Tom Brady Coaches Up Tight Ends

August 4th, 2020

Kickoff against the Saints is in 40 days.

From this morning’s session at One Buc Palace, Brady is coaching up tight ends in the video below. (Running backs run routes in the background. LeSean McCoy is the smooth, quick guy running the final route seen.)

no mask and no social distancing ? Fauci will be mad at you.

Finally, a QB with real credibility, that when see work like this happening, we can say with a straight face, “That’s the Bucs QB leading the way” as it should be, as it usually is with any NFL team. It’s great to have Tom Brady here…can’t say it enough.

No politics at the JBF big boy table, but yeah, what the hell??? These guys are sweating, breathing on each other, in small huddles??? Let them f#cking strap up. What is the point of not doing that? Is it because they haven’t got enough time in with them? If they’re going to put in all these rules and precautions, do it now and test it out. Or decision has been made to cancel and they’re letting the media get the most they can before the NFL makes it public.

“Kickoff against the Saints in 40 days.”

I need to take a moment and let that sink in…

I’m surprised there are no masks. I thought the NFL and NFLPA agreed on masks while working out? That was never agreed upon. Masks optional on the field.–Joe

I’m personally fine with no masks seeing as they went thru 2 tests…but if one slips through, we could see an entire unit get quarantined. Mandated. Seems reckless.

Then again, I’m more concerned with how the NFL will respond to it.

I like how lots of people are saying Brady is to old to win the division, like Drew Brees isnt old either.

Doing his job, like the professional he is, getting everybody on the same page.

ncbucsfan – I thought the same thing. When you see Gronk with his girlfriend or other online shots, you don’t really get the sense of how big he his. Put him next to the other TEs an you go, well Dang, that boy got some heft to him.

I wear a mask everywhere…EXCEPT…when I exercise. This means the only “social” exercise I get is tennis. No more gym because I simply do not feel healthy huffing and puffing in my own carbon dioxide. Doesn’t bother me when I’m breathing normally but to get a cardio effect you must breathe hard…IE be a contagious person without plenty of outdoor distancing….IE tennis…golf..biking and kayaking. I don’t want to do any of that in a mask.

There is no way to play football safely in the age of Covid. But the league has done everything possible to mitigate the risk and any damage from the disease.

But there is NO way to actually play football..practice football…unless EVERY participant is covid free. With lots of point of contact testing with quick results I still believe that is doable. Perhaps wishful thinking but if they do like ole Barney Fife on Mayberry used to say…”Nip it! Nip it in the bud!. If they catch infected players BEFORE they hit the field all the blowing of hot breath on each other will be harmless. Unless they have bad breath of course.
