3 Backups To Start For Chargers On O-Line

October 2nd, 2020

Time for feasting and beasting

It’s official! Chargers rookie QB Justin Herbert will be running for his life.

Veteran Chargers starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga is out Sunday versus the Bucs with a back injury he suffered midway through the Chargers’ rough home loss to the Panthers on Sunday. Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner? He’ll also miss another game with a groin injury. And stud center Mike Pouncey (hip) was lost for the season a couple of weeks ago.

And the Chargers are down Pro Bowl defensive backs Derwin James and Chris Harris. And No. 2 wide receiver is out with a blown hamstring he suffered last Sunday.

What’s the over/under on Bucs sacks on Sunday? 5 1/2?

Joe can’t wait to watch the defense hunt.

i expect another solid performance from the defense….

time for rojo to show if he has it or not….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  2. pewter941 Says:

I wonder if this means more or less blitzing, maybe we will generate more pressure with less guys this week.

  3. Lamarcus Says:

Can Clyde Christianson call the plays on Sunday? I want us to blow them out

  4. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Let’s see if this is the new Bucs or not. Old Bucs would play down to this team and allow the QB to throw 400yards and 4TD. Maybe squeak out a win and think we’ve arrived.

  5. fudbucly Says:

Is it just me, or do the Pewter color rush unis look damn tough! Go Bucs!!

  6. Darin Says:

Better run blocking equals better play calling. Having said that I’d prefer to call the plays Lamarcus. Let’s hope he gets better as the weeks go by too

  7. Jmarkbuc Says:

Most of the country watching Bucs vs Chargers at 1 o’clock on Sunday. Hope we play well.

I always hate when everybody says we should be them easily all week long. Then again we never had the 🐐 before.

  8. Bucsfan81 Says:

Over 5 sacks. The defense is going to feast and smell blood in the water. Going to a blood bath…Go Bucs…

  9. Tbbucsjoe83 Says:

The Red Tide needs to show up again! Meaning the defense..

  10. Cobraboy Says:

    Well, that changes everything.

A full complimebnt of starting OL is still a challenge to deal with the Bucs front-7.

But with three backups against that line?

    Whoa!

  11. Ndog Says:

    Let the luck continue!

  12. JimmyJack Says:

Its VitaV time!! He dominated a depleated Broncos line last week. Hes gotta be the first guy to make them pay just like last week.

  13. Fred mcneil Says:

I think blitzing too much would be a mistake two weeks in a row. Just the threat would keep them in max protect all day.

  14. Youngbucs Says:

Yup ndog let it 🤡 thts all you got ????? I guess you won’t have any material until we lose a gm???? I love the fact you’re mad you deserve it rooting against our team!

  15. Buc Bro Says:

Excited to see the defense for a change…

  16. Ndog Says:

The problem Youngbucs is people like me who actually loved the team they’ve lost. So when your little marriage with this prima donna is over and none of you people are going the games, real fans like myself won’t be going either and they’ll be nobody there. That’s when they will realize the mistake they made because people like me who actually care about the longevity of this team and being good for a long time won’t go back. They blew it and they’ll know eventually. So while people like you are happy in your little five second window the long term fans they blew it with, but they will always have the clueless on this site talking jibberish and not showing up.

  17. El Buco Realisto Is a Dicko and NDog is a Crybaby and TheBucsAnus is a Troll Says:

Just keep on whimpering NPup, that’s what you do best.

  18. Bucsfan77 Says:

Npup you’re obviously don’t live anywhere near Tampa, winning regardless of who is or isn’t on the team benefits the whole city. With us hosting the SB every extra national attention we get helps getting the city back to normal. This is a one in a life time a team has the chance to make history by winning a SB in thier home stadium. So we may have rough years ahead we are Buc fans that’s nothing new, but enjoy this year for this year man we will worry about the future in the future . Let’s make history this year.

  19. Dewey Selmon Says:

    Jameis nuthugger hijacks another thread.

  20. Barbosa Says:

Yaaaa Haaar! The Chargers be entering the Devil’s Triangle defense Sunday at One! Dead men tell no tales!!

  21. jcscycles Says:

    The crazy ex-girlfriend strikes again.

  22. Youngbucs Says:

Ndog you sound stupid as usual the core of this team is young and hungry!!!! Our future isn’t over because we got rid of 1 barely average player. But keep going we love the comedy.

  23. Cobraboy Says:

Ndog reminds me of that Overly Attached Girlfriend…

  24. Chris K Says:

Ndog, love the team they lost? The men in uniform are the team. Every year since forever there is turnover on a roster. You don’t love the team you “lost” you’re obsessed with a quarterback who failed in his 5 years here. You sound dumber and dumber every time you make such ignorant comments. The Buccaneers team will be on the field Sunday. Not the team from 2019,2018,2017,2016,2015,2014,2013, etc etc etc.. Every year the men in the Tampa Bay uniforms are the team! Get over you love fest already!!

  25. Cobraboy Says:

Screw the future, Imma enjoy the hell outta the present.

  26. Bucsfanman Says:

“Luck”?! It’s called FOOTBALL. You still have to play the game Ndog. We’ve got injuries too, you know! You might know this if you weren’t singularly focused on being a crybaby! Just dumber with every post…
    Anyway!
I hope this defense feeds early and often.
Defense is fun again in Tampa Bay!

  27. stpetebucsfan Says:

    What Cobra just said!!!

