“Quick & Amazing”

Leonard Fournette has a memory

New Bucs running back Leonard Fournette served up a scouting report at Joe’s request today.

Tampa Bay fans are well aware that the Bucs are returning the NFL’s No. 1-ranked defense.

Well, Fournette faced that group last season and got mauled. Fournette finished with 14 rushes for just 38 yards against the Bucs, with a longest run of 10 yards. Joe asked him about that rush defense.

“Their front line was quick and amazing, linebackers fast,” Fournette said of the Bucs’ front-7. “They play with a lot of speed, a lot of attitude, and that’s what you want on a defense. … They got the offense the ball back a lot of times in that game, too. They came with their A-game and I’m happy to be with those guys now.”

In only three games did the Bucs run defense struggle to reach its high standards, twice against the Saints and in Seattle.

If they can lock down in New Orleans on opening day, Joe will be incredibly impressed.

I was at that game. Bucs definitely brought their A-game.
Foles stard that game and looked like total crap.
I remember laughing at Jags fans booing him at start of half-time.
Minshew started 2nd half and looked much better.

Did Arians take another shot at last years QB today?

I think every team does,” Arians said Tuesday. “We needed one last year, but we kept falling behind by 14 points in the first four minutes, so your run game’s out the window, especially in the two games against the Saints. That’s where we start every week: Where we’re going to run the football, how we’re going to run the football. So upgrading it from last year was really just a matter of eliminating turnovers early in the first quarter.”

That should rile up a few goobers on this site.
Arians always looking to replace lack of talent like Dotson, Dare, and Winston with someone better.

  3. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

The Saints are going to have a hard time running against us this coming Sunday. If our DBs took a step forward from the end of last season, it going to be a lot of 3 and outs for the Saints.

Considering in the first Saints game we had no TOs and at no point in the entire season we’re we down 14 in the first quarter it is just more flat out lies that some simply fall for.

That why I call him a lying, backstabbing, POS.

Also I must say it is very disappointing that no one in the media ever calls him out in his flat out lies. It’s truly disgusting and simple sad that the media here is so poor.

The only goobers here are the ones that believe the bold face lies that can easily and are quickly disproven.

  6. Mike Says:

He was obviously exaggerating N pup, much like you do with you know who’s QB ability.

  7. Ndog Says:

Mike that called lying, I don’t need to lie to make my point. I just state FACTS. That’s the difference between people who are full of sh!t and people who aren’t.

  8. geno711 Says:

Ndog – I was trolling you.
Just like you troll fans of this site many days.

I liked Winston and then disliked him. Too many turnovers for me. 30 interceptions and 12 fumbles last year — Ugh. Those turnovers were the facts that lost me.

Loved the Brady signing. Just beautiful.

  9. Ndog Says:

When you to lie to make your point clearly your hiding something and the liar, backstabbing, POS is clearly hiding something.

How can anyone have respect for a bold face liar?

How can any member of the media allow this to happen also shows how unbelievably crappy they are at their job as well. I guess the truth is optional now when they want a quote. Disgusting

  10. Mike Says:

N pup it doesn’t surprise me that you can’t understand the complexity of a real conversation.

  11. Mike Says:

The whole reason you defend that guy is the 5g yards passing, but if I had a running back that had 2,500 yards rushing and fumbled 15 times……. error ohhhh wait, no one would put up with a running back fumbling that much so it wouldn’t happen. Your boy had a WAY longer rope than he should have had.

  12. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Almost all the focus is on our offense because of Brady, Gronk, Wirfs…….but it will be our defense that surprises this year……mark it down!!!

  13. Godlovesbucs Says:

Ndog- you withhold full truth when you state “facts”. Withholding thruth is the same as lying in most peoples eyes. Instead of being unbiased and able to look at both sides of the coin you only bring up points that fit your narrative. It would be very refreshing to hear you talk positively about the team for a change.

  14. Ndog Says:

Like always you people are on here defending lies cause you have nothing else. He lied, he bold face lied and he does it because he knows you people will fall for it that’s the problem he knows people like you will fall for it that’s why he does it, so keep letting it happen and being a pawn in his little game.

  15. Mike Says:

If he was a 6th round pick no one would have ever dealt with it.

  16. Bill Says:

Go be a Saints fan dude. Everyone is tired of your crap.

