Excited for the season.
Last week, when park-violating, home-invading Bucs quarterback Tom Brady was discovered by paparazzi working out wearing a Bucs practice jersey and a helmet, people got pumped.
One was popular sports TV and radio host Adam Schein of CBS and SiriusXM fame. In an interview with Lavonte David, Schein found a kindred spirit.
Schein said he was stoked seeing Brady wear a creamsicle jersey and pewter helmet and could envision Brady throwing many touchdowns as the Bucs march deep in the playoffs.
“I was thinking the same thing,” David said.
“I was thinking all of those guys participating. All of the guys who he is going to be getting the ball to, throwing the ball to. I was thinking a lot of touchdowns being made.”
David said he got fired up about the Bucs chances when Brady reached out to him just after signing and made it clear he had done a lot of research on the team.
“I spoke with him a couple of days after he signed,” David said. “We FaceTimed and had a great conversation. All positive. We had a lot of good things to talk about. We are excited to play together.”
David now says the Bucs are expected to win games.
“This is a team he can win with,” David said of Brady, adding that’s why he’s here. “It was a priority to bring everybody back [on defense]. We got the band back together [defensively].
“Last year was last year.”
This football season can’t get here fast enough and if it starts on time, we are just 16 weeks way.
The way our lives have been turned upside down, seeing football kicked off will be like a kid waiting for Santa to come down the chimney.
And David is as geeked as the rest of us.

LVD is a monster and hopefully he stays healthy. Of course Brady staying healthy is paramount, otherwise we hasz Blaine Goobert.

LVD is the most underrated Buc on the roster!!!!!!!!! In fact, the “real” fans think he is the only “real” Buc on the roster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The “real” buc fans thank everyday that Butch Davis pounded the table during the draft for him!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the “real” fans are also thankful that Tampabaybucfan did not try to compare him to Shelton Quarles or some other Buc from over 20 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the “no excuse” season of all “no excuse” seasons!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The NFL brass obviously think we’re contenders too as evidenced by the late bye week. Hopefully, any injuries we may have are minor and we can use the late bye week to prepare for a strong playoff push.

I can’t think of a player more deserving to play in a playoff game or pro bowl…….he’s the closest we have to Brooks……

Great point! Just another payment on the TB12 love the NFL has. I’m hoping it continues out on the field and nobody is allowed to touch him without a flag. Why change now?

Dang…now I’m bummed. I got all jacked up to see the golf and the course is underwater. They’re still warming up but I do not see how they play with puddles on the greens.
Normally not a fan of “junk” golf but we’re all starved right now and like everybody I wanted to see how much run the Bucs get today. And I must confess it’s an interesting group of personalities in formats that we’ve all played at the company meeting.

Brady knows Evans and David have never played in a playoff game. Going to be very happy for those 2. Watching Brady play golf right now, the Tampa Bayist thing that will happen is for a core injury on his swing on live tv that sidelines him for 7 months. The talking heads would have a feast.

Front seven was sick last year in Bowels’ first year. They’re all returning except the loss of Nassib for year two. High ceiling secondary will continue to rise cus it won’t fall. They’re pumped as anyone on the team.

Our starting QB from last year is now 3rd on the Saint’s depth chart. Our starter this year is arguably the best QB of all time. We should all be fired up!
