So stoked. I know he’s old and we aren’t getting an athlete in their prime but Brady is different. There is no point of comparison. He hasn’t taken the beating that Manning or Farve took over their careers, he’s been a rock and he takes better care of his body than anybody. I finally decided to watch Tom vs Time last night and it just pumped me up even more. Tom Brady loves football more than I ever gave him credit for. It’s not about money. He wanted to be paid because he wanted to be appreciated. A lot of people say that but to have accomplished everything he has accomplished in his career and with all he has in his life, to still have that passion and drive and willingness to make the sacrifices to continue to be great, there is no way he isn’t going to make every single member of this organization better. I say it every year but I’ve never been so excited for a season to start. Can’t wait for the beautiful Brady family to bring this city something to cheer for again. Now show us these new uniforms already!

This makes the Bucs the 2020 version of last year’s Browns.
By week 5 Brady will be deep into realizing that he made a huge mistake while being carted off the field on a stretcher. As Ron White says, ya can’t fix stupid and that’s what these Buccaneers are. It’s systemic. Don’t forget the idiot kicker, or the lack of a RB, or the inconsistent OL particularly on blitz pickup. Brady may know protections but that doesn’t mean the OL does, and last I checked, Brady isn’t getting into a three point stance to pass block.
But yeah, let’s anoint the Bucs as super bolw contenders. Riiiiiiigggghhhht.

This forever changes what it means to be a Buc. Not just in terms of wins and losses, but in terms of culture, outlook and attitude. As TBBF said a couple days ago, TB12 demands everyone around him give 100 percent. The days of showing up and expecting to get paid are over.
I like Jameis personally and I wish him the best. I think he worked real hard here and I appreciate that.
