BSPN Down On Bucs

November 8th, 2019

Bucs hater?

This is getting to be hilarious.

Joe cannot confess to watching all previous BSPN videos where former Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz and former Belicheats linebacker Rob Ninkovich give their predictions for the Bucs each week.

But damn, man. Joe has yet to see Cruz pick the Bucs to win. Not one week. Either Cruz is convinced the Bucs are no better of a football team than Florida State or Bucco Bruce Arians must have told him to f’ off when Cruz was looking for work.

You can watch (and hear) Cruz slobber over Big Red quarterback Kyler Murray.

    Q. Who are the Bucs playing this week?

    A. The Winners.

  2. TheBucsAnthem Says:

The problem Joe is very obvious…….the Bucs always finds ways to lose games.

    – Jameis is turnover machine
    – Our Secondary is horrific
    – This whole coaching staff is suspect now

At this point….they should’ve just kept Dirk Koetter……it’s not like things are “so much better”.

  3. DooshLaRue Says:

Is that Miko? Ha ha ha

  4. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    Awwwww hells naw!!!!!^^^^^^^

Miko was not attractive like this chica above in the pic

    Miko was just Ghetto-rific!!!!!

  5. DB55 Says:

I thought that was TI and his daughter 🤣

  6. tmaxcon Says:

miko has more class in her pinky than ownership of this minor league franchise…. guarantee it would not take miko nearly two decades between meaningful wins….

  7. Waterboy Says:

Smart man. If he was a betting man he’d be right more times than not.

  8. Alanbucsfan Says:

    It’s pretty simple-
If Jameis doesn’t turn it over, Bucs have a great chance of winning.
Wilson was fantastic last week and Bucs lost, but generally, Bucs should win IF Jameis doesn’t turn it over, even with the weak secondary –

Murray isn’t Wilson and C Davis should be back

  9. pelbuc Says:

The RayJay where the only sure thing is the visiting team always wins.

  10. stpetebucsfan Says:

And with a new strategy of losing on purpose…AKA tanking…we can really celebrate our reputation as losers eh.

Is there a difference in perception if we finish 5-3 over these final 8 with at least one win against tough competition….as opposed to say 0 or 1-8?

What will the players think if we tank? Will that build their confidence…will it end the losing culture or just add to it?

Again…tanking is primarily for ONE freaking player…and I’ve already pointed out the odds for success on any ONE player.

Furthermore does anybody think we are just ONE player away from a SB?

Let’s play the final 8…and we desperately need to find out what we have in JW. Again if we finish the final 8 at 5-3 or better the conversation changes dramatically.

I have not given up totally on JW like many here. But I’m no longer sure even if he’s pretty good that using that money to build our D isn’t a better choice. But as DB55 loves to say wtfdik

  11. Sharthappens Says:

    Reminder Joe:
    We are 2-6
Our QB has the second most turnovers in the league.
The Cardinals are on the rise and damn near beat the 49ers last week
We are on a 4 game losing streak and this should be the game we begin the big tank
The Cardinals are coming off a 10 days rest
We are “exhausted” from all the travel. Makes me wonder why the Raiders are not.
    We just plain suck

  12. stpetebucsfan Says:

Btw…wonder how these threads might change if we even won the next two…the one we should win and a huge upset the following week against the Saints?

  13. ElioT Says:

    Tanking is for losers.

Tanking is done in preparation of a regime change and complete rebuild.

    Tanking degrades the Team Culture.

With that said, if the Bucs can Tank to finally get rid of THE WORST GM in all of football, I’d be all for it.

We’ll just have to wait and see… and drink.

  14. Tye Says:

full honesty – this is the 1st week all season that I am picking the Bucs but in NO WAY am I confident about it…
I predicted a 3-13 thinking their best chances for a win being Cardinal, Jags and Titans… The Panthers with injured Newton helped with that win and numerous ints on their side of the field greatly helped against the Rams..

But now the Cards are improving while the Bucs may be imploding so the Cards may embarrass the Bucs which would be about right..

Titans won, the Jags are getting Foles under center and so if the Cards win, the Bucs may only have hope to win once or twice against Falcons…
The Falcons could be the team that gets the joy of shoving the Bucs into ‘Bucs Cove’ once again!

  15. Jmarkbuc Says:

    SPBF

    Ifs and buts…..really?

  16. Pete I Says:

Why at this point would anyone be “up” on the Bucs?

What have they done that warrants anything but being down on them?

  17. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

    DB55 I am with you on T.I.

but why should a sinking ship like the bucs get love over a rising star in the dessert like kyler murray?