  17. Ndog Says:

So you’re ok with your coach being a liar?

What does this have to do with liking a player or not?

This has nothing to do with any one player, HE IS A LIAR plain and simple.

So you tell me to go away cause you don’t want the truth? He does these things cause he believes the fans are to stupid to know the truth! He lies right in your face and smiles cause he knows people will just lap it up. It’s disgusting and I for one am not the idiot he thinks all fans are, I wont just accept his lies.

  18. Steven007 Says:

Negative dog, like Ricky gervais says all the time, no one cares. Your boy is gone, poof! No. One. Cares. If you’re a fan of the team you’re a fan of the team. If you’re a fan of the guy who’s now third string on the Saints go on with your bad self.

I will start believing you when you don’t just parrot everything a faceless nameless twitter troll whose sources are “dude trust me” says.

  21. Buc1987 Says:

    Ndog you need help.

  22. Tampabuscsbro Says:

    Doesn’t literally every coach lie?

I’m just saying there is this thing called coach speak that a lot of people don’t understand. Sure some are more up in arms then others about it because they believe their guy was wronged. But how many other QBs would have been benched if they played as erratically and bad as Winston did multiple times through the season? He was never benched for bad play not once. But supposedly he was “backstabbed”

  23. Greg Says:

Ndog, this all about JW to you and who are you kidding! Who is looking like a liar? Negativity is not good for the soul, get the heck out of here and go to the saints site and say something positive about JW you it will be good for your soul!

  24. buc1948 Says:

I am all in with the new team this year, and I was and still am a JW3 fan. but he is gone not to return, I must say this the bucs will rue the day the let him go.

  25. Tampabuscsbro Says:

    Bruce Arians

    >Said to the press he will give Jameis Winston the year.
    >pumped him up the whole year.
    >Season ends
    >has a rough year
    >Arians believes it’s time to move on
    >Arians stayed true to his word giving Winston the year.
    >Literally the only person who says other wise is a faceless nameless twitter troll who wrote a book.

    Am I missing anything guys?

tbh I can’t wait what to see what Ndog is typing up.

  26. Bird Says:

Dont even give NSlob the time of day.

On sundays , we will be rooting for the bucs to BALL, drinking beers, grilling steaks and /or smoking A pork butt

Meanwhile Ndog will be rooting for brady to fail and will be thinking of smoking jameis ‘ pole.

  27. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

geno711. I agree. Thought it was a nice, much-deserved jab at the departed goofball.

  28. Anonymous Says:

Well, Saints camp reports say Jameis has had less than 50% completion rate throughout camp. Maybe Arians saw something NDog didn’t?

  29. Ndog Says:

I love the fact that you guys just ignore the lies. Again this just proves you will believe anything your told. This fan base is in a sad sad state of affairs. Enjoy the lies fellas, like I’ve said since day one karma will come and unfortunately we are going to pay for this lying, backstabbing, POS.

  30. Tampabuscsbro Says:

Ndog with his grandeurs of delusion at it again. Your only source is a faceless nameless twitter troll who wrote a book.

  31. Ndog Says:

My source is me, unlike most I actually watch the games and think for myself. I’m not brainwashed like most that post on this site.

  32. Ndog Says:

Again another post that ignores the lies and attacks me. It is laughable how sad the arguments are, you people have nothing because you know he is a liar. There is simply nothing you can say.

  33. Howard Cosell Says:

Get a hold of yourself man!

  34. Oneilbucs Says:

Tampabusco The only thing I will say about Bruce Arians is this last year he when ask about the running game he did say that he don’t value that position at all . But when Brady came he brought in 4 different runningbacks when Brady looked bad during the scrimmage. Last year he said that the offensive line was ok they just need to be coach up and he drafted a offensive lineman in the first round . He did tell Jamies to keep slanging it and never maid no adjustment from game to game . He did have Jamies throwing the ball 45 times a game even when we were leading in the games . And he’s not going to ask Brady to throw 45 times a game . So some people can say maybe he did set Jamies up to fail because he likes older quarterbacks and that’s why Terry Bradshaw called him out on it . Even Payton Manning called him out on his playbook . So Bruce Arians is not
INNOCENT in this situation either . But I do like Rosen !! GO BUCS ..

  35. Bucsfan951 Says:

I’m just glad the coach had a pair and finally got rid of the cancer that was plaguing this team.

