Tristan Wirfs Talks About His Tom Brady Meeting

What happens when Tom Brady meets one of his newest teammates assigned to protect him, a monster of a young man born in 1999?
Today Joe asked Tristan Wirfs to describe his inaugural Brady encounter and how he felt about.
The manbeast out of Iowa got detailed.
“The first time I met [Brady], we were just kind of coming around a corner and met each other and he said, ‘What’s up, big dog?” Wirfs said. “I thought it was kind of crazy, you know, because it’s Tom Brady. He asked me how old I was and I told him 21, and he kind of started laughing. And he said something about, ‘You think you have experience. I’ve got double the experience.’ I was like, ‘Yeah.’ That’s really about it. I waved to him when he was leaving the other day. He seems really nice. I’m excited to get to be his teammate.”
Later, Wirfs went on to carefully say, without coming off as disrespectful, that Brady is just a guy and while there’s an awe factor, it’s not a big deal.

Sounds like the ‘awe factor’ wont be hindering Wirfs from doing his job

Interesting. No, odd, really. Given Brady has well more than twice the experience, and seems a bit wierd to say anyway. But, as we know, Brady’s an introvert, keeps within his shell, is not really well known. 🙂

That’s how I read it. Brady is exactly twice his age.

Of the first 20 playes ran on offense, let’s just say Big Nasty is at both guard spots and both tackle spots, looking for where he can be a dominating factor…now what in the world is going through the DEFENCES mind!!

Finally the Bucs got him back for that.
While Vinny gets a lot of hate, there is no way he wasn’t better than Dilfer — and had we had Vinny the Bucs get to the SB in the 1999 season. Then Dungy is never fired and Gruden is never hired and never has the chance to destroy the franchise.

Tom Brady
Starting with a new Team, all have to play a bit to know each other, Tom is a master at his job. Few to no one, ever had the ability to read the other team
That Tom Brady has, He will know more about the ability of his new team mates, than they know about themselves in a matter of days. He will use that ability to place them as well as he can. Will be a interesting year watching him.
