“Brady Is A Baller”

October 20th, 2020

“Baller.”

My, how perceptions change in just a couple of days.

Look, Joe was doom and gloom about the Bucs after that Chicago Choke a week-and-a-half ago. Joe was hardly alone.

But now the national perception of the Bucs after they seal-clubbed the Packers has the all of a sudden a superior team and Aaron Rodgers is the choke artist.

But history suggests Rodgers, for as otherworldly talented he is, is a soft choke artist who looks for the nearest hot celebrity to run to and cry when the Packers trail in games. Former Tampa Bay area sports personality and current national yakker Colin Cowherd said the Bucs exposed Rodgers once and for all.

In so many words Cowherd, on his weekday FS1 show, said the Bucs punched Rodgers in the mouth and he collapsed into a fetal position after preening like Rick Rude.

When Mike Edwards damn near had a pick-six for Rodgers’ second interception, it was game oh-vah, Cowherd said.

Brady is the man you want to ride into battle with, according to Rodgers is the guy who will lead you to POW captivity. You can see and hear Cowherd’s take in the FS1 video below.

    cowherd aint lying….

rodgers had all the swag in the world when they were up 10-0….

1 play sucked his swag away….

reminds me of our former QB…..

    C’MON NDOG….LOL

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  2. Cannon Says:

You know your D is good when they cause the pundits to torch a future Hall of Fame QB.

  3. Buc1987 Says:

    And we’ve the GOAT.

Oh yes we’ve got the GOAT for as long as he wants to play in Tampa.

    Go Bucs!!!

  4. Cobraboy Says:

A wise old football coach used to preach to us every week:

“Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it seems.”

I caution Buc fans about getting too far over your skis.

One game was impressive, no doubt. If this team seal-clubs the Grudens—a tall order—then they may establish a trend…

  5. Casual Observer Says:

Right. One game at a time.

  6. Cannon Says:

^ Its true, the Raiders are the next big test. Let’s hope our team keeps the intensity up.

  7. Mitch Says:

Impressive stat for Brady and his 20 years in the league.

  8. August 1976 Buc Says:

Brady = GOAT, Gold standard, Mr 6 Rings, Arod 1 ring. And some ugly beatdowns by the Bucs now and the 49ers last year. lol did you see him checking the turf when he came on the field for the first play. Tampa’s turf is in his head. He is 1-3 at Rayjay. GO BUCS!!!!!

  9. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

All I know is I have to believe these boys can do it no matter what. I definitely was one of those throwing in the towel before the end of the 1st quarter. Brady is a baller and if we can keep our stupid penalties to a minimum and the defense can play consistently like they did Sunday, no team is safe from these Tompa Bay Buccaneers!

Contrary to some posters belief, if our last qb had reduced his turnovers and played more consistently he would still be here. He was the BIGGEST reason he lost his job. He has all the physical abilities needed for this no riskit no biscuit offense, but he lacked the mental fortitude to learn the mental aspects of the game like Brady who is a master of it.

  10. m0j0 Says:

I am pretty sure the Bucs are focused on the Raiders right now and probably have seen some pretty impressive film of their offense in action. They have a legit RB and great play from WR’s and TE’s, and the QB has been sharp. However, the thing that really must need to be the focus of the the teams efforts is slowing down their pass rush. They had 24 pressures against KC, which is ludicrous. Bucs must run the ball and not allow Brady to be pressured like that.

  11. NashvilleBuc Says:

@813bucboi can we please let sleeping Ndogs lie?

  12. zzbuc Says:

I agree with you 1000% Cobraboy!!!
We weren’t in heaven last week, we ain’t on heaven today……
Is just a matter of time and patience……But media do not seem to understand it…. It’s all about now, black or white…..bipolar people!!!!

And to make those kind of statements, you need time!!!!

  13. Buc1987 Says:

    David…well said. Ndog pay attention.

  14. ModHairKen Says:

    Cobraboy, spot on.

  15. August 1976 Buc Says:

David well said, honest. Very talented but up to this point of Jameis career you cannot trust him. Maybe one day, but not now. By this time last year Jameis had 12 ints and right now Brady is at 4. Trust. GO BUCS!!!

  16. Tye Says:

When you have spent decades choosing poorly at who will be qb, the peoples perception of you will be losers..

finally bringing in a reliable, talented, NFL quality qb so the whole team respects and are willing to play hard for makes all the difference…
Hopefully Sundays game was just a preview of things to come this season!

  17. of course Says:

    N D O G S I T S D O W N T O PP!!!!