  36. Buczilla Says:

The offense should be fine eventually and I’m damn glad that we’re hearing positive stuff about the defense again. Totally ready for football!

  37. Bucsfan951 Says:

I’m seriously glad JW is gone!

    1. 16 ints in the first half
    2. 24 ints in bucs territory
    3. 8 ints within the Bucs own 20 yard line
    4. 16 ints within bucs 21-50
    5. 8tds to 10 ints thrown in the first quarter
    6. Pass attempts 1-10 to start the game 6tds/11ints
    7. Only 10 tds in the second half thrown by Winston.

Yes, he’s balling! I just checked the sheet!!! I prefer my qbs to use yahoo instead of google!

You grabbed my attention with your remarks, geno711. I guess I should not be reading theses comments at this time of night! 🤓 🙄

When you said “Arians always looking to replace lack of talent like Dotson, Dare, and Winston with someone better.” My first reaction was you should mean “lack of performance”. I started to get riled. 🤯

Then I discovered that you were actually trolling a troll. 😋

Guess i will shut down for the night now . 🥱

    Joes (and Sage),

Haven’t missed a Bucs game since ‘00 and have been a day one religious follower of this website (check the hits coming from Quebec!). I need an explanation for why, unbelievably, I have zero level of excitement for the current season. It has to be some sort of battered wife syndrome. Just doesn’t feel right. Doesn’t seem like signing free agents is the way a 12 year playoff drought ends. I thought we were on the right track w Jameis. My brain tells me that this isn’t the way the NFL story is written. I feel like I need to spend this season as an “observer” rather than I fan, which is unbelievably upsetting. Need your wisdom!

  41. Joe Says:

The Bucs knew they had a limited window with Jameis. And by adding a few pieces and letting him go, they have one more year left in that window. The team is clearly not far from being really good. Only issue is can this offense come together in time to win games before it’s too late?

They could have tried Gabbert qt QB, not gotten Gronk, not gotten Fournette, and likely would have finished 5-11. Barring injury, it seems hard to believe the Bucs won’t contend for a playoff berth. This is the best roster this team has had in a long while and some believe as good or better than the Super Bowl champs.

  42. CPN Says:

What karma? What did Bruce Arians do to hurt you?

  43. BillyBucFan Says:

My prediction for the year on this site.
Every time the Bucs lose, NPup will be active.
Every time the Bucs win, NPup will be in hiding.

Good news is we should only hear from him for 4 weeks.
Bad news is we hear from him at all.

  44. Roadwarrior Says:

Can ndogsh!t please tell us about the lies. I would love to here more about all this lying going on. You keep puking out all this BS. Please tell us about all these lies. So you’re smarter than 90% of the people on this site but you really never say nothing 2 back it up come on I want to hear it you’re obviously not a Bucs Fan but you are Bruce Arians hater we got that. Winston ball slurper for sure. Let’s get to the meat and potatoes why you’re such a hater.

  45. RustyRhinos Says:

Ndog, for a fan who says he brings only “facts” and does not “lie” about your favorite former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Player. While holding other fans accountable for their words being factual on your favorite former Tampa Bay Buccaneer player. Where do you stand on your favorite former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Players actions of Truth, Facts and Lies in his little “hassle” in AZ? You know the one who does not hold those same standards with, his employer, his coaches, or his brothers in blood, sweat, and tears on the footbal field? You preach that you are only about Truth and you do not Lie about the Facts, of your favorite former Tampa Bay Buccaneer player. So can you please tell us where you stand on the topic of Truth, Facts, and Lies from the actions of your favorite former Tampa Bay Buccaneer player. Thanks. You can “check ya sheet” yeah check it, it is all there.

Hated us playing against Fournette, very excited that he is now a BUC! Tough RB with good hands that is so difficult to tackle. Play after play after play!
Ready to watch him play on our offense! He looks like he is trying to hit defenders harder than they want to hit him, causing punishment to the defender play after play after play. They do get worn out with that. Opposing LB, CB, S all grow tired of being ran thru, over, or into. Something that Vaughn also has positive traits of. Excited to have McCoy, Fournette, working and sharing their knowledge with Jones and Vaughn this season. My dream would be to resign Fournette, Jones next season. Draft another RB next year. build with youth and experience.
    GO BUCS!!!
