Arians: “We Ain’t Accepting This Sh*t Anymore”

December 9th, 2019

Three wins in a row and Bucco Bruce Arians is pounding his chest, or at least he was earlier at One Buc Palace.

The Bucs were eliminated from the playoffs for the 12th consecutive season yesterday while they upped their record to 6-7. But like Joe and most Bucs fans, Arians is pleased to see his team figuring out how to win.

For a few weeks now Arians has been chatting about how the Bucs now come to stadiums expecting to chalk up a “W.”

The subject of the Bucs’ incessant losing came up today and Arians was, well, Arians. “We ain’t accepting this sh*t anymore,” he said with the cameras rolling.

Joe knows that talk is as much for the players (who eventually will see/hear Arians on video) as it is for the fans who eat that stuff up.

Joe loves it! Now let’s see the Bucs back it up — even if Jameis Winston is done for the season.

Bruce problably got drunk last night. He problably didn’t expect to win 3 in a row. Today he was hangover.

Sit Jameis. Sit Evans. Let’s see what we have in Watson. Perriman. Griffin.

Rumors coming from one Bucs place is cappa will move to RT. Bucs will draft Tyler Biadasz, G, Wisconsin. Next year

  6. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Tyler Biadasz, the Guard from Wisconsin will be an excellent pick for us.
Though his team lost to Ohio State last week, he did an excellent job both run blocking and pass protecting against future NFL Players!

  7. Tye Says:

Titans, proving to be the better team, bench Mariota and now tied for top spot in their division and gave themselves a strong opportunity to be in the playoffs again since these 2 were drafted…
If half these Turnovers did not exist (many turned into points for the opponent) could the Bucs season have gone the same way? With panther and Falcons having down years, I believe so.. to bad they kept playing this Jabroni winsfew!

  8. DalvinCookRules Says:

So, they were accepting losing prior to today??

  9. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

Titans have a better GM than the bucs in addition to a better qb or less turn over prone guy

  10. Pewter power Says:

Everyone except the clueless already know what we have in Griffin a perennial backup it took until age 30 to get a snap in a regular season game. Why do you ifiots need to see Griffin? You are saying he’s gonna be the one to compete with a rookie if winston walks. On the dumbest of our fanbase are still saying let winston walk even now knowing we wont get a top ten draft pick

  11. bojim Says:

Sounds like BA is finally getting back in the game?

Mariota has a .476 record in the NFL . What’s Jamies record? answer .403
Don’t let facts get in the way of your opinion . SO SAD in deed !!!!!!

Well most of the posters on this website aren’t Bucs fans since they were mad the Bucs have been winning because they hate Winston so much.

ou812 – Winston is 4-1 in the last 5 NFL games, what’s Mariota’s record? LOL!

  15. whats the bucs plan 2020 Says:

Horay horay we won 6 games !!! We should celebrate !!

season is over …. actually has been for awhile ….. now we can all get on the same page …. develope and evaluate talent with a eye to keeping the best and manage the salary cap and somehow reduce our turnovers …Hmmm how do we do that ??

  16. Dewey Selmon Says:

Congrats to Jameis for surpassing 1,000 career rushing yards. It only took Tom Brady 20 years to achieve that.

  17. Rod Munch Says:

Dewey Selmon – 1,019 yards and 10 TDs. The 1019 yards puts him 16th all-time on the Bucs rushing list, while 10 TDs ties him with Michael Pittman at 14th on the all-time Bucs rushing list.

If you look at the top 20 rushers in Bucs history, Winston is 4th, again tied with Pittman, with a 4.2 yard average. Josh Freeman is 1st at 4.7 ypc.

  18. D-Rome Says:

Congrats to Jameis for surpassing 1,000 career rushing yards. It only took Tom Brady 20 years to achieve that.

Congrats to Jameis for throwing his 9th career Pick 6. If he manages to throw just four more he’ll be tied with Tom Brady. It took Brady 19 years to get to that mark. WinsTOn will get to that mark by next season or 2021. He’s so close!!!

  19. Robert Says:

    correction… I didn’t want Mariota……just anyone but JW the numbskull… er numbthumb

  20. bucs4ya Says:

It’s a no win situation with done of these so called fans. If we lose the last 3 y’all talk about how bad we’d are. We win the last 3 and it’s the team’s we played sucked anyways. Smh. How bout being happy they finally beat some teams we should beat. I’ll take the wins over draft position. What good has it done in the past anyway. BTW do some of you realize the beast we have in the middle Vea we got at what #12. Let these young guys learn how to win the games they should and the rest will fall into place. If you thought we were ready for the playoffs this year you were delusional.

