful.

Mike Evans (ankle) and Scotty Miller (hip/groin) officially are “questionable,” but Joe is not about to play Tyler Johnson in daily fantasy. Joe expects Evans and Miller, who is on pace for 1,000 yards receiving, to be ready to go.

    GO BUCS!!!!!

Why not? It’s a good boom or bust choice for tournament play.

  3. WhoCares Says:

So what Joe is saying is that the Best QB to ever play for Tampa or in the NFL is healthy. And the Same for ME.

    Works for me.

Its gonna be a cake walk.

    Thanks for the update Joe.

  4. BillyBucFan Says:

You guys are delusional if you think we win if our top 4 WRs don’t play against this Bears defense.

I have seen Zero from any other receiver to this point and you think they will magically produce all of a sudden?

If ME and SM do play, then we have a chance, but we still won’t score more than 24.

I’m expecting to see what has happened to every other decimated team this year

Just pisses me off that it is ALL on one side of the ball.

  5. SlyPirate541 Says:

Hopefully they can heal up. Going to need these guys against the Packers, Raiders, and Saints. They can take the Giants game off.

  6. Dewey Selmon Says:

Brady has been throwing to whoever lines up for 20 years. Winston got Perriman a sweet deal in NY while Evans and Godwin were out last year. We will be fine. might be a little rusty at first from a short week, but if it is close at halftime I think Brady will pull it out. Bucs 31 Bears 21

  7. ClodHopper Says:

Yikes!! And what’s Evans at if he plays, 70%? And Fournette banged up.

I’d start Tyler Johnson in any fantasy team I played that had two or more wrs starting.

  8. Goforthwface30 Says:

D-Rome, agree to a point. If Evans and Miller are active, starting Tyler Johnson is insane. If you wanna win the real money on fanduel you really have to nail every single one of your slots. I had Dak/Odell/cee dee lamb/Evans, just an u real lineup, and I came in 35th out of 9 thousand entries which is great, only won 180 bucks, but anyway the point is one of my flex options gave me a big fat zero, had I gotten anything at all I would’ve been top 5. As an aside fanduel is a bit iffy, I’ve seen a few of the same people winning 50 grand, 100 grand etc. I’m 100% convinced this people with these blue check marks next to their names have inside information.

  9. Ndog Says:

    Start Gronk in fantasy!!!!!

  10. ArmchairGM Says:

About to see 4 wide with Evans, Miller, Gronk, and Brate

Thank Licht for all depth at skill positions. It’s getting tested early.

  11. Joe in Michigan Says:

I’m interested to see what Tyler Johnson can do, if given the chance.

  12. unbelievable Says:

    @Gofortheface-

Crazy you only got $180 after finishing that high.

As for the same guys winning all the time- many of them have either developed themselves or paid for these super advanced analytics / equations that predict the best lineup each week. These equations are on the level of what the computers used by day-trading companies do.

  13. Beeej Says:

I may regret this, starting Big Ben over TB12. I HAVE Gronk, pondering starting him over Andrews

  14. Bird Says:

Watching the buc replay right now

Sucks it was blacked out in orlando. So they are showing on a wednesday
    Better then nothing.

  15. Clean House Says:

What’s the spread?, considering betting the Bears

  16. Brad Says:

I don’t know Joe, Tyler Johnson has been in the field a good bit lately. Everyone keeps dropping he’s going to have to throw it to him

  17. D-Rome Says:

Goforthwface30, I hear you and I agree on Evans/Miller. When I play GPP I play cheap tournaments so I’ll have 20 different lineups going. I’ll definitely have one with Tyler Johnson. If he’s a bust, oh well but if he hits it *could* put me up there as long as my chalk plays do their thing.

I don’t think the sites are rigged but those people with the blue checkmarks do it for a living. They pay for all this Vegas insider information, pay for expensive Rotogrinders subscriptions, ect…I’ve seen some of the information they use. They are great tools but ultimately nothing is stopping other people from making the same lineup they do.

  18. SB Says:

I sure hope Scotty Miller plays! In one of my FF league he is my ONLY option for even Flex. Too many injuries and byes for me this week.
    Go Bucs

  19. m0j0 Says:

I would expect to see a lot of screens in this game. TE’s, RB’s and WR’s, as well as a lot of quick slants.

  20. Godlovesbucs Says:

This will not be an easy game. We have to travel on a short week, they have been in chi for 2 weeks now. We have a lot of injuries on the o. They have a solid d. Also potential for it to be a trap game with playing the pack next week.

  21. Coburn Says:

Didn’t realize Watson was that banged up. That hurts .. even if Miller and Evans play that puts him as our default #3… Unless we want to see more of Grayson… Who else do we have? If either of those two can’t play we can barely even field 3? Johnson and Grayson as 2 and 3? Ouch. Def dunpofds to tight ends and RBS.. which we are also short on.

  22. SB Says:

No big deal Coburn. Just put a Ton of stickem on Grayson’s helmet.

  23. ©MadMax Says:

Im worried…not gonna lie. We’re down quite a few key players and some hobbled others. Gonna need that run game from Rojo and KVaughn big time. Gronk and Brate can just do their thing and we’ll be good in the short passing game (KVaughn too)….its probably going to be a low scoring game, im taking the under.

  24. Jerry Says:

Injuries are piling up big time.

  25. BucEmUp Says:

I dont like Mike Evans playing in this game. We need him late in the season and we can win this game without him. I would expecr vaughn to catch some.passes and for Brate to get heavily involved. Winable game. Keep them active but only use them.if needed or sparingly in my opinion

Yup no matter what I type.
Can’t even type any letter at all. Prolly should just leave the site for a month or two which would Suck. Maybe then the ‘filters’ would forget me?
I haven’t said a profane word in probably 5 years here and now I can’t even type a letter without going into the corner

  31. unbelievable Says:

    @BucEmUp-

I hear you but if Evans is cleared, he’ll play.

You heard him last week. Dude is a dog and loves the fight.

  32. Bangkok Buc Says:

Evans will play if we can and we certainly need him more now than ever. Week 5 win is just as important as week 14.
Get er done and enjoy the long week to heal up for GB

    Go Bucs

  33. Ivan The Insider Says:

Just think of how much potential MONEY Godwin is losing. After a breakout year last year, and ready for a big contract extension… now he’s riddled with injuries.

I sure how he can heal up and come back soon. We need him.

  34. Bird Says:

    Sb

Its not the filters. Thays bs. I left for some time and came back to moderation
Most likely you ticked off one of the writers.

  35. SB Says:

He assures me not but it happened all at once last week when I was downing Ndog. I haven’t been moderated in quite a while until I started debating Ndog on how much better TB12 was doing than JW2.
I believe that he is not a coder but there should be a definite reason for a person not being able to confer here anymore on a regular basis because one has to wait an hour or so to see said comment.
Not bashing you Joe! I Love this site. Second click every morning.
Just maybe a coder should be hired for a day or two to tweek filters? IDK
    For real. IDK.