  18. Craig Says:

I have to agree with Cruz. You can never guess if the Bucs will win because you can’t outrun stupidity. It can pop out of Jameis at the worst times.

Murray has thrown 172 passes since his last interception and he can toss an accurate long ball on the run.

Compare that to Jameis and you’ll see where I’m going. Murray will torch the secondary early and Jameis will try to play from behind. There aren’t many things uglier than Jameis playing from behind.

  19. boogie Says:

lol at these comments.. so i guess it was jameis fault we lost last week? LOL Jameis turns the ball over because he has to play hero ball every week! our defense has been trash for years but everyone looks passed that and blames Jameis

  20. Jean Lafitte Says:

    boogie

yes that one fumble last week put Seattle back in the game

  21. Jean Lafitte Says:

not to mention the ones that should have ben intercepted ..he got lucky

  22. Deez days Says:

It’s just laughable how joe is in shock that ESPN always picks against the Bucs …I don’t think anyone can pick the Bucs to win … they are the strangest team these past few years… I never pick the Bucs … ever … last time I picked the Bucs and felt comfortable was probably during our super bowl run…I could honestly feel more comfortable picking Tampa last year than this year… open your eyes joe the Bucs suck … they are the worst team in the NFL… the browns would beat us … the dolphins are a win away from having the same record as us when we lose Sunday … ponder that

  23. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

boogie are you jameis1of1 aka j licht….come on man take off the stik carrier glasses

  24. TexBuc Says:

I guess Phillip Rivers got lucky last night 2 int nullified by defensive penalties or he would have had 5 int last nite instead of just 3 int.

  25. TexBuc Says:

We have 2 WR in the Top 5 in the NFL, #4 offense in scoring, and #7 passing TD’s in the NFL.

It is the 31st rank pass defense we should be worried about.

  26. TexBuc Says:

Bucs win at home this week!

  27. NeersGuru Says:

Joe… you know the Bucs are 2-6

  28. Touchdown, Tampa Bay Says:

    Hell yeah, Bucs win!!!!

  29. Bucs_Fan_Orlando Says:

    Joe

The bucs are 2 – 6 if yiu picked the bucs to lose every week you would be 75% correct which is pretty good for picking.

The bucs find a way to lose until proven otherwise picking against them is just smart.

The real story is if you blindly picked the bucs to lose over thr last 10 years you would be more right then wrong, bucs are 54 and 106 since 2010 (which incidentally was the last good year with double digit wins, 10)

Joe wanna bet today that the bucs win more games then they lose for the rest of the season?

Here is a bold prediction, the bus will lose most of the rest of the season. If they are lucky they beat the Cardinals and trade wins with the Falcons.

If they are lucky they hit 3 – 5 for the back half for a season record of 5 – 11 season.

No chance against Saints, Jags, Colts and Texans.

I will bet you a 100$ a week for the rest of the year straight up bucs lose. I’m sure I’ll end up making money on that bet.

  30. unbelievable Says:

Uh, maybe he just has eyeballs and watches the Bucs play?

I too have picked the Bucs to lose the last 4 weeks in a row, and guess what? They’ve lost all 4 weeks!

    It’s almost like… they’re not a good football team.

  31. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

What have the Bucs done to make anyone think they can win?

I don’t see hate at all just smart analysis

  32. stpetebucsfan Says:

    JMark

    “Ifs and buts…..really?”

Yep. Get your point but it’s ALL we have and the good news it’s all we have period in life…THIS MOMENT! I could have the big one before I finish typing…LMAO Yeah I’m that old.

Bottom line is IMHO whenever you are talking about the future there is nothing certain…not even the Bucs sucking.

But again my dad was a bookie and he lived his life looking at odds…if you wish to cast it that way I would agree that our odds are long but far from impossible.

Do we think the league would crap itself if we won five of the last eight. Would our fans think it was a fluke….well most of them here of course…again LMAO

  33. Mister Negative Nancy Says:

you make it sound like the Bucs are good

  34. PRBucFan Says:

    The Bucs suck so?

  35. Kenny Says:

Why is it hilarious? The Bucs are one of the worst teams in the NFL, and have been for a generation… I feel nothing when people pick against the Bucs or say rookie QBs will have a coming out party against the Bucs. Are we watching the same team?

  36. Losinghope Says:

Duuuhhh, is Joe really that stupid?! Of course people are down on us. You can bet against TB all 16 games and come out on top

  37. Buc96NYC Says:

All yr Cruz has made it clear he doesn’t like Jameis…kinda sad how these media ppl let their personal feelings get in the way of just reporting what they see w/o bias…