    Look it’s coach Arians ⬆️

  29. Big Stinky Says:

    Ndog

Are you telling me the future is lost because SHAMELESS is gone? Do you think he just MAGICALLY stopped throwing picks this year? It’s a joke that he said he was going to stop and you believe him. I hoped it would change EVERY year and got my expectations crushed because it NEVER happened. Winston’s a victim though!!! His ONE chance to stay here was if Koetter stayed coach. Why in the HELL would you have him learn a new offense the LAST year you had to decide if you were going to keep him? The Glazers and Licht are CLUELESS!!!

  30. Leighroy Says:

Right, bc the future before JW3 was released was “so bright you gotta wear shades man!” Ndog sounds like 0-3 Jon Gruden on his way to 5-11 in 2004.

Wake up, enjoy the ride while it lasts! It’s like you’re turning down the cougar at the bar for a one night stand who’s still an 8/10. Just bc you’re not marrying her that year doesn’t mean everyone can’t get their cookies!!

  31. Asdf Says:

Gaining respect for Ndog actually. I mean that much blind commitment to trolling. Not even mad, just impressed

  32. D-Rome Says:

    Let the luck continue!

People who blame luck do so to not take responsibility for their bad choices, like defending Jay-Miss.

  33. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Poor Jay Miss: BAD LUCK with all his poor choices. Those must not have been CHOICES, it must have been bad luck!

  34. Cobraboy Says:

If it weren’t for bad choices and decisions, Ndog and Jameis Christ wouldn’t have any luck at all…

  35. Joe in Michigan Says:

Remember when Washington had 2 or 3 starters out a few years ago, and the Bucs still didn’t generate a pass rush? Those days are long gone, with all the players the Bucs can send nowadays.

  36. Bird Says:

You wanna hear a love joke in honor of you know who
What a weirdo by the way

Ndog , jameis and matt gay walk into a bar

  37. orlbucfan Says:

I am so ancient I remember when the NFL Championship game was played in the home stadium of the team with the best regular season record. It was NFL East and NFL West. I HATE the Super Bowl. It is no championship game. It’s just a joke where a bunch of rich yahoos party. I don’t watch it. The conference championship games are the end of the season for me.

  38. SmoothBayRider Says:

I have been asking NDog to square up and throw the hands for months . He has never responded.

NDog , where you at bro ?

  39. Jmarkbuc Says:

Ndog “loved the team he lost”

Just when I thought she couldn’t be any more pathetic…..Ever heard of the lost decade Ndog?

It’s not the team you loved.

  40. Mike Johnson Says:

Makes no difference who the Chargers got down. A wounded animal usually rallys and Mgives his best performance. Bucs cannot slight anybody. They gotta go full bore and all out. Them Chargers will be Charging. This is a golden opportunity for their backups to shine brightly. And some of them will. Ball out Bucs!

  41. Buc4ever Says:

In other news, James Wilder Jr has asked the Bucs for a try out. Why not it’s the least they could do. The kid is bigger than any of our backs and might be a good backup and blocker.

  42. BUC CHEEKS Says:

    They’re hurt!!! Sweeeeeep the leg!!!!!!!🥋

  43. adam from ny Says:

    oh sheet…

smooth bay rider wants to dance & shoot joints with ndog…

    Let the luck continue!

    ………..

First three games vs last yrs first three games. Facts that aren’t cherry picked.
    Completion % up 5%
Completion % of over 20 air yard throws up 5%
Redzone % at 80% where last yr it was at 27%
TDs offensively Double while INTs cut by 40%

That is some bada$$ luck dude!

  46. SB Says:

    Nice one Bird 🙂

  47. Howard Cosell Says:

Suh’s upper arm is bigger than Howard Thigh

  48. Howard Cosell Says:

Howard kind of misses El Buco Realisto and the sheep and goats …….and the biscuits

I’m not expecting much from the running game still. We’ve played patchwork defensive lines the past two weeks, and managed an avarage running game. I’m happy with average. I don’t think it’s gonna happen against the better D-lines. We still pass block well, so all is not lost!

  50. bucnole Says:

What Abdominal said. . . don’t take anything for granted.
    Dominate!

  51. Tampabaybucfan Says:

PREDICTION FROM TBBF……….First time ever…..Bucs are penalized for blitzing the Chargers during pre-game warmups……

    Lamarcus Says:
“Can Clyde Christianson call the plays on Sunday? I want us to blow them out.”

Man, the last time he called plays for us, it didn’t go so well.

That’s just another way to say psycho chic. You should be in diplomacy.

  53. Bush's Coke Spoon Says:

    I’d kill to see a power-I formation.

  54. Mitch Says:

It’s gonna be a good game. I think the Bucs defense has another four to six sacks this weekend and a few turnovers depending on the weather. On the other hand the chargers defense is no joke. They run a straight Cover 3 and trust their front four to get after the QB. They are also averaging less than 200 yards to QB’s so far this year including Mahomes. It’s gonna be a big test for Wirfs even with Bosa not completely 100%. Also, I tell you I hope we get a heavy dose of Ronald Jones. I read that in his career where he gets at least 15 carries he always goes over 80 yards and scores 4/5 times in games. If we can get him going it will allow for Brady to distribute the ball, and I especially think Mike Evans and LeSean Mcoy could have big receiving days just based on Chris Harris Jr Injury and the fact that Brady threw over 150 yards to running backs the last time he faced Anthony Lynn’s Chargers and beat them 42-28. Should be a really good game depending on the inclement weather.

    GO BUCS!!

  58. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Red tide is not a name to give a defense full of men. In Florida it was used to signify a stanky skanky girl. Pewter Pain would be better

  59. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Bush, power I with Vita Vea lead blocker but unfortunately Fournette isn’t playing
