“He Has Everything He Needs”

April 30th, 2020

Tom Brady and his weapons.

So does anyone have more luck than Tom Brady? It’s hard to argue that someone might.

Look, in just the first few weeks he’s been in Tampa, he’s been allowed to housesit Derek Jeter’s waterfront pad, sketchy WiFi and all; he isn’t cited by one of Jane Castor’s goons for violating lockdown orders; and isn’t shot in the face when he wanders into a complete stranger’s house in broad daylight like a brazen hood trying to lift someone’s jewelry.

Joe believes that is a lucky man.

Well, Nate Burleson of NFL Network also believes Brady is lucky on the field. No quarterback in the NFL has better weapons than Brady, so Burleson said recently on “Good Morning Football.”

“He has everything he needs,” Burleson said. “He has a couple of good wide receivers. They are tall. They are strong. They are two of the best in the league.

“He has his boy coming out of retirement, Gronk. The best tight end of all time when you look at his numbers, statistically.

“He has the coach who is literally going to let him fly. … All of a sudden, he has freedom.”

This is all well and good but are we talking about the 2010 version of Brady or the 2020 version?

It’s going to be a very interesting season. Will Brady find the fountain of youth while playing in the Sunshine State? Burleson believes yes, because Burleson said old people like the weather.

Kay Adams is so damn sexy!

Saints vs. Bucs are gonna be even crazier games than normal this year I think. Fireworks for sure.

Can we start the season now, please?

  8. Casual Observer Says:

    Formerly – Well said.

  9. Ndog Says:

In all seriousness in regards the weather it is something he should really be cautious about because those of us that have lived here are entire lives and have been to game after game after game do understand that the heat is very taxing and practicing here and playing here game after game after game it does wear on you. The shortened season actually might help him if that were to take place but he should be well aware this is not quite the same as playing in New England.

  10. Joe in Michigan Says:

A signing I’d like to see for Bucs, if a few players would restructure…Jason Peters to play Right Tackle. Wirfs could play RG his rookie year, Cappa would be backup RG, and teach him to play Center (if he’s good there, maybe a cheaper C than Jensen next year). Greatly improves our starters and depth on the O-Line, with good injury insurance (Peters goes to LT if D Smith were to be injured).

  11. Youngbucs Says:

Joe all Brady has to do is play like he did last year. His number were fine last season with no weapons and no run gm. He 4057yds 24tds and 8ints those numbers will be even better with our players.

  12. LM Says:

Brady is the Master! Plays the game like chess. He’s surrounded by some of the best players in the League on this Offense. He’s got an Arsenal of weapons!! Arguable the best Offense he’s ever been in. An Offensive Mastermind in Bruce Arians, The QB Whisperer. (Yes The Bucs Staff knows how to Coach. No professional learns from Google lol)

Time to Win another Championship. The Time is Now!

    Go Bucs!!

  13. Coburn Says:

LOL all the guys in here pining over these women. I’d agree, but sadly the reality without all that makeup is undoubtedly quite different. It’s scary how basic a lot of these ‘beautiful’ women really look.

  14. geno711 Says:

I appreciated Kay Adams the most in this clip.

  15. Imon Says:

Brady has everything he needs. It would be really nice if among these things was the respect of this blog… the bromance with the QB who is now getting paid less than Brett Hundley (!!!) is rather strange…

  16. Oneilbucs Says:

yep superbowl or bust no excuses !!!

  17. SOEbuc Says:

Wirfs needs to play whatever position he needs to play to be able to swing to LT in 2021. Dumping Donovan Smith’s contract is a must for retaining big weapon contracts like Godwin, Shaq, and LVD.

  18. Mike Johnson Says:

hate to be the dean in the..Den Of depression but…every year its ben..No Excuses. I won’t say it again. Buc fans are so delirious in this hype. I’ll let you drink that kool-aid to access. And then when the old man goes down….Whats that backup QB name?

  19. Buczilla Says:

Geez, Kay Adams looks like she just got out of bed and she is still gorgeous. Cool video.

  20. Youngbucs Says:

Oneilbucs we could win the Super Bowl and you’d still be mad I know about you.

  21. DoooshLaRue Says:

The only way I could respect Master Tom any more is if he dumped Giselle and bagged Kay!

…… or you know, if he could manage 2-chick formation.

  22. Lars Tatersalad Says:

I can’t remember what comic it was who said Brady is the one guy who can watch a leo DiCaprio movie and say to Giselle “pfffft…..I can’t believe you used to f this guy”

  23. lambchop Says:

2020 Brady had scrubs to throw to. The one game against Miami where he had an elite WR, he found pay dirt. Brady, as long as he’s upright, is going to be giddy in the pocket. He’ll have to pinch himself in the huddle. He has NEVER had this many weapons at once.

What’s even greater than all the weapons is that none of the weapons he currently has are DIVAS. Gronk doesn’t have to be the bulk of the offense either. It’s a win-win for Brady and Gronk to be surrounded by this much talent. Now, they just have to install a winning mentality.

My only concern is the play calling. If it’s not tailored to Brady’s strengths, heads will roll.
