Chris Godwin Is Dangerous

Back last week when the Bucs were still in training camp mode, it was odd when Bucco Bruce Arians was asked why Chris Godwin had two straight days off.
Arians sort of snapped and said, “That’s for me to know and nobody else to find out.”
It was strange coming from Arians, normally a straight-shooter, who during training camp is rather open about injuries. He will start clamming up when the Bucs return next week to prepare for the slimy Saints.
That comment was sort of swept under the rug as Godwin practiced the next day and he seems to be in good health.
And so our Godwin’s numbers, which are just fantastic. The gerbils over at the PFF Tribe decided to hop off their wheels yesterday and offer an analysis of his dangerous stats. It seems only two receivers last year had had more yards after contact than Godwin. And those two are sick receivers, Michael Thomas and DeAndre Hopkins. Godwin, we know, is a very physical receiver.
Man, it is scary to think what this offense could be this year if everything is humming.
Most receiving yards after contact among WRs since 2018:
1. Michael Thomas – 632
2. DeAndre Hopkins – 617

hopkins only averaged 11 yards per catch, even with all that yac…
not good at all…
thomas only 13 yards…
chris was at 15 per catch

Pretty sure that this dude is already our best third round pick behind Ronde Barber in Buc history.

I absolutely LOVE Evans and Godwin and with Godwin being in year 3 last year and with Mike getting the bulk of #1 CBS he had a career year.
I fully believe Evans will be far better this year and approach 20 TDs.
He is simply Elite and Brady will show it.

Saints are gonna need J Clowney to compete with this offense IMO.
Still won’t matter much.
I believe the Bucs crush the Saints by 2 TDs.

Yeah, compared to those two he played a far less pct of snaps since last year was his first actually starting! His avg yards per catch is much better also.

I’m going to jump in while the YOU PEOPLE MOVEMENT are still in line at THE GOLDEN ARCHES trying to get that sausage and biscuit! The Offense was ranked 3rd on the league last year, it was lethal, aggressive, downfield attack mode all game long, which made it entertaining but subject to turnovers, with no running game, which barring injury should not be a weakness in 2020! That was Mr. 5000 giving “EVERYTHING” miscues and all! It was what it was! This is a new and ALL IN year, seems we are strong at all positions! Dare I say one of the best running back groups in team history! I’m a fan GO BUCS, HENNY AND HOG, get yo-self some!!!

I have no doubt he’ll be extended.
I don’t really care who gets the ball so long as we score TDs. I trust the players are on board with this. Some will eat more than others sometimes. But we will win.

How the heck do you know that SB, even if he was not on a roster (SAINTS) at this moment, the season is 16 weeks young and some starting QB will go down and there may have been or still will be a team come knocking on his door maybe even the BUCS (stranger things) and I would hope the answer would be GO fight with the Devil!! gp : it’s a systemic thing! If we went and got Mo Sanu we would be unstoppable. That Toms old target from last year Joes. He don’t need to build chemistry with him. That offense could wreck havoc all year long.

$acbuc$-no way get mo sanu he is done ….the pats cut him bc he is slow cant seperate and drops balls…thats why atl got rid of him too….and it wasnt toms fav target by any means…but i am now a bucs fan bc gotta follow my boy brady and gronk its cool cause im from sav so its kind of local team ….and im pissed at wha BB did to brady and i want brady another ring for dissing him and giving him absolutley nobody to throw too. The bucs are looking scary !!! One more good reciver though would be nice and we need better passing coverage it was pretty bad last year idk if the cbs have been upgraded but def going to sb!!! Week 1 is gonna be tough and its on the road but they wont be able to stop brady and CO.!!!!!!
