O.J. Out

November 1st, 2019

Update.

Bad news from One Buc Palace.

Stud tight end untouchable O.J. Howard has been ruled out of Sunday’s game by Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians. That’s the word from Jenna Laine of ESPN.

Per Laine, Arians said during his post-practice remarks today that Howard will not be available against the Seahawks because of a lingering hamstring issue. Howard was also unavailable last week at Nashville.

And who knows how much fellow tight end Cam Brate can play? He’s dealing with an injured rib and has been limited this week in practice.

Could this be a game where Antony Auclair steps up, or will he be used mostly as a blocking tight end?

Intrigue!

How? Not like he’s utilized anyways

  2. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

    dalvin cook is playing

  3. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

oj hasnt played since he caught that ball in the playoffs…at least he is playoff ready

  4. TampaTown Says:

Isn’t Antony Auclair SUPPOSED to be our blocking Tight End?

  5. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

    Seems OJ is always hurt

  6. Tampabuscsbro Says:

lol all these FSU homers wishing they had Dalvin Cook. if we want to play the hind sight is 20/20 game there are four guys that went after him we could use much more then a running back.

  7. Waterboy Says:

What’s new that’s the norm for him every season.

  8. TheBucsAnthem Says:

He’ll be hurt until a new Offensive Coordinator replaces “Moron Suckwich”

  9. Sydney Says:

Becoming another Jackie Harris, unquestionable talent and a mismatch, but couldn’t stay on the field.

  10. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

FYI…im a UF homer…but dalvin cook was the pick not oj howard..as well as Laremy Tunsil was the pick not former gator slug vh3….licht has a history of horrible drafts that builds a 5-11 franchise…who builds a team from the outside in and expects to win….arians destroyed the cards and now he will bury the bucs

  11. Tampabuscsbro Says:

lol Dalvin Cook was not the hot pick. TJ Watt, Ryan Ramczyk or Tre’Davious White would help this team infinitely more then a running back if we want to play the hind sight is 20/20 game. also I agree with you on the Tunsil over VHIII pick.

  12. MadMax Says:

Tank tank tank….oh yeah, we needed this….closer to a top 5 draft pick for our future QB!

  13. Tampabuscsbro Says:

Just watch us Draft Grant Delpit instead of a QB with a top 5 pick.

  14. down in the dirt doug Says:

If Jameis avoids giving the ball away and our defensive backs shut down the seahawks–WE WIN.—PIECE OF CAKE!!!!!!!!

  15. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Peyton Barber up the middle!!!

  16. Aceofaerospace Says:

Down in the dirt Doug, That’s a mighty big if.

  17. Allbuccedup Says:

    Surprise surprise!

  18. Aceofaerospace Says:

Tampabaybucfan, but only on first down. Down want to wear him out, you know.

  19. JimmyJack Says:

Not even a big deal. He’s been a stiff this year. Maybe a few weeks off his feet can turn into a good thing. But this is every year he gets injured for multiple games. The bigger they are the harder they fall I guess.

Saw Tanner Hudson out there. Let a TD go right through his hands. Wondered if thats the last pass hell ever get……I’d say give him another look in the Endzone cause Tanner don’t look like a guy that’ll drop two straight……But if they do that then they’ll be predictable.

  20. MadMax Says:

Hey, Im ok with Delpit!! Eason may fall to the bottom of the first/top of the 2nd. I’d also be good with that Ohio St. CB Okudah!

If we franchise jw…..but if we dont, we’re going QB shopping…draft or FA!

  21. Dan Says:

Dude I didn’t even notice he was active in other games anyway. Guys is a ghost and when he does have a chance he drops everything.

  22. tmaxcon Says:

Joe you really need to get a grasp on word usage…. how can a mentally weak fragile player who has accomplished nothing earn the label beast….. that’s all most as embarrassing as you labeling one year wonder has beens with 5 career playoff wins legends….

  23. tmaxcon Says:

Joe uses legend and beast on a sliding scale similar to the way public health facilities charge fees…

  24. tmaxcon Says:

And lets not leave out stud

  25. deminion Says:

    Burrow!!!!!!!!!!!

  26. Rick Says:

OJ and Brate don’t get any passes through their way anyways. At least Auclair can block. What a waste of two good players.

  27. DB55 Says:

Well miss his 30 ypg. Hopefully Hudson can catch the ball, just pretend it’s preseason Tanner.

  28. lambchop Says:

I chuckle at the tears shed for Dalvin Cook. Behind this OL, I’m not sure he’s the same player.

  29. Joseph Mamma Says:

Maybe post a sign that says “the best ability is availability” on the stud tight end’s locker.