  21. Mike Johnson Says:

LMAo here. How dare somebody here mention..even remotely try to cpmpare Jameis to Brady. Brady is a proven Winner and 1st ballot HOF. Jameis thus far can best be described as the..cardiac Kid with a lot of miles to go.

“Robert wanted Mariota. So sad. Lol!!”
5 years ago between MM vs JW, some of us (not FSU fans) were hoping for MM as better college QB.
Today non of them is good for the Bucs as NFL QB.
The problem with JW (FSU) fans is just that…. they are just JW FANS, before they are Bucs fans.
The rest of us …. we want Bucs to play off ….. we don’t care for JW contract….
    …..how you can keep a QB with 23 int vs 26 td !!!!!!!!!!!! and 6 fumbles….

    BA = LovieS 2.0

  23. Bobby Says:

If we keep winning I could care less about picks. The object of the game is to win, doesn’t matter if it’s ugly or not. I give JW credit for engineering a fantastic comeback. If we keep showing improvement then I say keep Winston and shore up the O-line and get a veteran safety.

  24. Dapostman Says:

The stupidity of this fan base is they think that any NFL QB can make the throws and plays that Winston makes and not make any mistakes. Go rewatch the game on YouTube. There were a number of plays that most QB’s just couldn’t make. We are going to have to live with the picks until Winston and Leftwich figure it out. Those early picks need to be addressed. Too many downfield tosses early in the game. Get the backs into the passing game earlier.

  25. Rod Munch Says:

    “crazyBucs_CL Says:…..how you can keep a QB with 23 int vs 26 td !!!!!!!!!!!”

OK, Carson Palmer in 2013 (aged 34 at the time), his first year under Arians, threw 26 TDs and 22 INTs. That team went 10-6 because of their high powered offense and their great defense. BTW, that high powered offense scored 379 points in 16 games, Winston and the Bucs have 378 points in 13 games. Also Winston and the Bucs have the NFL’s second worst defense – and a kicker that missed an insanely easy FG (after Winston drove them down the field) that keeps them from being 7-6 and playing winning football.

Anyways in Arizona, Palmer was injured during his 2nd year under Arians, but in year 3 under Arians, the team went 13-3 and Palmer had 35 TDs and 11 INTs.

Of course if Winston had those numbers, the same idiots complaining now would still be complaining about 11 INTs and saying the team could go undefeated if it wasn’t for Winston.

  26. Buczilla Says:

It’s so nice to win. Holy hell, 3 in a row! Forgot what that was like.

  27. Coburn Says:

It’s a little late isn’t it? Hope next year he’s not saying the same thing in December.

  28. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Just tough words but nothing ever changes. No playoffs, a horrendous GM, crappy owners and a turnover machine at QB. Next year will be more of the same with more expensive players.

  29. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    What a bunch of crybabies…

  30. Oneilbucs Says:

Wentz can’t score points but he will get a pass for his play. I don’t want to go back to not being able to score again. Wentz is overrated…..

  31. Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

I hate the idiot commenters on this site. ANYONE who thinks we should cut JW, who leads the friggin NFL in TDs, and yards is a complete tool. Yeah, I get the argument of the league leading #INTs, but since that is something that has the potential to be fixed, you don’t dump the talent that Jameis clearly has.

As for sitting JW, et al, to see what we have in Griffin and any backups on the OL, come on ppl! We finally get a 3 game winning streak – the first in how many years? – and you want to bring it to a halt?! OMG, you clearly can’t fix STUPID!

  32. Owlykat Says:

We need to finish running the table. Establishing and keeping a winning culture is important so our free agents will want to stay with the Bucs and win a Super Bowl Ring. We need a LT in the draft. D. Smith can be an All Pro RG. Cappa will be a better RT than Dotson in his prime. Let Licht find the best Veteran Backup OL that can play all the positions that will be a free agent next year and target them to give us a top reserve OLineman to step up if we have an OL injury. That will leave us plenty of good picks to get a good sacker to follow in PFF’s footsteps and a big DT and another RB.

  33. Bucforlife Says:

Tye don’t be deceived we have seven losses three of those seven losses was not Jameis Winston’s fault I can remember one of those games Jameis Winston got us in a position to win the game and the kicker missed a field goal from 35 yards so we actually should be 9 and 4 right now besides that our defense is giving up at least 30 points a game in spite of those points they give up Jamies won six of those games I thought Tony Dungy was the best coach we had but I really really like Bruce Arians he really knows what he’s doing with Jameis Winston
