Major Props Or Kiss Of Death?

April 27th, 2020

This is one hell of an accomplishment by Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht.

Or he’s a walking dead man.

None other than the PFF tribe has weighed in on the recently completed NFL draft. And the tribe, using their dubious and notorious grades, believe Licht had a haul last week.

Joe honestly doesn’t know if compliments from this outfit is a good or a bad thing. It sort of smells like Michael Corleone giving his older brother Fredo, who was passed over, the kiss of death for conspiring with Johnny Ola (later known an “Uncle June“) in Cuba.

Just to be safe, if Joe were Licht, Joe wouldn’t go fishing on a lake for a while.

One heck of an accomplishment by Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles.

    Oh..an inside joke…

If that’s the case we really got a steal on Tyler Johnson…..should have been a 2nd round pick we got in the 5th…..

Barring injury Winfield Jr is going to be an excellent safety in this league. Wirfs is the first true freshman to start at Iowa. I am excited to see him block for years to come. Tyler Johnson flashes but does not have consistent hands. I think he has 18 drops over his career. He also doesn’t have a ton of explosiveness or ability to separate. I predict that at best he will be a possession receiver.

If we have four guys make the team…..two start, one contribute part time….that will be a solid draft. When you do that back to back, you make huge strides in the roster as well as cap management.

  6. K2 Says:

The kiss of death is drafting good players…that fit needs? Based on that logic…I guess we should have won the Super Bowl with Vernon. Oh by the way, Mike Evans had a lot of drops too (he’s ok).

  7. TOM Says:

No one can say right now that so & so is going to be a excellent this or that until they play. Putting the cart before the horse. They may all be good or better than expected even a UDFA or two. But lets just wait and see. I’m going to make a prediction if the WR Johnson turns out to be the next Godwin I wouldn’t be surprised if Evans is on the trading block next year but thats a long way off. But you heard it here first.

The kiss of death is when Team Glazer gives you a multi-year contract extension out of the blue when you don’t deserve one. They love to fire people with multiple years remaining on their contracts. They must have about three coaching staffs still on the payroll. #PaidFloridaVacation

    Joe:
Is Fredo the CNN reporter that had corona virus but left his home and got into an argument with a guy riding his bike that called him out for it in front of the house that same reporter is currently building?

These 3 are solid choices and 2 will start… the deciding factor on genius versus merely competent is going to be the RB. If Vaughn turns into a Kamara-like player… wow. Even if he’s merely solid we’ll be fine.

I don’t think Jason has any swim with the fishes in his future after the last 3 FA/vet crops and drafts… lots to be proud of.

  13. Bird Says:

    Good to hear

I think johnson could be receiver #3

The waiting game will be the running back we took to high in third. Lets see what he can do behind a better line. His line in college was ranked in the hundreds. And he was going against SEC teams

    Is Fredo the CNN reporter

It Joe a while to connect the dots here. 🙂

    Mitch— directly from PFF’s site
“….. Johnson generates separation at one of the highest rates in the class, but even when he doesn’t, he owns one of the highest contested-catch rates in the class as well. That’s how you earn back-to-back receiving grades over 90.0. ”

Watch his highlights it’s actually kind of ridiculous how much he gets open. The uncontested drops are a concern though but I think that’s a cold weather thing that can be fixed.

I don’t think it has sunk in To most how ridiculous our offense is going to be. Our lack of depth on the offensive line is troubling but I expect us to bring in a vet to compete (after we restructure a deal or release some bloated contracts).

yep cuomo ‘s … all a bunch of liberal Biatches

  18. Bucsfan1988 Says:

Ocala, yeah Chris Cuomo is who you sure talking about. Total a$$-clown.

Had the incident with the guy in the bike very recently. Saw the interview with the biker only a few days ago. Cuomo was supposed to be quarantined indoors w Coronavieus bit was outside with a few people in front of his new home being built.

Some months before that, he got into another fight with a guy at a bar that video’d Cuomo’s reaction after being called Fredo.
Yeah he didn’t take it very well, lol! 😂😂😂
