Pay Attention!

August 19th, 2020

Good reason to be ticked.

Interesting observation from an NFL Network reporter embedded with the Bucs.

James Palmer is filing daily reports on Bucs practices likely until the season opener. Judging by his YouTube videos and live spots in the afternoons from One Buc Palace, Palmer is fully freaked out by the daily Florida thunderstorms.

In his report yesterday, Palmer noted that park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady was irked when a couple of his passes didn’t connect late in practice. One ball bounced off Mike Evans’ hip.

Palmer explains the reason why Brady was peeved was that receivers weren’t ready for the passes. In the NFL Network video below, Palmer details why Bucs receivers were not ready for the ball.

It didn’t take Joe too long at practice yesterday to understand why Bucs receivers were overall fired up about Brady throwing to them.

The tidbit about the running backs was eye-raising. Arians didn’t even believe it lol.

THAT’S the Spirit Clean House. Nice! Can You FEEL IT or What! There WILL BE PLEASURE this season. I CAN FEEL IT to….

    GO BUCS!

The receivers aren’t ready for the ball being there that quick. New sheriff in town, better be ready.

Quick, clean releases. Receivers have a little more than 3 weeks to get used to it. Brady’s got to recognize the talent he’s working with and not get too frustrated. The receivers just need a little acclimation. They’ll be ready! YAC this season will be much improved, as Brady will hit them in stride.

    Awesome stuff. Football!

Can you blame the WRs? They’ve had to unlearn 5 years of faux-QBing. I mean, they’re used to erratic placement and just go get it kind of “precision”. There will be YAC and hopefully no lay-out-the-WR-for-an-injury kind of throws.

I hope the younger QBs are paying attention, we may have the future QB on the roster after Brady gets done teaching these people what it takes.

    All hail to the GOAT.

To be honest, what I would give to be camp meat soaking up knowledge from Tom Friggin Brady. I hope he writes a book like Joe Montana did on The Art of Quarterbacking.

For the love of god, please stop with the descriptors before the names. As a writer you should know how weird it is as a reader to instinctively have to skip words you’ve seen too many times just to get back into the flow of the thought.

    Chris, good luck with that…
