Just rebuild already! Admit it and embrace it. Or we can just keep going the way we have for the last decade.

  2. Tye Says:

If they are going to keep Arians, they are likely stuck with his guys at Oc and DC so a SB is likely 0 chance but man make it exciting to watch the team again..

Do like with Arians, talk Andrew Luck into coming out of retirement, get Eason, Fromm or hurts if they fall in second round, bolster pass rush and find an every down back…

  3. Jean Lafitte Says:

Joe harping on the young diaper dandy secondary and refuses to accept that turnovers on offense attribute to easy scores against our defense. I would have thought by now Ira could’ve even got through to his muscle head. Ira just gave a great explanation and crazy Joe said meh like Curly Howard.

Give him a *doink* Ira lol

  4. Tom S. Says:

Year after year under Licht we’ve had remarkably similar problems.

Remember one of Licht’s first acts as GM was to release Darelle Revis and Donald Penn. After looking at his kicking situation with Connor Barth and Patrick Murray Licht released both of them after trading for Kyle Brindza:

While Revis was getting paid a boatload of money (16 mil), his moment on the roster made him the best Bucs DB in Licht’s tenure even though he never played a snap. The secondary has been mostly horrendous for the 6 seasons since and no change in coaches or coordinators have changed that.

Penn would go on to be a fixture at LT for Oakland and make two Pro Bowls in 2016 and 2017 after Licht decided that he’d rather sign Anthony Collins to a big time contract instead. Collins would last one year.

After releasing both kickers that he inherited Licht would go on a quixotic quest which resulted in Tampa having the worst FG% in the NFL by going through failed experiments with Brindza, Barth, Aguayo, Murray, Folk, Cantanzaro, Santos and only now maybe getting one right with Gay.

Jason once said he “could write a book” about the investigation he did on Jameis Winston’s off field incidences before he chose him number one overall and 11 months before Winston would have yet another incident with an Uber driver that resulted in a 4 game suspension.

I could “write a book” on why Jason Licht is 30-60 and the Bucs future doesn’t look substantially better than it’s recent past thanks to his miscues.

  5. SteveK Says:

Joe makes good pints about the good from Jameis, but his refusal to accept/see/acknowledge the incredible amount of turnovers is sad.

And, how does one unbiasedly bash’s secondary of youngsters and not hold the fifth year, former number one overall pick, accountable? It’s hilaroous af! Still love Joe though and over the years I still Skagerrak with him about Freeman and Jameis, but he has great points.

    Thanks Joe! Thanks Irv!

  6. SteveK Says:

    Disagree with joe about Freeman/Jameis*

  7. Jim Says:

If our problem has been the D, why did we get the “Quarterback Whisperer”?

  8. Kevin Says:

IMHO Licht is still an upgrade on Mark Dominik and Bruce Allen. Maybe a low bar but that’s the last 15 years for ya. Maybe it’s time for a change but it could get worse before it gets better.

  9. SteveK Says:

My worst fear is that we are force fed more of the same next year and we go 5-11 or worse four years in a row. And we are out of the playoff hunt early. Meaningless games.

  10. Buccfan37 Says:

No wonder the Bucs ship is stuck on some big rocks, this subpar team and finicky management couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Or against any other losing team left to play. Prove me wrong and bring back a win in Atlanta. I give you 30% chance to win.

  11. NPRSageBoy Says:

Burn it down to the ground.

Fire everyone and sell off an assets of value.

  12. Jordan Says:

You know who also could sling the ball anywhere on the field and wow’d audiences with certain throws?…Jeff George. One in the same.

  13. ElBajito43 Says:

Joe you are obsessed with Winston. He is NOT “America’s anything No one else likes him bro

  14. ElBajito43 Says:

Bucs scouts said to be at Oregon games watching ORANGE 🍊 UGONNA PICK ME HERBERT

mock drafts show Bucs saying yes to a new QB

will you cry if this happens Joe?

  15. Lamarcus Says:

Man I never pay attention to gms but damn 30-60. Oh he gotta go

  16. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

Lmao Justin Herbert please no. Jameis will be back! We will draft oline and possibly draft a QB in a later round. Secondary will be addressed in FA. I want to see how Jameis does with a competent defense first. Arians knows what to do. Go Bucs!

  17. Adrnagy Says:

    Yahooooo!

  18. Ndog Says:

All I’m rooting for at this point is for us to get a new QB so the Clueless can finally see that the QB is not the issue. Unfortunately it is going to take us losing our best offensive output ever for these people to realize what our real problems are. It really is sad for us all that we have not put a quality team around a quality QB. Oh well I guess we can just suck again for forever cause if anybody thinks a new QB is coming in here next year learn a new offense get beat to death, have no running game and need to put up 30 a game and win you’re on crack.

  19. Adrnagy Says:

drafting Tackle. Pash rusher and cb.
I could see Tyrol Taylor in a Bucs uniform while we built.

  20. Buc1987 Says:

Ira….we miss you at your favorite local Italian restaurant!

  21. ElBajito43 Says:

If I’m on CRACK…. them your on METH ndog

  22. ElBajito43 Says:

Ndog does Fentanyl that’s why he has a excuse book with 10 chapters to explain each kind of Winston Turnover

  23. Easy Says:

Jalen Hurts would turn this franchise around.

  24. Bruce Blahak Says:

Better get Lee checked out….WinSTUNNED DELUSION….Best Bucs QB my a**!!!

  25. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Clueless Joe says he sees something from Jameis to keep him but doesn’t say what it is

Just like when he always mentions these mysterious sources

    What a joke

  26. Troy Says:

This is not a well coached team. We can agree on that.
