A Taste Of Padded Practices

August 17th, 2020

Hitting.

UPDATED: 9:59 a.m. – Joe was under the impression Twittering from Bucs practices was verboten. Alas, The Shield’s house organ has different rules. 🙂

Joe’s kidding. Those rules have been turned off for the portion of training camp that kicked off this morning. James Palmer of NFL Network is embedded with the Bucs at least for the month. Why is that? Simple: park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Tom Brady, that’s why.

Today is the first padded practice for the Bucs. And Palmer twittered out a play from practice this morning.

Today will be a busy day. Aside from the joy and excitement that the pads *finally* came on, the Bucs are making a ton of coaches and players available for Zoom conference calls later this morning.

So keep checking JoeBucsFan.com for all kinds of content on this fine Monday. Well, as fine as a work Monday can be.

Not really a big deal, but looks like #13 Evans to me. Could be wrong.

I’m most interested in Wirfs v. JPP. If the rook can hold his own that would solve an important piece of the O line puzzle moving forward. Thanks for the updates Joseph.

Not long ago, a reporter being assigned to the bucs would be akin to being sent to Siberia. Albeit, a very warm Siberia…

great shot of TWO receivers catching balls from different QB’s. When i used to go down to training camp with Jameis as QB, all i’d see are overthrows and drops!

Man this is exciting! Superbowl or bust
    Go Bucs

That is Mike Evans, not Godwin, FYI.