  30. Curse of Gruden Says:

    Tmax = Jason Licht

  31. donuts Says:

OJ Howard is soft. He should have been traded for a 2nd rounder but since NE spent their #2 on Sunu they were probably offering a 3rd (too low). We have so many 1-2 round busts…this team is going nowhere the next 3 years. Evans and Vea (to some degree) is the only players that have improved each year since being drafted out of ~45 draftees. That is on coaching 100%. Way too many holes to fix at this point. When your GM is drafting TE and CB in the first round everyone else is fixing their trenches or gambling on a new QB…its inevitable that your team will suck.

Josh Allen (who they should have picked instead of the bad D. White) has 7 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. I will predict D White will never make a Pro Bowl. He doesnt have the “it” factor at all….Im not sure what they saw on tape that made him attractive at 5. Reach!! The kid PIT drafted Bush is outplaying him weekly. This franchise is a dumpster fire and Licht just grabbed the can of gasoline instead of the water.

  32. AKickInTheBucNuts Says:

    OH NO!

With him we went 2-5, now what will happen?

    The horror.

He made us so much better.

  33. MadMax Says:

“Im depressed….2-5 looking at a very possible 2-8” (should be a headline Joe’s lol)

But things are looking up in the draft/rebuild dept. 🙂

  34. Petty Officer Buc Says:

For some reason I’m expecting a dead cat bounce. The Bucs have no reason or expectation to win this game so of course they will somehow. Good Winston will show up on Sunday calling it now.

  35. 813bucboi Says:

not sure if i care at this point….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  36. Locked In Says:

OJ is untouchable- even the Bucs can’t use him

  37. Lamarcus Says:

Doesn’t matter. No matter what production he gets… It will be negated by the secondary

  38. simeon Says:

How does Jason Licht still have a job?

  39. Mike10 Says:

Doesn’t matter who we draft. We don’t have the coaches that can develop and get the most out of talent. Any player can go just about anywhere else, and be better.

  40. firethecannons Says:

    what about tanner hudson

  41. Hodad Says:

O.J., and Justin Evans, always in the tub, never helping the club. How did O.J. hurt himself this time? The guy can’t stay healthy. I saw Kittle last night get his knee bent backwards, limp off, then come back catch a pass, and knock guys out on his way to the endzone. Bucs players are all pansies. O.J. has been damaged goods since he became a Buc. A smart GM would’ve traded him. Like Justin Evans, O.J. will make a nice living on IR until the Glazers come to their senses, and find a GM who knows what he’s doing.

  42. The Last Current Call !! Says:

you are who your record says you ARE!!!

time to clean house 5 years of jw was enough …… time for LICKED to go as well …. leftwich doesnt have a clue……

  43. Bucsfanman Says:

Um, OK! I guess we’ll need someone else to fill in for his dropped passes and fumbles then.
I don’t get this exaggerated valuation from fans. He’s done nothing, zero, ZIP. That he doesn’t get the ball doesn’t seem to matter anyway because he can’t catch! Please show me this “beast” people keep talking about. We keep talking about OJ like he’s Gronk. Just STOP, please!

  44. MISTERMARTY Says:

OJ sure doesn’t have any problems going out clubbing on Friday before Sunday’s game. Him and Hargreaves both need to pack there bags and get away from this team. They are both cancers.

  45. Allbuccedup Says:

OJ is untouchable and unplayable should have unloaded him to new england by 2020 draft he will have a bad reputation and no one will trade for him.

  46. unbelievable Says:

Have any of our tightends NOT been used primarily as blocking tightends?

Over/under on how many times Leftwich draws up critical plays to Miller or Perriman this week?

    I’m putting it at 7.5

  47. orlbucfan Says:

OJ Howard has a hamstring injury. For a a tight end receiver/receiver in this league it’s a bitch. So now, BA can utilize all the TE backups Bucs have to play the game and win it. Tanner Hudson, he can catch. Brate and Aucoin, under-used players. Combined with ME13 and Ungodly as the pure receivers, where’s the problem?? It compensates the Oline weaknesses if the offense is called right. Winston can run. Call 2-minute hurry-up plays, and bootleg options. This goes down and we win. Defense and ST will make sure of it!!

  48. tmaxcon Says:

Joe how about a post about that fragile bum kwon lol

    ……………
LOL Dalvin played in 4 games his first season and 11 in his second season. So far this yr he has played in all 8. SO FAR.
A trade up for Christian McCaffery was the pick.

  52. PRBucFan Says:

    He is no longer famous

    That title is lost

It is now Freeman 2.0 until further notice

  53. FortMyersDave Says:

Bust but if he got traded to Bellicheat he would miraculously suit up and by week 10 be the new Gronk.

  54. dmatt Says:

He’s out even when he’s in…out of site! When the words big n soft come up I think of O.J. n DSmith.

  55. BigHog Says:

PRBucFan: Call him what you want and I’ll do me …I know we good with that! GO TEAM BUCS !! FAMOUS takes us to win on Sunday!!

  56. Ndog Says:

You guys keep dreaming you all know the QB of this team next year is Jameis Winston.

  57. Pryda...Sec147 Says:
