Buccaneers 38, Packers 10

October 18th, 2020

Jamel Dean, gamechanger

How do you like your first-place Buccaneers now?

Our beloved Bucs just beat the crap out of a damn good football team — one that had a week to prepare for everything Tampa Bay had to offer.

What a test of the Bucs’ fortitude. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense absolutely was dominant in the first quarter, jumping out to a 10-0 lead and methodically driving down the field. And then Jamel Dean made a play, a pick-6 and Green Bay never recovered.

That’s the kind of thing that would happen to the Bucs during The Lost Decade. Today, the tables were completely turned and it happened to one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

A pass breakup by Carlton Davis led to a Mike Edwards pick and it was 14-10 and the rout was on — 38 unanswered points.

Tom Brady was precise.

The blitzes got to Rodgers.

Ronald Jones was a monster with his third consecutive 100-plus yard game.

Rob Gronkowski was the guy the Bucs paid for.

Lavonte David made four or five plays. Devin White showed up, too, even though he still struggles in pass coverage.

Mike Evans was invisible and it didn’t matter a lick.

The Bucs are 4-2 and Joe is in ecstasy. There’s nothing this team can’t accomplish.

Zero penalties accepted against the Bucs today. ZERO!!!

Stick with Joe through the night. And join Joe and Ira Kaufman at Big Storm Brewing Co. in Clearwater next Sunday night, indoor and outdoor seating, giveaways, and fired up Bucs fans for Sunday Night Football.

  25. Fernando Says:

Joe please ban everyone that was bashing on your open thread when we were down
    That defense showed up

  26. TB 12 Says:

For all fans who said last game that Tom Brady was a fraud, now you know you are all wrong. Go bucs

  27. Howard Cosell Says:

The whole defensive secondary played like a bunch of Darelle Revis clones today.

  28. Youngbucs Says:

I’m just here to see Ndog cry about why we won 😂😂. Better luck next week Ndog 🤡

Wasn’t early with the article you little nerds. The backups for both teams had already checked in. 4 min left when it posted. Game is over, Jesus Christ – you people are really complaining about this? Bucs are going to win 38-10 and this is what you point out. Morons

Oh hey NDOG, can you do me a favor? Would you mind holding this L for me? Thanks loser 😘

  31. Buczilla Says:

Wow, it’s amazing what playing disciplined football will do for a team. Thank you Arians and crew. Keep it up dudes! So damn happy. 😜

  32. Howard Cosell Says:

A little Brady screaming goes a long way

  33. JimmyJack Says:

We are officially Contenders…..If not the Top NFC team!!

The Bucs put it all together today and prooved what we are capable of.

We now have new expectations in Tampa Bay. Our first step is to win the division.

    WOOO GOOOO BUCS!!!

  34. Show Me the TDs Says:

Glad Evans got a chance to rest up and prepare for The Raiders.

  35. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Devin White showed up, too, even though he still struggles in pass coverage.

Joe just can’t give it up for Devin White

He led the team in tackles with 10 (9 solo)…..3 TFL & a sack…..and you disparage his coverage……

The man was all over the field today…..

  36. RICHARD weeks Says:

Ndog, please go to bed now…Brady will give you nightmares tonight.
Ask your mom to give your binky back to you…night night

  37. BucDan Says:

    Great win by the Bucs!

More talk should be made of the defense holding Rodgers to less than 50% completion. Dude throws darts all day and Bowles was dialing up the defensive calls. DTs, DEs, LBs and DBs were all creeping on Rodgers forcing sacks, QB hits and errant throws. Great job D!

  38. Ivan The Insider Says:

We should be 5-1 if it weren’t for the BS call on 3rd and 17 against Shaq.

    This team is FOR REAL.