  18. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

813 please stop with your relentless Jameis hate. The one thing he never did was give up. He has all the football heart in the world. He had supreme confidence in his abilities to come back, which was also his downfall because he believed he could make a play on every play instead of being willing to give up on it. This led to many of the mistakes he made. He loved his team and teammates just made too many bad choices. These incessant lies you tell about him are mind boggling because there’s no evidence to back them up! You continuously call him a bust, but yet a bust doesn’t come into a team and rewrite pretty much every qb record it has ever had in a 5 year period. A bust doesn’t throw for almost 20k yards and 121 tds. Constantly pointing out 31 teams kept their starting or back up qbs doesn’t mean anything because he is better than most of the qbs starting qbs. His turnovers are the reason he’s been blackballed.

You are no different from Ndog with his incessant Jameis love, always blaming everything and everyone else for his downfall even though the evidence shows otherwise. Too many people up here use other than football reasons why they love or hate Jameis and Brady alike. All I know if Jameis was willing to learn the mental side of football, and become more like Brady he could be one of the greats.

  19. Cobraboy Says:

If this team reads their press clippings like they did after the win over the Sparks, it could be a very long evening in Las Vegas.

The probability of playing three perfect quarters like against the Packers is close to *zero.*

  20. TampaTown Says:

Wow that take on Rodgers was brutal. But it’s time to put this game away. All the young guys have an even bigger test coming up in Las Vegas and they have to keep their wits about them. And Jon Gruden is foaming at the mouth at the prospect of taking down Mahomes and then Brady. All this great press means they’re coming for us.

  21. 813bucboi Says:

    fan99

i dont hate the previous QB….i just dont praise him for meaningless stats like yourself, ndog and others…..

the previous qb came here, “re-wrote the franchise qb records” and LOST!!….

and now he’s a 3rd string qb who was formerly a #1 overall pick watching his former team sit atop of the division……

get over it…the previous qb is a BUST!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  23. Pewter power Says:

He’s been on the bandwagon all season and down on AD for 2 years so it was just more fuel to his fire

  24. Darin Says:

    Cobra
Weren’t you here last week when the same guys said the Bucs were done? Done and in first place. You can’t teach perspective at this point unfortunately. But yeah every team has pro’s. Gota show up every week or the Bucs will be done again, they’ll say

  25. Youngbucs Says:

Also Brady’s accuracy on the deep ball is impressive even when not completed. He forces the defender to interfere because of the placement it’s happened repeatedly.

  26. Fernando Diaz Says:

Jamaal Williams has to shut up now
Lesson here when you have 6 rings you can forget a down or 2
Brady is efficient simple as that no turnovers
If this D plays like this this team can go very far. It was like watching the ghosts of the great defenses.
    Go BUCS!!!

  27. Topdoggie Says:

I was scratching my head seeing him on the sidelines pouting. But dam there are 25 teams that would dump their QB tommorow for him.

  28. mike peets Says:

Cowherd has been on the Bucs bandwagon since the offseason and he was one fo the few who said to not worry about the Bucs loss to the Bears.

I still can’t understand why everyone reacted so much to the Bears game. Road game on a very short week against a tough defense with the entire receiving core either out or banged up. That is the literal recipe for disaster for NFL teams.

You cannot look at that game as an accurate assessment of this team.

  29. Jonny Says:

Stop the lies. What Rodgers did is like Hingle McClingleberry, not Rick Rude. This article is fake news.

  30. Boston Boy Says:

Slw learner Cowherd is late to the table. Brady has been BALLING for 20 years.

  31. Cobraboy Says:

Keep in mind the Raiders have beaten both the Saints and Chefs.

    That’s some tall cotton…

  32. TampaTown Says:

    Cobraboy:
Maybe the Raiders are due for a reality check as well.

  33. DBS Says:

The same people that were telling someone to go away and stop his BS now want to start it? He is not starting it yet you fools want to. So don’t blame him or open your mouth if he starts again.

  34. Cajun 69 Says:

Like I said a few days ago you folks under estimate my boy Brady he hates loosing it makes for a hell of a ride give these boys a little time it’s a supper bowl this year or and next but Mark my word as a life long Brady fan and Patriots dont Evey count To my boy out he will make you eat your words at this point its about fine tuning a new team hold on to your jock straps Boys 😆

  35. 813bucboi Says:

the BIG DAWGS want that mutt to keep barking when he has to eat crow….

    same with realist….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  36. Buc1987 Says:

813bucboi….not me when it comes to Realist.

Silence. The way it should be.

Especially after they beat the living F out of the Packers.

  37. VA Tom Says:

I love the Bucs and I enjoy Brady playing for us. But he looked equally lost after Kahlil Mack whacked him a few times last week. Against a weaker D. I am not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth this week. But these talking heads have a short memory.

  38. Bucsfanman Says:

    Did Brady “check his sheet?!”

I’m still waiting for this offense to explode. It hasn’t been there yet.

’87- Realist(o) is “tending” his sheep right now! LOL!

  39. AtlBuc Says:

Rodgers is 1-42 when entering the 4th down more than 1 to a team over .500.
