There are injury updates, and then there are injury updates.
Joe’s photo here is a look at safety Justin Evans at practices this month. He’s on the physically unable to perform list after years of foot issues and other injuries.
Bucco Bruce Arians was asked for an update on Evans’ playing status today and replied, “You’d have to talk to Jesus.”
Enough said.

Pull the plug already. It’s got to be Licht holding out hope, after all he was picked in the dreaded second round, and Licht can’t have another one fail injury, or not. Isn’t his contract up by now? Dude’s made a nice career on I.R.. Glad it’s not my loot Licht’s paying to keep his bust alive. Way past time to cut bait.

If he is on injured reserve ho has it hurt us to keep him? He is not taking up a roster spot. If he don’t get better we lose nothing if he gets better we have a promising safety.

Damn shame, kid has talent. I know that Licht is on the upswing, but if we don’t make the playoffs this year, he’s gotta go.

His legs don’t look like they’ve been booted for two years. I understand BA and the fans frustration but if he didn’t have a decent chance to return heathy he wouldn’t be here now. I’m sure lots of us have re-injured ourselves trying to get back too soon.
