JPP Has A Knee Injury

November 20th, 2019

Joe is finished doubting Jason Pierre-Paul.

Dude returned from a broken neck this year in record time, and he blew digits off his hand years ago and made it back from that, too.

So Joe has just about nothing to say about the new JPP knee injury, announced today by Bucco Bruce Arians. It kept JPP from practicing as the Bucs returned to the field at One Buc Palace.

JPP did battle a knee issue late last season and had just one quarterback hit and one sack through the final four games of 2018?

Anyone going to bet against JPP playing Sunday taking down Matt Ryan? Unless Joe hears that JPP has been abducted by armed aliens, Joe will assume JPP is playing Sunday in Atlanta.

Presented by Caldeco Air Conditioning & Heating, TAMPA TWO is back with a new episode, with Bucs legend Derrick Brooks and Ira Kaufman diving deep into Sunday’s mess against New Orleans. Another great production from The Identity Tampa Bay and Joe.

If I was JPP, I would shut it down for next season…..

  2. Etzel Says:

I suppose he still has incentives, what with the re-worked contract and all… but you get my point! bad team! ahh!!!

  3. bogiedr Says:

You kidding me? JPP is out of here!! Can you say Patriots addition through free agency? Belecheat love the old Big East players, guess what league JPP played in for USF? He’ll be the terror of the edge they have been looking for!

  4. sincethebeginning Says:

Love the positivity Joe! In JPP we trust!!

  5. lewis Says:

why shut him down bringing back JW will shut down this team anyway , jamis is a selfish player he knows he cant play in this league at a high level and yet he puts the fans threw hell so he can have his crablegs and eat them too, and i dont care if they win its too late to show anything fans are over it and our GM

  6. LongSeason Says:

Depends on how serious the knee injury is. If it is minor I bet you are right and JPP will suit up and start. Guy is a beast.

  7. lewis Says:

Jw cant retain knowledge an they say he is smart i disagree my guess his IQ is equal to a 6 grader and he is truly blessed

  8. TOM Says:

In addition to JW eating his crablegs don’t forget about him eating his W’s. Worthless. Hope JPP’s knee is nothing serious.

Anybody who has read my posts knows how vehemently against tanking for a higher draft pick.

I do NOT ever want to lose on purpose. Losing is for losers.

Having said that…it does change things for the remainder of this year. I agree with Etzel. While I don’t wish to lose it does make sense to preserve resources we already know are worth it.

E.G. We already know how good LVD is…any injury to him should be treated with an eye to preserving him for next year.

But EVERY rookie and 2nd year player should get more reps. If that costs us games so be it…but we still do our best to win. If the kids ball out and we win that’s GREAT. Moving up the draft order is far less important than teaching our kids how to win.

You do NOT learn how to win by losing!!! It’s as simple as that!

  10. Stanglassman Says:

    Lewis threw his feces.

Lewis finally got through 3rd grade on his 2nd try.

  11. Pewter power Says:

Etzel that why your you and he is where he is. He has no contract for next year so I’m sure the last thing he wants anyone to think is he is old and injury prone now. There are a lot of one year contracts on this team and the one idiot VH3 is the reason you go hard.

  12. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Thank goodness Lewis is in here to lower all of our IQs by simply reading his comments.

  13. Mike Johnson Says:

MJSpin here on your radio dial here. where the..BucLife HITS..just keep on comin.

  14. Wesley Says:

    Who cares anymore.

  15. SOEbuc Says:

Good. One more reason he needs to be dropped next year. Get Anthony Nelson some good reps and see what happens.

  16. cmurda Says:

We all go a little off topic here and there but everyone is getting sick of the Jameis talk. This article is about JPP and his superhuman ability to come back from insane injuries. No matter what ends up happening with JPP, I appreciate him.

  17. Lefty Says:

Who could give a phlying ph()ck at this point? Get rid of these stupid unis and go back to an era where there was some success with this Godforsaken franchise

  18. Hodad Says:

So he’ll be out there, he’s a warrior, who cares? Did he make any big plays last Sunday when the Saints came marching in? They ran up, and down the field on us. JPP got as close to Brees as I did. We all hail JPP, but his play doesn’t make any difference on Sundays. It hasn’t since he’s returned, it didn’t help us best another 5-11 season last year. He’s back, defense still can’t stop anybody, we keep getting beat, it doesn’t matter.

  19. ElBajito43 Says:

    Tank For Chase Young

  20. Allbuccedup Says:

Probably hurt his knee kicking one of the team loafers in the as_.

  21. BigHog Says:

I guess we ONE fan down …sucking on a crab leg….BYE lewis …retain that!!!

  22. Owlykat Says:

JPP is an emotional leader of our defense and will keep any slackers accountable even if he doesn’t get a sack. We need him back next year with a contract with incentives, but we need to spend our 2D pick on a large DE to replace JPP after being trained by him. He was our first double digit sacker in ages last year and he is due our respect. We will need to franchise Barret next year to keep him. Offer Jameis $12 million one year prove it contract which is higher than what he would get as backup elsewhere. Cut Jameis and you risk our best WRs going elsewhere!

  23. Allbuccedup Says:

I don’t think the receivers would leave because of Jameis they are the ones making Jameis look good. It’s all about winning and money personal relations have little to do with NFL players now.

  24. Mike Johnson Says:

Poor Guy. I hate to see JPP in his middle aged years. Severe Arthritis in his head, neck, Knees hands..injections and drugs galore. Makes you wonder why some Guys are not smart enough to move on. Or whether they have the ability or common sense to do so. I see a nice wheelchair and walking cane in his distant future. Quit while you are even dude. You should have quit after the neck injury. This is sadder than one can ever imagine. His post..gladiator future.
